This was my second visit to Crown Lexus of Ontario, and unfortunately, the experience felt more impersonal than what I'm accustomed to from Lexus of Frederick in Colorado, where the service and customer care were exceptional. When I arrived, I was asked whether I had a particular service advisor I wanted to work with. I said no, so someone came over and assisted me. I was only there for an oil change, but the process took a little longer than I expected. I arrived around 10:00 a.m. and left at approximately 11:30 a.m. (They didn't appear to be very busy for a Friday morning). I chose not to use a loaner vehicle and waited in the service area instead. During that time, no one checked in with me to provide an update, let me know when the service was nearly complete, or tell me that my vehicle was being washed. At the Lexus dealerships I previously visited in Colorado, the staff consistently kept me informed throughout the process. Even when I waited on-site, they would check in, explain what stage the service was in, and ask whether I had any questions. That level of communication and personal attention was missing here. Perhaps the dealership was short-staffed, busy, or simply operating differently, but the experience felt more like business as usual--quick and transactional, without much genuine connection. Nothing went wrong, but nothing particularly impressed me or stood out either. I expected a little more from a Lexus dealership based on my previous experiences. read more

If you wish to have your personal property stolen while servicing your vehicle at Crown Lexus of Ontario, then I highly recommend this place. It is interesting how responsive receptionists, service advisors, and the service supervisor was when it pertained to receiving payment from me for services conducted at their dealership, but not for my urgent concerns regarding my personal belongings. The lack of human decency and their lack of ability to do the right thing is a shame. I suppose I will now be taking my business elsewhere and will make a note of it within the car community. Thank you to the service supervisor (I will keep your name anonymous for now) for being responsive only when it benefited you. I spoke to multiple people in the service department, receptionists, and I left multiple messages and voicemails, but no response, no checking for me, no getting back to me. I highly doubt the rude receptionist and service advisors even bothered to check for me, and my personal service advisor who happened to be the supervisor also failed to respond to me. Due to the lack of response or consideration to return my personal belongings, I am here now writing a review for other customers to be warned. I will continue to inform throughout different platforms. No customer deserves to be treated in such a disrespectful manner. Failing to complete your service procedures and failing to assist customers with their concerns regarding stolen personal property is a disappointment. Thank you again for only responding when it pertained to taking advantage of your customers. I am dearly disappointed, but still hope Crown Lexus staff have a change of heart and decide to do the right thing and return my personal belongings. Use the lost and found as an excuse... I can't help but wonder.... If they've stolen the personal property of one person, what makes you think it was their first time? The lack of response from Crown Lexus only supports this. Here for a 3pm appointment to service my NX300 vehicle. The text message from Crown told me my advisor would be Tony who the service valet tells me is out today. -Minus Anyway another service advisor came out quickly and brought me inside. - Plus The quote for service included a minor service but added spark plugs and a transmission service based on time (not mileage). So considerably more than the quote when I made the appointment. - Minus Luckily I had a 20% discount coupon which took away some of the sting. - Plus Waiting now for my car to be done. They send you a video of them inspecting your vehicle which is cool. No issues note- Plus They recommended a couple of services that I rejected as they are simple things that I can do myself. - Minus Still waiting for my car. The original quote said less than 2 hours but with the extra services 2.5 hours was closer to the actuals. Also, they charge you a service charge for using a credit card. So in summary: the service staff is great, but the dealership service software will try to upsell you on everything. read more

Updated: 05/21/26 Initial experience is as described below in the second paragraph, but had an absolutely horrible follow up a month after. We had been waiting for weeks for our registration to arrive. We contacted Crown Lexus multiple times and they said they would look into it. After a week they got back to us and said they had messed up and overcharged us for multiple things. Even after admitting fault and going back and forth multiple times they refused to refund us what they overcharged and said "it is what it is". Absolutely disgusting service after we had just bought their vehicle. Seems as soon as they get your money you are as good as forgotten with crown Lexus. Would not come here again. Went there with my wife last week to check out a Lexus NX last minute. We were helped out by a young, new girl who immediately was able to help us out with a test drive. We ended up liking the vehicle and then went in to talk numbers