Since then, they've been steadily expanding their services to become a full blown primary care facility. What sets them apart from similar places is that they offer appointments 7 days a week with the option to do virtual visits for certain issues. The onsite pharmacy makes it extra convenient if you need a prescription filled after the appointment. So now that I have gotten the positives out of the way, it's time to talk about why I'm giving them 3 stars. First of all, there's no way to choose the provider you will be seeing. Basically, it's whoever is on duty. There have been times when I've seen genuinely caring, wonderful people, while other times I get treated like a number or worse. If I'm already feeling bad, the last thing I need is a surly, judgmental NP snapping at me! Also, in the past they would do blood draws, if necessary, during your appointment. But for some reason that was discontinued. These days they make you go to an outside facility, like Quest, for any blood work, which of course requires a separate appointment. The majority of my visits are for the sole purpose of getting a refill on a medication that I take on a regular basis. I'm always told before I leave that it's been sent to their pharmacy. About half the time though, I discover later on that the pharmacy never received it. I don't know if the providers fail to send prescriptions sometimes or there's a computer glitch or what. All I know is that I have to track down someone to resubmit it. Although things may be unpredictable and inconsistent here, it's not to the extent (yet) that I wouldn't come back.

Came in to see me in less than 5 minutes and obviously possessed a plethora of medical knowledge. This being a delayed reaction, it isn't an easy case to identify and treat. Very happy I came here.

A family member of mine visited this facility during 3rd shift (sometime between 2a-3a) this week…read moreand was treated terribly. They went in and was not greeted properly or taken seriously. The male nurse at the check-in desk made him feel as if he didn't belong there because he didn't "look sick." When my family member got to the back, he was given a breathing treatment and was left in the room over 20 minutes after it completed. He also told the healthcare provider that he hadn't eating in over 10 hours and they still proceeded to give him medication that needed to be taken with food. When he got back home, he was vomiting all over the place. When he got his diagnosis, the male nurse (same person who checked him in) was surprised! He shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. Just because a person doesn't look well does not mean they don't feel well in their body! Again, he was made to feel as if he just wandered in there off the street. We have wonderful insurance (even if we did not, it shouldn't make a difference b/c healthcare providers should treat each person the same). This family member is a college student in his senior year and needed the help and what does he get? Mistreatment and prejudice! I told him to not visit this place again; at least not on the 3rd shift. The people there obviously didn't want to do their jobs! High reviews? How? I'm very concerned for my family member to get care being so far from home while in college. THIS is why I worry because of people like this! Shame on you, "Total" Care.

In the state I used to live in, it seemed difficult to get any treatment or medicines for any condition that was not textbook/routine. I haven't had that problem here. Everyone listens and is driven to find a solution that works for me. Dr. Pearch is surprisingly knowledgable about my medical conditions (which are neither terribly common nor unheard of, but the medical knowledge about them has evolved significantly in the past decade). I was used to being an enigma and having to be the one to stay on top of medical research, but this clinic is helpful. Or shall I say competent. They are also very compassionate, especially after I had a miscarriage and kept bursting into tears during appointments. That said, Dr. Pearch is very popular, and it might be difficult to score an appointment slot, so be prepared to see the other medical professionals at this clinic.

I finally convinced my husband to go here and he got a different doctor because he was a new patient and Dr. Pearch is usually pretty booked up. He really liked the doctor he had and will continue with her. I can't remember who he saw. I don't think you can go wrong with who you see. Even though Dr. Pearch is booked, she always has slots open for followups and things. I've never had a problem getting in to see her. The office staff has always been extremely nice and the office is very clean and easy to get to. They are close to a lab so when you need lab work you don't have to go far. I like that they use online chart system so you can quickly see your history and lab results. This might be typical or standard now but before coming here I hadn't experienced that. All of her referrals have been wonderful. I am very happy with my experiences here.

