Would give a 0 star review if possible. We purchased a Yukon XL from CarFam we noticed very soon there were issues when driving. Took the car to our mechanic who immediately found transmission related codes (that had been cleared to try and hide them) among other issues with the car. We called CarFam and they agreed to fix all the transmission issues. After a week they returned the car and said they would provide receipts for the work done via email. We immediately noticed similar issues. We finally got the receipts and noted that the GM dealer only reprogrammed the Transmission Control module and ON THE RECEIPT they clearly stated that they did not fix the main issue related to the most serious code. We were instructed by carfam to take the car to a GM dealer closer to us to diagnose the real problem. We did this and were told that the car needed a new transmission. We reached back out to CarFam at the point and let them know what we were told. The Sales Manager Alvin at this point became extremely rude and disrespectful towards both myself and my wife. He said we had mere hours to return the car to them or it would be our problem. We tried calling back to understand what we had to do but Alvin instructed his staff to not allow our calls through. It was only until my wife said she was someone else that Alvin took the call. Alvin even refused to pay for the fee (that they said they would pay) to get the car reinspected at the other dealer. It was also like pulling teeth to get them to put anything in writing. Ultimately we returned the car. Overall the staff at CarFam were disrespectful, deceitful, unprofessional, and at times plain mean. Their actions have them blackballed as our financial institution stated they will no longer allow customers to purchase vehicles from them. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, the GM Irvin initially tried to defend his people's actions. Ultimately Irvin did apologize and accepted responsibility however not before he and his staff completely lost all trust and put our family through one of the worst possible car buying experiences. Sadly this experience also put us back $500 for the restocking fee. 0% recommend this dealership for anything. Buyer beware when purchasing from this dealer, they clearly knew there were transmission issues with the car that their technicians tried to hide. read more

Buyer Beware I was sold a car that has damage from an accident that was not disclosed to me. In February 2022, we purchased a vehicle from CarFam for our son. upon driving the car home I noticed the brakes had an issue. seeing it was late in the evening I decided to get the car home and address it the next day. I called our local ford dealer, and took the car in for the brake issue and a used car inspection. ford inspected it and said the brake booster was bad, the timing cover was leaking oil (had been for some time) and the windshield wiper pump was broken and leaking. I went ahead and authorized the repairs, after which they called me to let me know the wire harness under the brake booster had been sliced and electric taped together. after all this, the car was in the shop for about 1 month costing me a little over 3k in repairs. fast forward a few weeks after my son washes the car and finds water in the headlight, so we pull the headlight only to find the radiator support ( main structure of the front of the car ) was pushed in on the passenger side. at this point in time, the coolant was leaking, so I took it back to the dealership. it was their 3-4 days getting looked at; in short, I was told by the dealer I needed to take it to a collision repair center, to have the radiator support and radiator repaired. after this we called CarFam to see how it was we were sold a vehicle that was in a collision without any disclosure. after some back and forth and request to get a quote for the repair, I was asked to get a frame inspection done at the cost of 200-250.00 out of pocket, to which I declined to do, as I've invested so much money into this car already. They then offered to reimburse me for the cost, but I have to distrust them due to the issues we are running into and a previous item they claimed they would reimburse me for during the purchase of the car. (never got the reimbursement, despite sending the receipt to Hazem as asked.) Now we are dealing with Armando, who keeps insisting that the situation is not a big deal and basically states unless the car has frame damage they will not buy the car back from us. had we agreed to purchase a vehicle that had disclosed damage this would be a different story, but since we were sold a car with hidden damage and more gremlins than I'd care to deal with; I would not recommend them for any car purchase. do not trust this place. you'll be better off spending your hard-earned money someplace else. I recently bought my Tacoma from CARFAM. I contacted this small dealer by sending them a message and was contacted by Phally / Polly (I'm pretty sure I messed up the name) within a few hours. After making an appointment, I ended up vising the dealer to look at the truck I was interested in looking at. I was impressed. CARFAM made sure the vehicle was in a very presentable condition. The undercarriage was a little dirty, but I blame that on the previous owner who likely took it off-roading. But the entire exterior was very well detailed and clean. The engine bay was very nicely polished and clean as well. The interior was also very clean and smelled like a new car and no funny smells or stains whatsoever. I ended up talking to Jesus and Phally. Jesus was very friendly and was very welcoming when I showed up to the dealer. We ultimately worked out a deal and sold the truck to me. I have been driving my new-to-me truck and I am very happy with my truck. I have been to other (Toyota) dealers and I gotta say that the staff over at CARFAM are much better to deal with. CARFAM also has a nice variety of vehicles for sale and I personally think that they are worth taking the time to visit. And if you go there, talk to Phally or Jesus. We made sure to leave TWO more phone numbers making a total of THREE they now should have to contact us.. BUT STILL DIDNT BOTHER CONTACTING THE CLIENTS OF THE APPOINTMENT. Of course we didn't make because we still have jobs to attend. Since then they haven't bothered trying to reach back to us. Also im sure their "detailer" cant even wipe their own butts properly because aside from the chopped up rims, probably once of the most nastiest dirtiest cars I've been shown .. looked like they sprayed god knows what and just walked away.. we let it slide since out main concern were the rims but then they pulled this bs. If you come here (hope you dont) dont expect to be shown a nice clean car expect what looked like llama sneezed on the screen and nasty goo all over the plastic parts of the interior. Took my truck for an oil change, was told I have multiple oil leaks all over the engine. So not only did they knowingly sell me a truck with a bad transmission but also a faulty engine and bad tire pressure sensors. AVOID this place at all costs.
