The food itself was really yummy!! I got the shrimp scewer, dumpling soup (even tho there was only ONE dumpling in it) and the ginger pineapple drink that they make in house. The atmosphere is nice/ clean and the lady helping me was very nice- however I have to give 2 stars because yall are advertising all these coupons for your place but won't honor them. I had a coupon for a free appetizer- no where on it says there is any purchase required or buy one get one. All it says is free app and then when you click redeem it says "valid, show to a staff member". When i brought this there, the lady hadn't even heard of it, she had to call her manager who had to call another person who then said I had to buy $40 worth of food to use the coupon. There was another coupon that said $10 off (if you spend $40) but the free appetizer didn't specify that. There was also a coupon that said "free wings" and then they said that was actually buy one get one free... so it really feels like false advertising to have coupons with zero fine print or explanation that they are advertising and then they just tell you when you get there (after driving 20 mins) that there are all these hidden rules. Be upfront about what you're offering or honor it. Not sure I would return if that's the way they do business. It also took over 20 mins for my 2 skewers and cup of soup to come out in a completely empty restaurant after it taking 15+ mins to order after all the calls and such. Found this restaurant in Conway SC when visiting the Soul Food festival, right next door. Could be older building renovated inside nicely to fit their needs with booths, smallish bar, and buffet holder in center. At the time we arrived around 1pm Sat the buffet was not active. Wife ordered jerk pork plate, came with rice/peas and cabbage. She says the pork should not be smothered in sauce if we're receiving in Jamaica, for myself I like a lot of sauce so didn't bother me. The pork did not taste smoky as I remember jerk tasting. She says rice peas were not bad but not impressed by anything else. This one plate was $18, it was overpriced IMO. Come back when the buffet open may get true value for money. read more

100% an absolute must visit place if you visit Conway. They have a great lunch buffet that's all-you-can-eat. The dining area is huge, the restaurant is meticulously clean, and the service is with a smile. I like the buffet, you point at what you want and they serve it. It's more sanitary this way. We had just about everything they offered. The only thing not on the lunch buffet is oxtail. We gave our server a sad face and she brought us out a side of it on the house. I've had take out from here many times at this point. I typically get the oxtails and sometimes I get various flavors of beef patties. It's the only Jamaican restaurant in Conway that I'm aware of. What I like is the speed of finishing my order, the friendliness of the staff, and the proximity to downtown. What I dislike is that the rice and peas are always dry. If you want to dine in, you can do that too. They have a spacious dining area and there's plenty of on and off street parking. read more

This is one of my four favorite places in Conway. The chicken curry is perfectly spiced without being overly hot, and always cooked to perfection. I'm partial to the cabbage and carrots, another Caribbean staple, and theirs is also exactly right. This place was a happy surprise to me when I moved here, and the staff are lovely: welcoming, attentive and friendly. I seldom get downtown, but receive the same treatment with take out orders. I LOVE Caribbean Jerk Cuisine! Staff is super friendly & attentive, they have been great for dine-in & carry-out. The chicken curry & steamed cabbage is highly recommended as is their Jerk Chicken! The patties have been great for quick carry out lunches too. And we also have a ginger pineapple drink with every visit, AMAZING & super refreshing. We went for a drive, and stumbled upon Conway - a great town to visit1 We were surprised to see Caribbean food in the middle of South Carolina and decided to give it a shot. So glad we did! We can be a little picky about Caribbean cuisine given we've traveled and lived in some of the best places to get everything from jerk chicken to Jamaican beef patties in coco bread. We're adding CJC to the list. Restaurant is clean and updated, staff friendly and efficient, offering great recommendations for chef's specialties. It's not a hole in the wall, nor is it fancy, just fantastic food and great service. What more do you need? Perhaps some plantains - oh wait, those were delicious too! When we left, we thanked the owner who was seated at the counter. There aren't a lot of restaurants where I've done that. If you're at all in the area, visiting Myrtle Beach or southern NC, it is worth the drive. Plus Conway is beautiful - we can't wait to come back. read more

The food is not true Jamaican food. The red snapper was not cooked correctly. I'm not sure it was the correct fish Red beans and rice was very dry. Oxtail was over cooked and some pieces were burnt. The first time we enjoyed their food they were serving out of a food truck and it was awesome we had oxtails. Well now that they opened up a place in town we decided to go there and we enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was very nice and was able to explain things to where we couldn't pass them up and we had to try them. The curry goat has a lot of bones in it specially little ones but it was awesome and when I got a big bone that actually had marrow in it I was so happy and when I tasted that for the first time it was awesome & I wish I had more of it. My parents always rave about this restaurant and I've been wanting to eat here but never got the chance on previous trips home. We went today for lunch and I definitely see what the fuss is about! My dad and I ordered the jerk chicken pasta (pictured), my mom got the jerk salad, and we got a plate of festival bread to share. The pasta was absolutely delicious! I typically don't care for restaurant alfredo but this was delightful and the jerk sauce was amazing. I thought about buying a bottle to take home with me but I don't want to risk it in my checked baggage - maybe next time! The festival bread was also extremely delicious! The prices are VERY affordable and you definitely get large servings! I had to force myself to finish my plate (didn't want to leave leftovers in the car all day!) but it could have easily made 2-3 meals. The staff were also very kind and attentive. First time visiting this restaurant and tasting Jamaican food, it certainly won't be our last. The food was amazingly good, we had the jerk chicken and the curry chicken meals. We also had their pineapple/ginger drink which tasted very good. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff were welcoming and very helpful explaining the dishes. We were headed to a different downtown restaurant and then saw this one. Their menu board got our attention because we LOVE authentic jerk chicken. This absolutely did not disappoint! I had the jerk chicken meal and it was delicious! So so good! My husband had the jerk chicken patties and loved them. This place will be a new stop on the way to the beach to pick up dinner. Inside, everything looks brand new and they have Jamaican beaches painted on the walls. The service was fantastic. We were greeted with a super friendly smile when we came in and a manager or owner came thru and chatted with us as well asking how we found them.
