The parking here is more congested and usually more crowded than the Des Plaines location. All Walgreens have a great Senior's Day promo (for age 55+) which is 20% off on everything (except food and liquor) on the first Tuesday of every month. That's a good once-per-month deal. Walgreens is also going private so we'll see what if anything that means for us consumers in the upcoming months.

Jonathan was incredibly patient, kind, and truly went out of his way to help us. Even though he only had about 30 minutes left on his shift, he didn't rush us at all. Jonathan and his shift supervisor worked together to make sure everything was handled smoothly, and we literally just left feeling very pleased. It meant even more because my son was celebrating his 13th birthday today, and thanks to Jonathan's excellent customer service, he left as a very happy shopper. Outstanding service like this deserves recognition -- kudos to Jonathan and the team at Target Rosemont!

They had a hard time understanding my request so I suggested they talk to Walgreens where I've had no problem with this request for years. Bottom line, I asked the manager if I should go elsewhere to get my costly RX refilled and he said maybe I should do that. Wow! No wonder they have such a low rating. They are kind and equally attentive to the laws and regulations which guide and restrict what they can and cannot do as well as the well being of the patient. I had an experience just before a holiday when all the doctors offices were closed and one of my Rx's was restricted by the wording on the prescription order which made the order a bit confusing. They went the extra mile, paged my doctor, got him on speaker and had him clarify a perceived restrictive order meant to be augmentative. No pharmacy has gone the extra mile regularly, placing the patient first while working within their restrictions. They are simply the best, kindest most caring group of pharmacists I have ever encountered and I hope they stay in business for the duration of my pharmaceutical needs. What a joke. My wife was released from the hospital last night. We were going to pick up a script…read morethat the hospital called in. They didn't have it ready so we figured we would pick it up today. I called this morning around 10am & they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went in around 2:30pm and there was a line with about 15 people. When I finally got to the window & requested the script the technician said they were working on it. I mean WTF? I know they're busy but don't tell me it will be ready at 10.30am & more than 4 hrs later you come in and they're just working on it. I still had to wait another 10-15 minutes before the prescription was fillled. My wife had surgery & needed her medications. Im not sure if this is their standard response time but it's one thing when you're getting a refill and you probably have some of your meds in reserve but this was something that shouldn't have taken this long. I won't be going back to this location.
