Our 1st time here and what a treat it was. When you walk in there are 2 very realistic trees covered in beautiful cherry blossoms. Beyond that little white light hanging from the ceiling. It's like you've stepped into a welcoming little cafe in a quiet little town. The waitress was very friendly, polite and helpful. Prices were reasonable and the food delicious. I ordered the nachos which would have been enough for all of us so needless to say I took more than half of them home. My friend ordered a Philly steak sandwich which she said was very good except she really wanted the Philly cheesesteak and didn't realize she made a mistake until it came without cheese. A great recommendation by a friend! There were four of us in the party and we were all pretty impressed. The burger was cooked perfectly, the fries were amazing and crispy, the salad was quite large and plentiful, the cheese steak was legit and the French dip had the best flavor. Our service was top notch, as all servers help each table and not just one per table. The environment was fun with all the Halloween decorations. The bathrooms were very clean and easily accessible. Hop & Wich -- Downtown Conway I really, really wanted to give Hop & Wich five stars because there is a LOT to like about this place. The first thing that grabbed us was the atmosphere. When you walk in and see the two giant trees, hanging lights, and the overall setup, it creates a super vibey, fun environment that immediately makes you want to sit down and stay awhile. And then there's the menu. So many creative options that we honestly didn't know what to order. We were excited to try as much as possible, so with our group of seven, we basically went on an appetizer-eating mission. Unfortunately, this is where things started to go sideways. We had several mistakes throughout the meal. My daughter received the wrong wrap, I ordered charbroiled oysters and was brought Oysters Rockefeller, and our friends at the table didn't receive their food until we had already been eating for about 15 minutes. The food itself was a mixed bag. The buffalo chicken dip was tasty, but it wasn't nearly as hot as I expected. It seemed more like it had been put into a bowl rather than served piping hot and bubbling like we've experienced at other restaurants. The chips and queso were okay, but the queso didn't really stand out to me as homemade or anything particularly special. The Garlic Parmesan wings, on the other hand, were excellent. Big, juicy, meaty wings with plenty of substance. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The hush puppies with honey butter were also very good. We also tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was good, but presented differently than what we're accustomed to. Instead of tossing the fried shrimp in the Bang Bang sauce, the sauce was simply drizzled over the top. Not necessarily bad, just not my preferred preparation. Then came the strangest part of the meal for me. I wasn't quite full, so I ordered a burger. Instead of bringing it out for me to eat at the table, it was put directly into a to-go box. So...I ended up eating my burger out of a takeout container while everyone else was still sitting at the table. What bothered me most wasn't any one mistake. It was the number of mistakes happening at the same table without any apparent management intervention. There was a sign asking guests to bring issues to the manager's attention, but I never saw a manager circulating through the dining room checking on tables. Our server appeared to be training another server who had only been there for two days, which may explain some of the confusion, but that's exactly when I would expect a manager to be especially visible and involved. And I say all of this as someone who has worked in restaurants for many years and considers himself a foodie. I know mistakes happen. Nobody expects perfection. But when you have a table of seven experiencing multiple order issues, delayed food, incorrect dishes, and service confusion, that's the point where a manager should be stepping in to make sure the experience gets back on track. That's the missing piece for me at Hop & Wich. The creativity is there. The atmosphere is there. The menu is VERY intriguing. There are some genuinely good dishes. But the execution and management weren't where they needed to be during our visit. I would absolutely give this place another shot because I think there is a really fun restaurant hiding underneath the service issues. I'd love to come back, order some of the other creative things on that menu, and see what this place can really be when everything is clicking. Lots of potential. Great vibe. Some very good food. But too many mistakes during one visit to justify five stars. read more

Came here again on Thursday December 18th 2025 with my parents and aunt as a party of 4. We were able to sit right down by a smiling host. We sat at a table that was near the bar-- but it was fun because they were showing The Polar Express on the TV, plus other sports and another Christmas Movie Home Alone 2 afterwards. Our server Stephanie greeted us right away and was very pleasant. She got us waters right away. I also had their drink special for Christmas The Jingle Berry. One can also take it home in a cup, but I didn't need the cup, and was able to order without the cup. Kudos to this waitress who checked ID. We also started with boneless wings teriyaki, and Hush Puppies! Food came out in a timely manner, and loved both appetizers. The teriyaki sauce added a great bonus to the wings and they were very tender. For entrees, I got the special Merry Me Salmon, which was Salmon with an arcitchoke sauce on top with mash potatoes and String Beans. The rest of the others in my party had sandwiches such as the philly cheesesteak, and hamburgers. Our