I hired him to fix a couple of dents back in June, immediately I noted the difference in color/texture and he said it would be fine after it dried, adding that one it was buffed, it would be good to go. A few days later I noticed bubbling in the paint (photo attached), I called him and he said it was too hot and that was why it bubbled, having already paid him in full, I took him at his word that as soon as the temp dropped below 105 degrees he would come back. I reached out each day the temp was in the range he mentioned and looking back just got the run around. I called several more times, even messaged him again on yelp and no response at all. I paid $750 for the work and will now have to find a different shop to repair the bubbles and other small things he promised to correct. I think he is a very nice guy and may have just over extended himself. My advice is sadly that you should probably look at other options so you don't end up out $ like I am. If he is kind enough to at least give a partial refund, I'll update this rating to reflect that, as I said he is a nice person so this is a real bummer. I doubt he will offer anything though, looks like I just got hustled don't make the same mistake.

I took my truck over there singed some papers and left the rest to my lawyer. After seeing that my lawyer wasn't getting anything done I chose to go with a different law office. I was told the other party's insurance would cover my vehicle damage since it was his fault. So all this time my truck is at the body shop and the owner says everything is fine. After a few months, I start getting letters from the department of motor vehicles saying that my vehicle is reported as abandoned. So I call the owner of the body shop and he says everything is fine. After finding out about that no work is getting done on my truck I call the shop but the owner is out of town. So I call ford because i was still making payments and they tell me that they sent two tow trucks to pick up my vehicle but the people at the shop didn't let them take it. And for the vehicle to be reported as abandoned someone has to fill out the proper paperwork. So I wait until the owner comes back and I tell him the situation. He said that while he was away the person he left in charge put the vehicle under their name. And he would call that person so that they may or may not give me my vehicle back. I tell him I'm on my way. At this time I am furious as I go into the office the owner is sitting there and I tell him. "I'm watching my back out in the streets so I don't get robbed by theifs and car jackers and you want to keep my truck for free. The only way you're going to keep my truck is if I die right now". I was a different person back then and we're both lucky nothing violent happened. As I looked him in the eyes I knew he knew what I meant. So he said "let me make a phone call to the person that has your truck. " I waited outside and here comes my truck with parts missing off of it. All I wanted was to get out of there. We go to the bank to change the title over to my name and part ways. So be careful where you take your car to get worked on. And if you receive letters from the dmv saying your car is reported abandoned even if the shop says everything is fine. Don't believe them.

When we got it back, our back window had been broken and was not returned, the window doesn't even work, the door is missing the remote lock button, the doors don't line up correctly, and the paint doesn't match and has awful runs. I tried to be very understanding with extenuating circumstances and whatnot, I tried to be understanding that there was clearly more work than they'd anticipated, but I made it clear I'd be willing to pay for the addition work needed and speak with our insurance company to fix the damage done to our car. We were told not to worry about it, and got our car back after 8 weeks in the middle of the night. It wasn't until later, in the daylight, that we could see how bad the paint was and that the window had been replaced and was not tinted. We later learned about the window not being functional at all. I'm, at this point, worried about what else I will find wrong with my vehicle. I don't know if the company is even still in business, as they deleted their Facebook page which was our primary form of contact.

When I googled this part u can find it for 120.00. Also if you use your card to pay be prepared to be charged the fee. Mine was an extra 21.00. He said when my car was done it was gonna be 600, when I got there it was 768. Had I just bought the part myself n his labor was 196 I could've came out way cheaper. He also had to lyft me which was only 8 bucks n wouldn't let me use the 10% coupon cuz he paid for the lyft. He also stated he was going to look for a better gas cap n he did but failed to tell me it was 50 bucks! I could've probably found that cheaper on my own or at least been told hey just so u know I found a gas cap n it's gonna cost you this much n then let me decide if I wanted to spend that much. But the work got done n I can't complain it's only been a few weeks, n I did like that Ray was nice. Just wish he hadn't flip flopped with the cost. He turned out not being any cheaper than the other quotes minus the gas cap n credit card fees.

Andy will diagnose problems and let you decide what to do, but often will tell you what he would do if it were his car, which I so appreciate. I had a mechanical issue and he checked the engine light and then CALLED VW to figure out whether or not it was covered under warranty - something I didn't ask him to do - found out the problem was covered, and then SENT ME to the VW dealership so that I could get it fixed for FREE. Incredibly honest people. You will not be disappointed! The only (very small) warning is that their number on the website is not amazing. Andy's cell number is more reliable and you can find it on the website if you do a bit more digging, and it's also on the card they'll give you at the shop!
