Would give a 0 or -1 if possible. I had scheduled an appointment Sunday and talked to the receptionist about my symptoms and she told me that was something they were able to help with. I was called around 10 am and told they didn't have a provider to see me and that my appointment was canceled. Then I made a video appointment on Monday and was never contacted at all. Since this was the only office I could find that was available near me, I made another appointment on Tuesday. My check in time was 1 pm. I was called into the office at 2:45 pm. By the time I got there, there were multiple people in the waiting room that were visibly upset. Two of them ended up complaining and walking out stating they had been in the waiting room for hours. I wasn't taken back until 3:50pm. I waited almost another hour before a nurse came in and took my blood pressure and heart rate. The whole time I was waiting I could hear the staff talking crap about patients and other staff members. A provider finally came in at around 5:40. I tried to explain what was going on and a few symptoms I had noticed but she stopped me and asked what the main thing that was bothering me. I told her nausea and generally feeling unwell. She then preformed a physical exam and told me to calm down because my heart rate was high. At this point I was afraid to tell her that was another symptom as she made me feel so low about myself already. They ran some pretty pointless tests (pregnancy, COVID, and a drug screen) all of which were negative just like I told her they would be. She then proceeded to tell me it was her medical opinion that I go to the ER immediately for more tests and if I didn't I could face serious complications or even death. After telling her I didn't feel that was necessary she began pressuring me to go and making me feel worse. I then told her I felt very mislead as I had asked the receptionist a bunch of questions about this appointment, and she told me it was my fault for listening to her and that she wasn't a medical professional. She made me sign a document saying I was refusing her medical opinion and sent me away. I walked out of the office at exactly 7:13 pm. I went to a real doctor the next day and was told my blood sugar was low. $160 copay got me no answers and left feeling completely degraded and questioning whether I really had a problem or not. The next day I was able to find a real doctor who told me it was just low blood sugar and that with a healthy diet I would feel better. This was a complete waste of time and money and I will never be coming back. If you're looking for a real doctor that will listen, the staff at Total Care Family Practice are absolutely amazing and my copay was $50 less! read more

It was her birthday and I mentioned I'm sorry you had to work today. She replied saying how much she loved working here with such wonderful people. She wouldn't want to ever work anywhere else. I went in today to have my throat looked at, because it felt like something was lodged in there; however, I could eat, breathe, and drink without too much issue. It was an issue that had been going on for awhile, and I had made an appointment with an ENT for this week. However, it was uncomfortable enough that I had to have it looked at before. I drove to the office and explained the symptoms to the receptionist, asking if this is something they could look at, to which she said yes. I paid the $125 consultation fee up front (no insurance), and then I met with the on site physician who could not help, saying I needed to see a specialist. He spent a few minutes with me total, explained what the issues could be, but ultimately, he could not diagnose it, so he said I need to go see an ENT, which I already had planned on doing. This review is for being told they could look at my issue, only to take my money and then say they can't. If someone had said there was a possibility I may need to see a specialist and that they couldn't help, I would have at least understood the risk. I was clear explaining it to the receptionist and in describing my throat issue, it was clear it could have been beyond what they can look at. I've never been to an Urgent Care, so even after reviewing their website, I wasn't 100% on what their scope is. At the end of the day, it's all about money. I called later to explain my issue, and I was told a manager would call me back. Even if they do, I don't expect to get my money back, that's just how it is. I didn't have to wait long at all and was diagnosed with acute bronchitis. The Asian male doctor gave me three medications. They billed my insurance. The medications didn't help me according to my physician and they weren't able to to tell me my deductible and it was a weekend so I couldn't call my insurance company. I have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and this seemed awfully shady to me. Still haven't received a bill but my insurance company statement says after what they pay out of $250 I owe $187. I read on Yelp walk-ins pay $125. Probably won't go back unless it's resolved to my satisfaction. Why do uninsured lawbreakers pay half price. The front office and nurse were very kind, and it was a clean facility. However, being an uninsured patient, the doctor was trying to run a number of unnecessary tests that I could not afford. She was extremely aggressive (poor "bedside" manner) and treated me poorly, insulting me. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I use this urgent care and it's a nightmare. 1) the doctor asked one question and then wrote a prescription. There was no chance for me to ask questions. 2) they sent my lab to the wrong laboratory and now I am billed for their mistake. 3) I reached out to them regarding my bill. They asked me to call their new accounts payable department which they have no record of. Then I was told to call this other place which they don't pick up the phone or return any of my calls. Questions: 1) My insurance is exclusive with a certain laboratory and it's stated in big letter and logo on my insurance card. Why did they sent it to someone else? 2) It's there mistake, why am I the one paying for their mistake? 3) When I called you back at the clinic telling you that your new accounts payable department doesn't have records or can't help me with the situation, why isn't the clinic calling the accounts department and provide them the information? I have been to other urgent cares before this one. They never made this kind of mistakes. Then he gave me false information about what was going to happen in the following days of why I was there. My daughter and i visited this facility in August 2021 for a covid test for travel purposes only. When we got there for our appointment we were told we have to see the doctor and we were charge an office visit charge with a copay of $35 each. I told the receptionist it was not necessary since we needed the covid for travel purposes only. also the appointment was made for this purpose only. She told us it's their office policy. It was too close to our travel dates and we had no choice but to go ahead with what they said. After we took the covid test a lady walked to the room, told us our tests were negative and left, no introduction but she was wearing a white coat so maybe she was a doctor. A office visit to see a doctor requires a doctor to exam a patient, do an H&P and diagnose a patient. This unethical practice was implemented just to charge for an additional service that was unrequested, and unnecessary. Maybe this is called insurance fraud!? read more