with the floor manager Ray. He was able to help us get to the number we were looking for and even beat the financing rate that my credit union offered by a big margin! I normally do not leave reviews, but after everything I experienced with this dealership, I feel people should be aware before doing business here. I purchased a 2017 Tesla Model S after being told the vehicle had been fully serviced. I was even provided estimates showing work such as brake service had supposedly been completed. I made a $3,000 down payment and took the vehicle home, only for it to start making concerning noises shortly afterward. I immediately reached out to the dealership, but communication was extremely poor. For days, the vehicle sat parked in my garage while I struggled to get answers. I even had to borrow another car just to commute to work because both the sales representative and sales manager were unavailable, and nobody else could assist until they returned. When I finally brought the vehicle back, I requested a loaner car while they inspected it. Instead, they tried to move me into another Tesla with fewer miles "to see how I liked it." However, the rates and APR they offered were significantly higher than my original deal. The payments were so unreasonable that I would have ended up paying more for a used vehicle than I would for a brand-new car. I then suggested another vehicle on their lot that was closer in price to the original Tesla. What concerned me was that my credit was run again on 5/26 without my knowledge after it had already been checked on 5/23 and 5/1 for the original deal. Once I arrived, I was suddenly being asked for additional information and documents that were never requested during the first approval process, including pay stubs and employment verification details. I was also asked to complete a new application dated 5/26, which felt extremely questionable. When I asked why I was filling out a new application, I was told that although I had initially been "automatically approved," the bank now had an analyst reviewing everything. I specifically asked whether this could result in a denial and additional damage to my credit from multiple hard inquiries. I also asked why they could not simply repair the original vehicle instead of putting me through another financing process. I never received a clear answer. Throughout the entire process, I was given little to no updates about what was actually wrong with the original Tesla or whether it could even be repaired. I was told they could not cancel the original contract because the loan had already been funded, and that the only way out was for me to get approved on another vehicle. At the time, I already had another car loan in good standing with no missed payments. With the Tesla loan already active, they were essentially attempting to get me approved for a third vehicle loan, which made absolutely no sense. When I pointed this out, I was simply told they were "trying to help." Eventually, another manager stepped in and stated they could cancel the original loan and refund my money. However, I was never provided written proof that the loan was canceled, no receipt showing my refund was processed, and no timeline for when my money would actually be returned to my account. Since then, I have repeatedly tried contacting the dealership and have either been ignored, left on read, or unable to get a response. I still need to retrieve personal belongings, and nobody will communicate with me. At this point, I am left with no vehicle, multiple hard inquiries on my credit report, wasted time, stress, and uncertainty about when I will even receive my refund back. I understand cars are sold "as-is," but customers still deserve honesty, professionalism, communication, and accountability. I was going to let everything slide, but now I need to vent. I had my 2025 Lexus IS 500 serviced on 02/09/26. They got me in and out in 1 hour. That's terrific... But now the bad. My car was written up as a 10K service when it should have been a 5K service. They returned the vehicle to me with the headlights set as "DRL Off' when it was set to automatic when I brought it in. I could have been in an accident had I not caught that. And lastly, right on the receipt it said my maintenance indicators were reset, but lo and behold, today both lights came on and I had to reset them myself. I've bought this Lexus from them and had it serviced for years, but I'm not willing to accept 3% on top of the EXORBITANT cost for service that you pay at a dealership. I feel the service at Crown Lexus has declined greatly. I have been a loyal Lexus owner since 2004 and was always impressed with the level of service I received. I recently purchased a used Lexus SC 430 from an independent dealer and was having difficulty with raising the rear quarter panel windows with the convertible top down for window tinting purposes. It seems the function is different with each year, as there was a YouTube video online of how to perform the task but it was for the 2006 version. I previously owned a 2006 and had no problems with performing the function on that vehicle. I called the dealership for assistance and Tino, a service advisor, advised that I could bring the vehicle in and pay the $250+ diagnostic fee to determine how to perform the function, which I thought was ridiculous, as there was specific problem with the vehicle, I just needed to know the "secret" function specific to