So apparently CareNow doesn't take Medicare insurance at all! We were refused service at this location.....we asked just to pay without insurance and they wouldn't accommodate AT ALL. They do take Medicaid.....not sure what all this nonsense is about with CareNow and their so called policies Update 3/13 - I've personal messaged Leecy as requested at CareNow with contact information- still waiting for a call about CareNow refusing service to cash customers who are sick. We have been to this Care Now for years. For the last three years, we have gotten our girls their school physicals here. Today when I walked in i was shocked. I have never been treated so rudely. The young, longer hair blonde up front was so unprofessional with me. I walked in the door with my two daughters. Long story short when I gave her my physical forms she proceeds to question me about if one of the girls is really my child. Then tells me I need to show adoption papers. I'm sorry no I don't! It's no one's business! Do you think adoptive parents walk around with paperwork 24/7. What if my child didn't even know they were adopted? This girl was so stupid and obviously had no knowledge of ethics. She flat out refuses us services. When I go to the back I complain to a nurse. How are you going to see my child that has a different last name as me (biological child) but not the child that shares my last name (adopted child). Is it because your staff feels Mexicans can't adopt? Is that I have one dark child and one light child (adopted child)? Have you never seen light skin, blonde Mexicans? My child was embarrassed and felt like a reject. At the end we were seen probably because I made a scene and complained loudly but no one bothered to apologized. I have gone to this Care Now locations on several occasions. Everyone there was very professional and they got me in and out very quickly when I used Web Check In. If you do go here I highly recommend using Web Check-In first so you're not stuck in the waiting room for a long period of time. I have been treated for Strep, the Flu and a sprained ankle here. When I sprained the ankle they x-rayed it and everything to make sure it wasn't broken and I was in and out of there in about 40 minutes. read more

Did web check in. They called me to come in immediately. Went in and they said it would take 3 hours. They got me in an hour later, after I saw the nurse it was another hour before the PA came. He ordered blood work, when the nurse came in she told me the dr said my shot and x ray was ready but then realized he was talking about the wrong room. She laughed and said that it happens a lot where the nurses there give patients the wrong mess. Honestly this place beats a 6 hour wait at the VA outpatient any day. If you go online and request a spot in line they will call you back, tell you the wait time, and call again when you can come in with minimal wait. Prices are a lot better if you get their in house Healthy Savings Card. read more

I didn't even attempt to be treated by this facility. The other reviews seem to be spot on. First phone call rings for about 3 minutes before I hang up. Second call, I'm put on hold for 27 minutes. Third call (different phone, still on hold from second call) gets picked up immediately and asked how I can be helped. I hung up and went elsewhere. read more

My main issue is their poor check in procedure; it's happened on more than one occasion. I make my online check in.. I get my check in confirmation at 3:50pm.. I'm told the wait is a hour to hour and a half... 610pm rolls around and I'm finally getting called back. Then I get to the clinic quickly and still have to wait 20 min to be seen. I also wish they would do BASIC math when giving a prescription. If my follow up is in 7 days.. You give me a Rx for 20 pills to take every 4-6 hours. So say I go with every 6 hours... That's 4 pills a day.. My Rx is for 20.. 20 divided by 4 is 5.. 5 days worth of medicine but my follow up isn't for 7 days. At my follow up you give me the same prescription.. Or you give me 30 pills to take 3 times a day. So I have 10 days worth of pills but 2 weeks between check ups. The staff is friendly and personable but I don't feel they tell you what's wrong. I injured my ankle and knee.. They came in after X-rays and said, "it's not broke." That was my diagnoses. Nobody told me I could have torn tendons or ligaments. Nobody told my if I strained this or that. It wasn't until physical therapy that I found out that when I got hurt I most likely injured this tendon and etc etc. I never got a clear diagnoses from CareNow. read more

I had an unexpectedly pleasant visit to CareNow this evening. I used the online checkin function which saved me 2.5 hours of waiting time (highly recommend using the online checkin-- they call you when they are just about ready for you). I still waited about an hour in the lobby, which is the only reason this review is 4 stars and not 5. All staff members including the nurse and Doctor were exceptionally friendly, patient, and attentive. I was shocked! I saw Dr. Imes and she was very thorough and very nice. The facility was very clean and appeared to have all the latest technology. The price was about what I would expect when paying for a doctor's visit with no insurance. No complaints there. My entire experience from online checkin to checkout was outstanding, save the one hour lobby wait. Thanks for great service-- I will be back! read more