I had a knee injury from snowboarding recently and of course waited too long and in pain to get treated at UCE. My main service provider could not get me in and recommended I go to an Urgent Care and i found the one nearest to me in Anthem. while there were quite a few folks in lobby I waited far shorter than any visit to my primary care provider and received amazing service from Tysha at the front desk, Moses the XRay guy, and especially Nicole Watson the Physician's Assistant (PA-C) I hate calling her anything but Doctor Watson as she is amazing and deserves the title. In any event, you will not feel like your are in a clinic at this place as it is modern up to date furnishings with more importantly the best health care professionals there to treat you. I'm currently waiting in the waiting room of urgent care extra. I'm running a high fever and am having asthma attacks, and I have been waiting here an hour and a half. Slowest urgent care I've ever been to! I need to be in bed, not sitting here in their office for forever. They get one star for having a friendly staff and one for style--the office is admittedly beautiful. Was just admitted to a patient room where the paper on the examination table hadn't been changed and the nurse did a poor job taking my temp. Wait time was an hour long even though we were second in line. We saw the P.A. for five minutes tops and were sent on our way! I was able to check in online, which made my wait time very short (about 10 minutes in the waiting room), and all the staff, from the receptionist (Renell/Alexis) to the medical assistant that took my info (Robert), to the provider that saw me (Sean Gupton) were very pleasant, and helpful. First time here and I was expecting the usual: grouchy, mean reception desk, dirty, ghetto azz place, long wait, horrible doctors and nurses with zero compassion. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. My experience here was none of those things. I was there Saturday night, not feeling well at all. It wasn't busy but there was a steady stream of patients going in and out of the clinic. I waited maybe 40 minutes before I was called to the back. Not bad at all. The lady that took my vitals was kind. I really liked the nurse, Nancy. She was compassionate and listened. I was suffocating and they checked my oxygen levels to make sure that it was not an emergency. I had to wait some time but its understandable due to Flu season. So nobody likes going to urgent care, especially me. But taking a 19-month-old baby to urgent care is never pleasant experience. But I did it anyway because my son woke up with green goo dripping from his eyes. Needless to say I called they excepted my insurance and there was no wait time. So it started off pleasant. I arrive and the office is clean and smells fresh! That's always a plus. I give the receptionist all my sons info and I get places in an exam room instantly! Sooo far so good. The nurse takes my sons temp and history and then within 5 minutes the FNA?¿ comes In.. What is that title? Is that a doctor? Is that a nurse practitioner? I have no clue! He asks about my son current fever which I clearly put in the history that has not had four days. When I politely correct him and say that he's presenting complaint is not the kind of gave me a dirty and condescending look. I wasn't too happy. We proceeded to go over my son history of allergies as well as atopic dermatitis and eczema. So far other than the rude comments and bad luck this is going as if it's a normal office visit. Then we start getting to the nitty-gritty. The doctor or Fna (whatever that is)asks about his vaccine history. I Explain I have chosen not to vaccinate him right away because of his allergies and he's not around any other children at the moment. Holy battle of Jericho! (Insert trumpet sounds here and war drums.) The (whatever the gentleman was) said " is he here?! Is he out of the house!" I kindly look at him and I smile and say yes he is I'll vaccinate him later. A little background on me I've been in the veterinary medical business for over 10 years. iPhone three hospitals and currently own other animal business real related. I know about vaccines and I know about immune response and I also know that it's not a good idea to vaccinate a baby who has an exorbitant amount of allergies. At that point he continues with the exam, is very direct but nice and tells me the diagnosis. He gives me meds and I leave. It wasn't horrible and it wasn't great. He seemed to be a good doctor but too direct and abrubdt. He needs and be a little more personable . But I'll go back if I have to. As far as price, they except my insurance so I can't complain. I typically grab my sisters phone when it comes time to write a review, but the experience I had here today prompted me to finally use my own account. I've been here once before and was seen fairly quickly. I had some chest X-rays and was sent home with some antibiotics, after receiving a shot that I'm fairly certain I shouldn't have driven after (but I'm not a doctor, so...). Today, I brought my mother in after walk-ins at a different urgent care were no longer being accepted for the day. When we got here, one of the front desk girls was pleasant and the other was her polar opposite. Obviously the people that are in the waiting room are here because they don't feel well- no need to make it worse with your unfriendly demeanor and terrible attitude. Two people left while we were waiting to be seen because of the wait. After waiting ourselves for about an hour and a half, I asked the nicer of the girls how long she thought it would be until my mom was seen. Before she could speak, a third unpleasant woman rounded the corner and said there was no way of knowing because people take different amounts of time depending on their illnesses. Yes...thank you. Do you have a room you can put her in so she isn't curled up miserably on a little chair in a bright, loud, waiting area? Without hesitation, she says "nope!" When we were finally brought back, the gentleman who was helping us offered my mother a wheel chair and asked one of the girls why they didn't bring my mom back to the room reserved for patients suffering from migraines (a quiet, dark room like I asked for? Hm); to which she responded she didn't know...the same man brought my mom ice for her head, a pillow and blanket. He is the only reason this place even deserves the one star they have. We are now still sitting in a room with little more than her blood pressure taken while 5 staff members gossip at the desk just outside the door... We won't be back. read more

