Waited with a friend who had to go here after getting injured at work. Ease of online check-in/appointment scheduling - but the estimated wait time is way off & continued to be weight off. Twenty minutes was almost three hours. Front desk & healthcare providers were wonderful. The girl the desk was SO patient & helpful with everyone that came through, it was just her & she rocked it... trust me, there were some needy people. Physicians were very personable & helpful. Overall it's pretty clean, but people are messy. The water station was a bit meh. When we came in someone had even left their cup of water on the floor beside the chair & another on the table. I think with how busy they are the staff doesn't get to check on the lobby, maybe add another trashcan... or a larger one. The clinic wasn't dirty but a few lazy people who can't throw stuff away affect the appearance. Hand sanitizer, safety precautions (used pens, new pens etc) & such are put in place. Any time you come here, expect the longest wait you could imagine. Best chance at getting in nowadays is web check in, but even at that you've got to wait an hour or two. Once you finally get checked in, they take you to the back and make you wait another 30-55 minutes for a Doctor to come in, who I'll give my flowers to, she's nice and does her job well. However, they seem to have no sense of urgency here when they know, 1) more than half the people that come in are sick & 2) they're constantly busy. I thought this was supposed to be an "urgent care" ? If you don't have enough Doctors, then get some more or shut down. Period. read more

I HIGHLY ADVISE CHOOSING ANOTHER HEALTHCARE FACILITY This clinic has been around my entire life and my family has gone here for most minor ailments throughout the years. The services they've offered have never been exceptional, but it has typically met our basic needs. After the experience I just had this morning, I can confidently say I will never be returning and advise others to find help elsewhere. A family member had gone to sleep last night with a fever of 101 and woke up with a fever of 104 and a very sore throat. This family member takes herself to this CareNow where they have her wait for nearly 2 hours, and when she is seen, she is told she does not present with a fever despite clearly showing beads of sweat and a radiating heat coming from her forehead. They run tests for common viruses and ailments, which all return negative, including the test for strep throat. They then suggest she needed an EKG because her heart rate is elevated, and based on the results of the test she was advised to be sent to the ER. This was when I had to drop everything, call in from work, and drive an hour to accompany her to the emergency room. After more hours of waiting, her being stuck with needles, and getting scanned, all tests run at the ER concluded her blood and heart are perfectly fine, and that it was strep throat. The PA who saw us was able to identify it the moment she saw my family memeber's mouth, and it was swiftly confirmed with a test for strep. Additionally, her fever was easily identifiable and was documented at over 99 for nearly the entirety of the stay, even after the Tylenol she ingested hours before had taken effect. This CareNow was unable to detect something as simple as a fever and failed to diagnose something as common as strep throat, and in addition sent us to the emergency room where more and more medical costs accumulate. I understand that in order to avoid liability, these kind of facilities are required to advise ER treatment when it comes to any abnormalities of the heart, however we took this advise under the impression that they had given us an accurate assesment of the patient's condition, but they were wrong in EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. They completely disregarded the only 2 abnormal conditions the patient actually presented with (fever and sore throat), and as a result have placed an immense financial burden on my family for a common case of STREP THROAT. PLEASE take your medical concerns elsewhere if you want to feel confident that your health is being properly addressed. read more

I had a great experience with this clinic. I scheduled online and they texted me once they were ready for me to come in. It was a pretty seamless process. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Especially Dr. Porter. She immediately diagnosed me and provided prescriptions for my illness. Web check-in stated I had one person before me, but I watched 3 people get in before me. No big deal, but it I might have well just walked in. My main beef is the redhead P.A. who saw me was REALLY, REALLY rude! I came in hurting and she flipped out when I said she could not see the ulcers in my mouth. My husband went in with severe coughing, congestion, etc. Dr that saw him didn't do any type of swabs, strep, flu, Covid... then proceeded to say it looked like a cold turned bronchitis. Prescribed antibiotics (doesn't work on a virus) and a cough syrup. In and out in less 10 min but made us wait, even with an online appt, for over an hour and a half. This is my very first Yelp review and you should know I am NOT a difficult customer... but O.M.G... this place is the WORST. DO NOT come to this place as a walk-in. My husband came in this morning and they gave him an estimated wait time of TWO HOURS. FOUR hours later, they said the doctor was ready to see him. TWO hours later, the nurse saw him. ONE hour later, the doctor saw him. Now it's been ONE HOUR since he saw the doctor and the nurse still hasn't come back to give him the shot and let him go home. THATS A TOTAL OF EIGHT HOURS WE HAVE BEEN HERE!!! This is an absurd amount of time to wait. Came in because both my shoulders were swollen and tight I could hardly move them. I called at 10:10 and was told there wasn't a wait. I showed up 15 minutes later and was told it would be a 1-1.5 hr wait. Of course I said I literally just called and was told there wasn't a wait the receptionist said all our rooms just got filled up. I opted to wait in the waiting area and not even 25 minutes later did they call me back to be seen. the technicians were all very short and rude. It seemed like no one wanted to be there. I called one of the girls in the hallway and she made eye contact with me and literally walked the opposite direction. I went here today for a pain that has been going on for about 7 months now. Dr. Stephen Wicker was super nice and actually took the time to listen to everything I said. I could tell that he really wanted to figure out what was wrong with me and get to the bottom of it. Very refreshing compared to a lot of doctors today. He gave me some good clues on what next steps I should take and I think he may have actually figured it out. Will have to follow up with some imaging to confirm his suspicions but I appreciate his genuine interest in helping me get to the bottom of it. read more

