That kind of customer service goes a long way and is unfortunately not something you always find at a car dealership. It's now a company acts when everything is going great, it's how they act when something goes wrong and they handled it better than I imagined. The entire experience left me feeling like they genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my purchase. I would absolutely recommend Fontana Hyundai and would be happy to buy from them.

BUT I checked the VINs, which matched, and he backtracked saying he was new and didn't know. Second, the prices advertised online are not what you will actually pay. The dealership adds thousands in "dealer accessories" that were already installed (original sticker in glove box!) leaving you no real choice but to pay for them. This inflated our out-the-door pricing dramatically. Example: 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport (Intense Blue) * Internet listed price: $17,938 * Out-the-door: $24,350 * Original sticker listed the features now being "added on" by the dealer That's a dramatic increase and feels like classic bait-and-switch tactics. McKinley Grant was aggressive and apparently did not want to sell a single car to us that day. (We later bought two cars at Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos!) On top of that, this nearly new vehicle had a faulty seatbelt--a serious safety issue and probably illegal to sell. A car with known defects should not even be offered for sale until fixed which was not offered. This experience felt dishonest and unsafe. Further to that, one of the staff started photographing the car and discussed within earshot of everyone that the car was sold over the phone. Very deceptive. I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere. Should've checked Yelp beforehand as this seems to be a pattern. By contrast, I visited Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos. Check my review. Not only did they sell me the car listed on the internet for the actual price, I decided to buy a second car in the same transaction.

Roberto referred to me as "picky," then looked at my husband and called me "spoiled." When I explained that my husband does not buy my things and that I purchase and pay for my own car myself, the response I received was, "Oh, you can do that?" To make matters worse, I asked to work with the salesperson Traveron I had previously worked with months ago and was absolutely amazing , but I was refused and told he "doesn't know the product." The entire interaction felt dismissive and sexist. Women are fully capable of making their own financial decisions and purchasing vehicles without needing a husband's approval or involvement. I expected professionalism and respect and received neither.

From the second we arrived, Steven Trevino was an absolute lifesaver. He was honest, deeply sincere, and highly communicative. Unlike our previous experience where everything was just shady "word-of-mouth," Steven and his team actually took the time to fully inspect our car and wrote down *every single detail* perfectly. They completely exposed the fraudulent diagnosis we were given elsewhere. Steven's technicians proved our steering rack was perfectly fine and instead found the real culprits: separated lower control arm bushings and a steering angle sensor error. Steven handled everything professionally, getting those factory defects completely repaired under our warranty for $0.00! (The other dealership Valley Hi Nissan, Victorville, CA) had forced us to drive on a failing suspension, our front tires were completely ruined, but Steven got us sorted out with brand new tires and a precision alignment. I just picked up the car, and it drives as good as new. I would love to come here again. Citrus Ford refused to help me. Communication is terrible, as others have noted. They use middle men to make it difficult to get help. No one was rude to me, I'll give them that. But no one was willing to step in and make it right; everyone passively shrugged and said "yea that sucks" as if it happens to new Fords all the time. I guess maybe it does! I spoke with the service manager, a sales rep, one tech and all three assured me that it's absurd to expect a customer to cover a nearly $8000 power-train repair on a truck this new. I applied for Ford's "Goodwill Assistance" program but was told I do not qualify and that they couldn't tell me why. I was offered a $1,500 discount (the price they charged me to diagnose) IF I completed the nearly $8000 worth of work, but I declined to give them any more of my money. I walked away; they got $1000 and I got a truck that doesn't work. If you're a loyal, paying customer, this is what it gets you here: a defective vehicle, a runaround, and a massive bill with zero accountability. Do yourself a favor and take your business to a dealership that actually stands behind what they sell. I won't be back, and I'd strongly encourage you to spend your money somewhere else.