Paid $125 as a co-pay for a cut on my spouse's arm. Doctor came in a took one look at it (less than 2 minutes) and told us we needed to go to ER bc cut was too deep. Now they refuse to give us a refund because they said we were still given "advice" and was "seen" by the doctor. Seriously? My spouse is in the lobby talking to the doctor who AGREES with us that we should not have been charged. The staff is attempting to "call" to help us out but no calls are being returned and all the staff whats to do is give us a # to call and try and see about a refund. If you can, go to another location and ask BEFORE you be seen. They will threaten to call the police on you if you have an issue with their policies. read more

Sheena at the front desk was so helpful and nice, I signed in online and they called me at home so I could wait in somewhat comfort until the appointment. I needed care when my primary physician was off duty and was thrilled with the service and care received here. Check in was efficient. I was brought back within minutes and was told how many patients were ahead of me. The physician was courteous and professional. He explained everything and answered all questions. I was in and out in a little over 30 minutes - including an X-ray! At no time did I feel rushed. I highly recommend this urgent care center. read more

So disappointed with my experience at this location. The doctor and nurse both disregarded my previous medical history and as a result misdiagnosed me. The nurse was at least friendly, but the doctor was condescending and patronizing. He also prescribed medication which I had indicated on my paperwork I was allergic to. On the upside, the front desk was very pleasant and efficient. Nevertheless, I won't come back here.
