Care Choice has AMAZING Caregivers. Stepanie, especially takes such good care with me practically integrates into my household instantly. She makes me Meals keeps the place tidy and does whatever I need her to do. She's absolutely wonderful. I don't wanna say it anymore. Great things about her because I wanna keep her all to myself :-) Anna came to my house over the weekend kept me company made me meals and somehow managed to do laundry and clean half the house in only four hours. Our requirements require, daily bed bath for non ambulatory patient, along with oral hygiene, shaving, dressing, and skilled in use of Hoyer lift to move patien to Chairs and wheel chair. I am a 30 year veteran and recently had a stroke. After applying for home healthcare aid I was unfortunately placed with this company for my 16 hour a week in home healthcare by the VA.Since my stroke I've been concerned about Covid so I only wanted a healthcare worker only weekends. It took 3 weeks for this company to find someone to provide care. Why does the Va put up with these companies that say they can provide service but take their sweet time with providing the services. I told them I was going to ask the VA for a different healthcare service, so they told the Va I was prejudice against one of the health providers. Of course I wasn't. Just a story so they don't look bad in the eyes of the Va and lose those government dollars. Veterans ask for a different company if you get unlucky and the VA picks this one for you. My mother needed help in the evenings. She had a fall on her way to bed resulting from not getting enough oxygen. We spent the night with her in ER and convinced her to accept home care. We unfortunately did not hire Care Choice Home Care, but went on a recommendation for a large franchise company. It was a disaster. The people they sent put their own agenda over my mother's and manipulated her schedule away from the time she needed to be helped, getting to bed. At her age, my mother did not realize the risk and nobody communicated with the family this had taken place. Communication was horrendous. It took me over a month to speak directly with a representative from the company. Another fall and trip to the ER during that month lead us to shop around. After researching government reports and online reviews, I noticed Care Choice Home Care. Their site was all about the people they care for and those giving that care. Unlike all other websites, they did not require giving personal contact information before they would reveal the details of their services. Up until finding Care Choice Home Care online, I felt like I was shopping for a car, hook after hook. What a relief! I called and spoke with Jeani. My sense of relief blossomed to hope. She described a service that was everything the franchise was not. Her team gets strong support and guidance. When we call, Jeani assures that our concerns are addressed. Everybody I talk to, Nicole, Alex, Susan, are pleasant, understanding, not just responsive. They proactively suggest remedies to situations. We get constant communication, emails updating schedules, invoices to review before sending to insurance, and follow up calls to see that changes are effective. The caregivers are well trained, thoughtful and there for one reason. They take care of Mom. Nobody is perfect. If Mom complains, I call and relay that information to Jeani. This agency has been a life-saver, not only for in home, long term care, but also when I used their company for end of life hospice care in their DayBreak facility. Over the past year and a half I have used them for hospice for my father, transportation to/from the hospice for my mother, 24 hour care for my mother (post surgeries), and 7 nights a week for my mother (which continues today). Their caregivers, administrative staff, and ownership have always been excellent and shown the utmost professionalism and can be relied on for guidance. Totally responsive and respective group. Very communicative by phone and email. I am 3000 miles away from my loved one in need so it is critical to have hands-on help on a regular basis. I had the pleasure of using Care Choice Home Care for my parents the last two months. What started as a need for a day or two a week as my mom recovered from surgery; quickly turned into 7/24 care. I called the Care Choice office with this urgent need and they were able to find the care to meet this need ASAP. After a few weeks we were able to scale back to the original two days a week. The office staff was always very helpful when I called with a need or a change. The helpers that came were always ready to assist whether it was light housekeeping to help my mom with lunch, laundry and dinner prep to helping my Dad get around in his walker. Do not go with this facility! One star is actually too many. The are not only unprofessional, but also do not care about their clients. They have been taking care of my grandpa for two years. They gave our family less than 24 hours to find a different caregiving service. Unacceptable! Apparently there were problems that they did not alert the family to. No notice what so ever. Owners should communicate better with families. They didn't even show up half the time. They would call when the caregiver was scheduled to be there. Worst caregiving service ever! read more

She is disrespectful and always seems to have an attitude. Why is this acceptable? I contacted Care Choice immediately when my 81-year old father failed to recover from his triple-by-pass heart surgery. I knew he needed one-to-one private care due to the fact that he is also a Type I Diabetic, double amputee. Since I worked as a caregiver and CNA prior to becoming a nurse, I knew the type of help my father needed had to be professional, thorough, and compassionate. Care Choice met that need from the moment I contacted them. Even prior to signing a contract for care, Care Choice went out to visit my father at the skilled nursing facility to introduce themselves and assess my father's needs so they could match him with the right caregiver/CNA. They wanted to get to know him and establish trust that they would take care of him and invest in his recovery. When my father was ready, they provided immediate care and provided a free nursing assessment. Not only did Care Choice send a qualified staff, they gave special attention to my father's specific needs and my personal requests. Everyday and at any time Care Choice staff are available to me to answer questions, adjust staffing needs, and offer guidance. My father, who is not easy to please, has been very happy with his caregivers; often looking forward to their presence. Just knowing my father is being well cared for has given me and my family great peace of mind. My family and I couldn't imagine going through this time without their help.