my model year. Ultimately, I found a private mechanic who used to work for Lexus and he informed me of the steps to perform the function...FREE of charge. Three months later, I took my vehicle to Crown Lexus for a second opinion on some repairs and to have them balance and rotate my tires. They came back and advised a list of $2500 of repairs/service they recommended, some of which included repairs/service I had just completed 3 month prior. Additionally, I questioned whether they actually balanced/rotated my tires/wheels, as there are imperfections on my wheels and I could tell they were not rotated. I called and expressed my concerns to the service advisor, Mark, who referred me to his manager, Jason. Jason said there was security video he would provide me that depicted my wheels of the vehicle but the video sent was a walk around of my vehicle with the wheels on the vehicle. I'm very disappointed and this has left me feeling as if the vehicle I know own, will be my last from the Lexus brand. read more

When we went to buy our car here we got there it took a few hours just to be helped right away the person I made a appointment gives us the keys and says you can go on your own I'm busy. So we get back and he's no we're to be found someone tells us to wait there. While we are waiting he text me after a hour saying I'm going to bring you the paperwork. It took 3 hrs later let me remind you we got here at 8pm Right away when we tested the car I noticed there was cracks in the window also a few scrapes and scratches on the car this was not mentioned on the listing. We made sure to bring this up to Abel the car sales man before we made our purchase. He promised us it wouldn't be a problem they would seal the the small rock chip on the window and that it would never re open he also said the would fix all the scratches. We asked for if there was a discount that could be applied he said no we have the best prices and quality around. Abel then talked us into buying insurance for windows and tires so we went with his opinion. Some scratches were still visible even after they made us take the car back to do these services after we had purchased. The paint is also now coming off, Not even a few months later the crack in the window is now huge. I email no response so I call they say Abel is out so I can again and ask about the insurance we are paying extra for. They say it doesn't cover the window just the tires we ask to cancel it and they said they can't we were scammed so bad here. Let me remind you we only owned this car for 4 months now. I have been going to Crown Lexus since I bought my first car, RC 300T back in 2016 at this location. Long story short, I ended up in an accident, got a new RC 350 F sport at the Riverside Lexus in 2018 but I come to this Ontario location because I live in this city and have been with this car since. Almost 7 years strong with this car! Service has always been fantastic over the years, and I would argue service has been getting better as of more recent. The facility itself is huge, plenty of parking, quiet, very clean, and a great place to relax and get some snacks while your car is getting tuned up. It is very easy to set up an appointment with any rep. You are seen promptly. Basic every 5k miles tuning usually takes 2-3 hours, sometimes less so the waits aren't gregariously long. I think the fastest mine was every done was like an hour and a half. I definitely recommend getting to know one of the customer service reps and sticking with them, it goes a long ways. I have been with Tony Hang since 2022 as he was a recommended service rep by an acquaintance of mine. Shout out to Tony! He's super chill, very friendly, casual, but also professional, gets straight to the point and let's you know his recommendations while not trying to force you or urge you to do services that you may or may not want. I think there are 2 important things to note for any customers stopping by. The loaner car is not always available on request, unless your car is expected to take more than just a day for maintenance. I also believe the car wash is not always available and provided to you. This is part of the reason why you definitely should get to know your service reps as these can likely be offered complimentary. Car washes are always included when I see Tony and if ever I need a loaner, it's usually available. That's just great service overall. Great service, great location, and a great location for general/routine maintenance. Maybe some day I'll upgrade to the RC as my car is getting old! Lol! read more

Convenience and ease of booking a service appointment... Five stars! Customer service is a bit iffy, hence the lower rating. A couple of odd things have happened in the past services I've had for my car. One of them was something decorating my car went missing and then the other one was that I ended up having a screw stuck in my tire. Heads up, there no proof that the screw came from the service department, and it's just so happened that my tire went flat on the freeway the same day I picked up my car from service. I had only been to one other location before the tire popped. Consumers in general: Be mindful that certain Lexus models do not carry spare tires, so that'll end up costing more to replace and to tow. All that to say is the drop off service option overnight is very convenient. they replaced my tire within a couple of hours... It was just a very costly inconvenience.
