The interior of the car was in really good condition with very minor damage such as the headrests and the arm rests and exterior damage was just a couple scratches but honestly for a 2013 Lexus with 103k miles is a STEAL. Carfam provided us with spare keys and carted reports of all the detailed maintenance which was much appreciated! Carfam even included an extra $20 on them for you gas! **To preface: I did NOT buy a car from them today** I had the opportunity to meet Val who was the associate who showed me the car that I have been interested in. She was very cordial and made sure to get to know me and see why I wanted to possibly purchase this particular vehicle After test driving the vehicle, we discussed about pricing for it. Although I did like the car, it wouldn't fit my budget. Magic, the manager, stepped in to assist us with keeping the numbers reasonable for both parties I believe both Val and Magic tried their best to keep the cost down as much as possible and get my "out-the-door" price as low as it could get. However, the final number didn't work out for me and was unfortunately out of my price range Nonetheless, despite not buying the car, I had a good experience with both Val and Magic. They were not pushy at all nor did they try to gaslight me on me trying negotiate. I know buying a car is not the most enjoyable experience for most people, I actually had a great one even if I didn't purchase anything from them. the biggest nightmare and most frustrating time of my entire life after purchasing a vehicles from this company. I warn whoever is seeking to purchase or lease or finance a car from CarFam Rialto to please do your research and seek business elsewhere! What has been done to me as far as communication and the vehicle or lemon, i should say and the way this business has treated me since my purchase I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. My sales agent whom goes by the name "Val" presented herself as kind and helpful at first, but eventually showed that she was not fully trained or prepared over time and lacked empathy or understanding once the sale was completed. the unprofessionalism from each employee I communicated with was similar. Another employee by the name of Polly seemed to be the only person whom showed a sense of urgency& willingness to get to the root of any issues that came about, although there was still small areas of miscommunication between her & other staff. I purchased a vehicle from this business mid August 2025 about 3 months ago and it was about 12 days after my purchase that a coolant/ anti freeze leak was found, this is when red flags arose& my concerns were shared with CarFam and after speaking with them I made the decision to cancel the extended warranty that I also purchased from them for $2,000. Following this issue with the vehicle, a month later there was a cracked hose found when getting a standard oil change done on the vehicle, costing me more money. - Now during this time, I had already gone back to CarFam in person as they requested, to cancel my extended warranty, paperwork was signed and submitted... or so I thought, I called them back about a month later to check the status because I had spoken to the warranty company directly and they had no knowledge or information pertaining to a cancellation associated with my policy, name and vehicle & I was told by "Val" that all communications must be done via email only and no one at the establishment old help me via phone. This made me a bit uneasy as that needed and required me to come in person for certain things & sometimes speaking over phone, yet when I had a simple question or inquiry, I was rushed off the phone to email and wait for however long to receive a reply with a simple yes or no to my question. I still wanted to speak with someone higher up & this is where the unprofessional experience came about with Val. I later spoke with Polly whom got me over to one of their managers, "Irvin" and he was a bit more helpful in responding and relating to solving any issues regarding this cancellation. - i think there was only one time where i was to receive a call back and did not, however he remained professional and helpful at all times. Still awaiting my extended warranty refund, another issue arose with My car. October 30, 2025 is when I once again took my vehicle purchased from CarFam Rialto to be ran for further diagnostics, due to unusual sounds and vehicle operation. It was this day that I found out the vehicle intake manifold &the valve cover would need to be removed& replaced, the mechanics also informed me that the engine in my vehicle was not the original and was recently changed out. Mind you this service and labor cost me over $1,200.00 not to mention the previous service costs I had to pay for right after purchasing this vehicle. Fast forward to today, after receiving my warranty refund in the mail via check attempting to have it verified by the business also became another nightmare, after the associate at the business I had gone to to cash the check spoke with someone from CarFam TWICE (the second time being a manager) she was told ( as i stood right in front of her while the call was on speaker phone, that the person in charge of verification for this would not be back into the car dealership until about an hour later, once about 45 minutes of waiting, I called myself to check that they were back or not and was