I've never wanted to leave a place so fast in my life. I don't even know the doctor who saw me…read morebecause he didn't give me his name. Isn't that insane? No introduction. He could have been a random guy off the street for all he acted like a doctor. I came in due to unexplained bleeding after a week of immense pain and arm numbness. I had surgery for endometriosis and fibroids eight weeks ago. The treatment I received was abysmal. Some highlights -- "I'm worried about the bleeding, I know the pain in my back may be normal due to my illness. I just want to make sure I'm not having a stroke or anything." "You can't have a stroke in your lower abdomen." "What pain meds are you taking?" "I've been taking both Tylenol and Ibuprofen every two hours because I'm in so much pain." "You should try Aleve." Woah, no way? Aleve? Hold the phone. I never thought of that. Then he gives me a paper that says not to take Aleve because it'll cause me to bleed more. Uh oh. And a paper to explain what a painful heavy period is! To someone with a chronic reproductive disease. I still can't decide what part of this visit was the most disrespectful or condescending. It's a hard one. He looked at my surgical scars at one point, asked if I had a fibroid removed like he didn't believe me, and then stated that typically fibroids are removed from a larger incision. I was told he can't support or help with anything gyno related, but somehow he's an expert on laparoscopies and thinks he can criticize my surgeons work when he didn't even listen to a single thing I'd said to him since I'd been there. Did he think I was lying about getting a fibroid removed? Probably. They took my blood pressure multiple times and I, a healthy individual ACCORDING TO HIM, could not get Systolic pressure under 155. When I got there ONE SEVENTY FIVE. A cardiac episode is 180. He told me it's probably the pain. Wait, so the Aleve I took this morning isn't working? What? You said that should help. Why is my arm numb from my shoulder to my fingers? Who knows. Obviously not him. I think his excuse was that I laid on it wrong. Why has it been hurting since Friday night? A medical mystery. My insurance is paying thousands of dollars so Sherlock Holmes can tell me I laid on my arm wrong. I finally gave up trying to advocate for myself and just agreed with him so I could go home. I got no answers for my pain or my bleeding. He thinks I'm fine! So healthy. I can't believe my insurance is going to have to pay for this. The only reason I got meds in IV for my pain while I was waiting for my blood work was because I cried in front of my nurse and he advocated for me. I was the only person there at 4:30am this morning and seriously you would think I was one of 100 in that ER with how I was treated. I had to get up to go the bathroom and wouldn't you know, he was standing around doing absolutely nothing. The only person who cared about me was my nurse. Strangers that hold the door open for me in public show me better care, respect, and compassion than this DOCTOR who literally gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do care for people in their time of need. Like what a spit in the face. And for what? I just wanted help. If I have a cardiac event or god forbid a stroke between now and Monday when I see my general doctor, I will find this hospital at fault. I am still not over how even an EKG wasn't even at least offered. That's standard practice with symptoms I displayed. Thankfully tomorrow is Monday so I can actually go to my general doctor that cares if I live or die. My discharge instruction was to lose weight. :) pain? No you're just a fat pig. EDIT FOR STAFF WHO READ THIS - If you are not the doctor who talked to me like a dog than don't apologize for him please. I don't want an apology, you've done nothing wrong. The rest of your staff was amazing. Either fire him or teach him social skills so he doesn't make another woman cry. To my nurse and the front desk gentleman if you read this, thank you for your kindness. I needed that to offset the ugliness.

Make your appointment online. I'm generally happy and refreshed by how I'm treated by the nurse practitioners here who are professional, good at their jobs, and with good bedside manner. I could tell she had a heart for service and has probably dealt with this awful disease but she went the extra mile for everyone who came in. Holding the door for us. He only went here because no one is taking BCBS anymore. Now he is waiting a week to get in with one of the few ENT Dr that will still take BCBS. This trip to the only Urgent Care in FM on BCBS was not a good move. Next time pay cash pay at another Urgent Care that doesn't just shrug their shoulders.