server Stephanie did a good job of checking on us throughout. I enjoyed my salmon special very much! the other people in my party also enjoyed their food. Got the check right away, and paid via a credit card and left a cash tip. We were in Conway for a CCU football game and decided to check out the Halloween festivities. This place was highly recommended so we gave it a shot. The place was crowded for a Thursday afternoon but we were able to get a couple seats at the bar! We were promptly greeted and ordered a few beers! Great beer selection! They have a nice happy hour too! We ordered the fried pickles, boneless wings and chips and queso! Everything was excellent. Service was fantastic. For a busy small business Saturday this lovely spot was hopn. We sat under a lovely pink flowered tree looking over this packed two story establishment. After a busy morning of shopping we were please to find that they were happy houring all day. Sharing a lovely loaded pierogi app (potato pierogis smothered and covered in sauerkraut, corned beef, cheese, and brown mustard) with a side of queso was a confusing, eclectic, and delightful treat. They were delicious with lemon, hot sauce and horseradish. Cuz's wife got The Coastal Club and my wife got The Buffalo Chicken Wrap . No one was disappointed. We also ordered The Oysters Rockefeller, which were good, but had too much cheese to appreciate the taste of the oysters. The raw ones were a lot better. Stopped here for lunch. The hubs and I wanted to head to Conway to walk around and try something new. We walked in at 11am for lunch. The restaurant just opened and we decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was super friendly and helped us. Personally, we both loved the vibe of the place. A little sports bar mixed with old school 90s classic films like " Happy Gilmore, Tommy Boy, Step Brothers, Dumb and Dumber" and honestly, that's our personality to the tee! So we liked the ambiance. We ordered the nachos with chucks and split a chicken sandwich from the menu. It was perfect for the two of us, all the food was delicious and hot. I would totally go back and would love to bring out kids, ages 9-12 because they have the old school 90s games. I was really for a good experience at this place. We call and place an online order for a large fry and large chips and queso. After driving there we go to pickup our order, upon receiving it, we walk out and go to the car. I take the food out as we drive back I take out the fries the portion sizes were ridiculous! Husband and I tried this place tonight after passing it by too many times. Crowded, but we were able to get a table upstairs. We had an awesome server named Taylor (not Swift). I came to be glad we were upstairs as, tbh it was quite loud downstairs. It was pretty interesting to people watch from above. We both went for the French Dip with fries and I have to say it was very good. Hubby enjoyed his with some frosty Corona Light. He's a stickler for cold beer not the least bit warm and happy to say he gave his thumbs up. BLUF - disorganized, understaffed, and QC issue with the cooking staff. The food was fine, certainly worth the price. The beer selection was good and the overall appearance of the place is good but I'll get to that later. The big issue with this restaurant is they are terribly short staffed. We sat in the bar area at a high table which was serviced by the bar tender. This is a huge bar and bar area for 3 people to service, much less 1. I am not the first to mention this, as we sat there waiting for our drinks I had to look up the reviews and many said the same thing. The overall appearance of the place is fine but really a mishmash of concepts, is it a sports bar? A movie themed restaurant? A sushi place? I ask this because all 29 TVs were on sports, fine, no problem, but there's a lot of emphasis on movies with the posters, and paintings and memorabilia. And to really top it off, there are two massive cherry blossom trees when you first walk in, this and the mini arcade on the second floor are just part of the collision of themes. I'm not a theme nerd but if I noticed it then anyone else would as well. Now for the food, it was good but my wife's steak sandwich was burnt. I don't mean a little, I mean the bread was black as tar. Simple mistakes I get but this is just pure laziness, whoever made it knew without a doubt that it was burnt to a crisp but said screw it, I'm giving it to them anyway. That is a problem. The bartender sent it back immediately and it was returned without being toasted at all which was fine, I assume they always toast the bread but whoever was on the grill decided to double down and just not do anything. The staff were nice and I tipped the waiter 30% since he remained calm and professional while standing in the middle of a S-Storm. We would try it again but if it's this much of a cluster we will wash our hands of this place. read more

I ordered the Swiss and Mushroom burger with fries Not many sides to choose from. I ordered it medium and it was well done so very dry. I didn't send it back or complain. That's not my style. There was not much cheese either...maybe half a slice. My son ordered a fried chicken sandwich and he liked it. Not on the menu but he is a waiter somewhere else and knows how to order special stuff. Family friendly restaurant with such an extensive menu. Went here with the fam on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Sat at the smart table which had tablets at each spot and charging spots for your phone. We got buffalo chicken dip, Mac and cheese bites, hush puppies and wings for our starters and they were all pretty good. The wings didn't have enough buffalo sauce on them but we just asked for some additional on the side. Hush puppies come with a cinnamon dipping sauce that is incredible.