once again let down with the lack of professionalism and attentiveness and communication of the staff and management, one person told me "oh we never received a call" and another manager by the name of "Magic" said no one would be in to verify until tomorrow after the holiday, mind you at this point i have already been waiting the full hour as we were previously told and instructed to do by a CarFam Rialto& To the manager "Magic" that hung up on me and admitted to it and to the sales agent "Val" shame on you both, you treated me awful and disgusting and I can only pray and hope that you do better in the future and are better trained and prepared for any situation that may arise with a paying customer. To the entire company at CarFam Rialto, shame on you for selling me a vehicle w/ all of these issues. You don't treat people like this and your establishment should not be in business. I saw a car with this company recently , appeared to be a great car online. Went in to check the car out & it had issues I wasn't willing to take on. So I decided not to get the car. The company tells me that if I want the issues fixed with the car I need to pay an extra fee on top of the sale price. This doesn't make sense being that I didnt bring the car in, I didn't cause the issues to the car. This should be something the company fixes themself before selling to ANYONE. Make sure before leaving our agreeing to anything such as running credit and signing papers to check everything with the car you're interested in, also have some research done on common things that go wrong with said car. I purchased my Jeep on July 28th 2023. Initially I was ecstatic. I've left a great review on a couple other sites. I will now update it. The vehicle is great and the issues I had were minor. I didn't mind fixing them on my own. But today is March 3rd 2024 and I have yet to receive my license plate. At the time of my purchase I still have a few months on my personalized tag. They stated that they weren't sure how to transfer that to my new Jeep. I would need to do the new tag paperwork through them. I got a temp tag that was good until the mid October. I went to the DMV and ordered a new personal tag that would have a new date and would last a year as usual. That new tag processed and became available to me for pick it up months later. The DMV wouldn't release it to me because CarFam had not completed it's portion of the sale paperwork. I was told that CarFam was still waiting for the title from the auction. I accepted that reason and continued to wait. I have now moved to Another state and have no tags. The personal plates I purchased in CA are now more money lost because I need to legally buy SC plates. I can't even get those until the original ones are given to me. I've forwarded this story several times with no outcome. Each time is contains less detail because I'm tired of typing it! This sounds like the same thing that happened at Carmax with another vehicle I purchased. Do Not sell a car if you don't have the title. I've been told that the dealership has 45 days to take care of it. The nonchalantness of their response leads me to believe that this is probably a regular practice. Are there no consequences for this? I've gone ahead and file a complaint with the BBB. This is def bad business. read more

PLEASE READ so you, too, DON'T GET SCREWED! I walked out of the dealer just before sunset on a Friday with the last words from the car sales man (Gerardo) being "Perfect, we will have our mechanic look at the van first thing on Monday so you can pick it up in the after noon!" *Hand shake*. I receive a phone call the following Sunday evening at 4:30PM with the same car salesmen apologizing cause they had just SOLD MY VAN. His words were, "Sorry, I was waiting to make sure the sale was final before calling you to tell you but the van sold about 20 minutes ago." WHY WOULD YOU SELL MY VAN AND NOT EVEN TELL ME THAT THAT WAS GOING ON?! I request to speak the manager- IRVIN, proceeds to tell me that the van sold the day before, on a Saturday.... LIE #2! He gave me the "I'll do what ever I can to get you a deal and won't make any money off of the sale and I'll even show you"... I followed every other day the following week with little communication back. the next week, the same thing.... LIE #3! Week pass and I haven't heard back from "CarFam" until they start hitting me up "Are you still in the market for a car?" I ask them to take me off their car list. "Ok sir no problem."... LIE #4. another week goes by... "Are you still in the market for a car or want to trade in your CRV? [which they only wanted to give me $700 trade in value for in the original deal for the van- KBB estimates it at $6,500]" At this point I ask to speak with Irvin again and ask to be removed from the list. He says he will make sure it happens... Should I believe him? NO. I ask him if I can speak with his manager and he tells me that this other manager will take care of removing me from the call list cause at this point I am tired of being harassed by their sales people. So I ask to clarify, "Is this person above you?....silence... "It is not a hard question, she above you or not? "No she is not." LIIIIEEESS. LIES ON LIES ON LIES. He finally gives me MAGICS email [the owner] after I verify online that this info is true.... MAGIC, I hope you are not as shady as the team that is running your sales floor. read more