Do not go to this clinic! It is the worst place! From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor, they are all rude, unfriendly and do not care about what you are going through! They don't know the meaning of customer service! Checked in online at 11am for arrival at 12, got there at 12 and they said it would still be about 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait! There was my 17 year old son and I in the room with the doctor. The doctor left and we had NO IDEA what he said or what the diagnosis was!! I came in to get a sports physical for my daughter and was told to fill out the necessary paperwork and they would get us back. When we arrived there was no one in the waiting room. By the time I finished filling out the paperwork there was 3-4 people now waiting. I waited over an hour in their disgusting lobby. When I asked how much longer it would be they said there was one person in front of us. We waited another 15 minutes and then they took us back. After checking her vision they put us in a room and we waited another 45 minutes. I asked several times how much longer it would be and was told there was still one person in front of us. After waiting over two hours for a physical I went back out to the reception area and asked them how much longer I would have to wait and told them that our room was not clean. A nurse from the back came out and told me that there was still one person in front of us and did nothing about the dirty room. I am STILL waiting as I type this! I checked in online sick with an upper Respiratory infection I'm in a lot of pain and didn't want to spend hrs at the medical center where everyone's sick too. They told me it would be hour, to a hour and half to get seen. They call me I'm at 1:20 mins later but when I get there I waited almost an hour to get called back. To then get told it was going to still be hour plus before a doctor came in. When you live 3 mins away and check in online why do u make people wait 2 plus hours there when their weak and can rest and wait at home! I always have problems at this location I'll stick with Grapevine's. The most ridiculous part is I tried to ask these questions and was told that's just the way it is! I was also ignored for over an hour before I asked what was going on.They had forgotten I was there waiting in my room. I then had to call them back a week later for some results. There were only 2 other people in the lobby. U go back, wait 30 min for doctor, wait 30 min for results of a strep test, wait 30 min to get a shot, then wait in lobby AGAIN 30 more min to pay. Was seen promptly last night to get my lacerated thumb stitched up. Waited so long for a nurse to bandage it that the doctor just did it herself. Told to come back for a recheck today. Checked in online at 1pm, told wait was 2 hours. Called me at 2:55 and told me I was good to head to office. Not put in a room until 4. Waited until 5 before I got bandaids from the drawer myself, recovered the wound and walked out without seeing a provider at all. You can do better, Care Now. read more

I had what I was pretty sure was an upper respiratory infection. I did the web check in around 9am. I called at noon to see how many patients were ahead of the. They said 5 and that it would be about an hr and they'd call me when my room was ready. Come 1 oclock i still hadn't heard from them. So I call again and ask how many are ahead of me and she says 9! I asked her how were there more people ahead of me now?! She couldn't give an answer other than "we take walks up first". Then what is the point of web check in?! I called the CareNow in Lake Worth and they told me to come on in. They were awesome! I can't imagine if I had be running fever how upset I would have been waiting for HOURS. read more

People come because they aren't feeling well, so if the staff would move with a tad more urgency that would be great. Nice enough, but slower than molasses! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the nursing staff are injecting medicine per CareNow policy and the technique is the preferred method of administration. My injection was given ventrogluteal as opposed to gluteal. This method is less painful but more importantly, avoids accidental injury to the sciatic nerve. This is the first medical care facility that this was the standard. Bravo! And better yet, their staff knew what it was all about and how to correctly identify the site. read more

This Care Now has improved greatly. It was rough when they first opened. The doctors have always been great it was the front office help that needed some attention. I can tell they have noticed that. My last couple visit have been very courteous and professional. I was seen quickly by the doctor and didn't have to wait long once I was called in to the office. Keep it up!! read more

Just finished up with the "follow up" appointment for my wife for a kidney infection. She was suppose to get the second of two shots and be done. Instead, she saw a different PA who didn't read the chart before walking in the room, ignored everything that was done the previous day including the DIAGNOSIS. He then did a blood test that was 100% unnecessary and then suggested we do x-rays. This carenow or the business in general is focused on profits and not on patient care. We refused the x-Ray and then to top things off, were improperly billed for them. After two hours, no second shot, the sole purpose for our follow up appointment. We just got home, did some simple research and found out the medicine she was prescribed yesterday is NOT supposed to be prescribed for the kidney infection she was diagnosed with. That. Is. Was told that they mixed up her number with someone else and that is why she never got a call back. The computer system was down for hours so I guess they can't function or do anything.