I can hear the doctors outside the door just having a good old time talking and when I asked how much longer it might be they said, "oh, we have to go in order of how you came in. I was feeling sick on this past Saturday(11/12) and scheduled an online check in for as soon as possible. I get strep every year around this time of year. When I got there I informed them of my medical history and how the rapid strep test would come back negative because it does not test for the strep that I normally get. They of course came back and told me it was negative and would take a culture swab to check for other strands to be safe but they think it's just a "sore throat". They brought me my discharge paperwork which had my incorrect height on there as well as incorrect medication I was taking (not currently taking any). They told me I was good to go. No prescription no recommendations just the paper. I'm a former medic in the army so I requested a steroid shot because I knew I wouldn't be able to get through the next few days without it while I waited for my culture results. That's one thing that was done right that I was able to get that. They called me today (11/18) at 10am to inform me that my culture had came back positive for strep C which is contagious. I had been working because they insisted I was completely fine and it was nothing. I had been self medicating only because of my medical knowledge on how to treat my symptoms. I left work to go to the pharmacy to grab my antibiotics that I needed to be on for 24 hours to no longer be contagious. Well they hadn't called it in yet. I called them they answered and hung up. I called again they answered and said they would get it done in about an hour but they are really busy (sending in a prescription takes 3 minutes at most). I called back at noon to check on the status again and they informed me they were still busy and they would get to it when they could (I have been sick for the past 6 days and have been contagious). I called again at 1pm to check again and they didn't verify my name at first they just said "wait a minute" when they answered. After waiting around 7 minutes they picked up the phone and asked what I needed. I told them I wanted to check on my prescription and gave them my information. They then told me "We just sent it right now but you'll need to wait an hour to pick it up!" Then hung up. Honestly the worst experience ever. read more

Came in with a severe burn on my hand the staff was extremely inconvenienced by me coming in here for medical assistance. They were quick to take my payment but then sat me in a back room for so long that the ice had cooling my burns completely melted and started to blister as I'm sitting in the room. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Initial visit was ok. They have me some meds which helped but wore off in a day or Two. I contacted them to get more meds and the nurse said they would call them in. Talked to them 3 more times and heard the same thing. Promised it would be done before closing time. Location closed and still no meds so now I'm left suffering in pain or with an expensive trip to the er. Don't go here go somewhere that cares. read more

This has become my "go-to" place for medical issues. My regular doctor takes forever to see us when we're sick... but I check in online, and they call me when they are ready to see us - it's fantastic. My daughter burned her leg pretty badly, not enough for an emergency room, but enough to have to see a doctor (2nd degree burns from boiling water on her thigh). They insisted that we come directly in, and brought us in to the triage area immediately. My daughter was taken care of quickly and we were out nearly as quickly. If I can't get in to see my GP, or if it isn't enough to go to the ER - I will always choose CareNow. I've dried other places, but between the insurance nightmare and treatment - this is the place to go. read more

I went to the office to be rudely welcomed by a receptionist who could care less about my condition. She rudely and condescending told me she would call when she was ready and told me to wait in my car. I was shocked by her horrible, disrespectful attitude. I received a call at 11:30 am to head to the clinic. My son was called back to the room just before noon. Well, it's been over an hour and we're still waiting for the doc. One of the girls up front has a zero care attitude. When I asked her about how much longer it would be, she responded "The doctor is really slow. She hasn't even made it to the room yet so there's no telling how long it will be." This is absolutely not acceptable. I definitely should have checked reviews before coming here. Couldn't find the 'now' portion of this clinic. Checked in at 840 for simple lab work, and it's currently 11. Was told by receptionist that the provider was running late.
