We ordered about everything for breakfast but the show stopper was the all the Queens men. It was super delicious and everyone talked about it for the rest of the trip. We were warmly greeted when we walked into the restaurant. Two large waters were promptly brought to us and everything looked good on the menu. I had a hard time deciding but I went with the A Better BLT + egg and my hubby had The Whistler with sausage. My BLT was soo delicious (total yum), I was super happy with the soft, subtle sourdough bread and would order this again for sure. The sandwiches come with salad or fries (the salad comes dressed and with feta cheese, my bad but they graciously gave me a new salad without cheese:). My hubby enjoyed his dish too. We HAD to buy a loaf of the sourdough (super soft inside & not too sour flavor). They make all their bread in house and also have some baked goods (cookies, etc they looked really good but we didn't want to tempt ourselves haha). The owner came over and told us The Today Show asked his wife to come on their show to make her Shrimp & Grits. Nice! I wanted to order several dishes, seriously I love this place! I really wanted to go back and try the fried rice and other dishes but we ran out of time- boohoo. I want to come back back and totally recommend this place. Plus, we overheard them giving some good recommendations to other tables (Yes, go to Murrells Inlet as they recommended!). Yet again, making another review for Winnas kitchen I'm from Michigan and I was in Myrtle Beach for motorcycle bike week and I finally got to meet the owner of my favorite restaurant. He is an absolutely amazing guy very funny, very compassionate. The hospitality that I received was absolutely amazing once again and it just tells me why that this is my favorite place. Loved this quality little place in the land of huge and hectic pancake restaurants - so glad we checked Yelp and learned Winna's was nearby. Lots of coffee choices, giant cups if you get drip coffee (and free refills, bzzzzz) and my partner's iced latte was perfectly made. Service couldn't have more prompt or friendly, we both had the custard omelettes and really enjoyed a departure from the same old same old. Met up with my grandma for lunch while my husband, toddler, and I were in town. The food was delicious and portion sizes were great! The server was really friendly, and the atmosphere was cute and calm (it kind of gave us a break from the chaos of a Saturday at the beach). Food took a little while to get there, but once it arrived, we were not disappointed. Everything was amazing and huge so we even had leftovers. The baked goods for sale were also super tempting! Awesome hidden gem. I'd expect to see this restaurant in Charleston, and we're lucky to have it right here in Myrtle Beach. Everything was delicious, you could smell what they're whipping up in the kitchen before you open the door. Typically I don't order chicken at a restaurant, my cutlet was so fresh and crispy! You can taste the love that was put into these recipes, even down to the house made salad dressing. I visited Myrtle Beach hoping to get a chance to go here and I did! The service and owner (who has an amazing story, check YouTube!) were amazing and the food was SO GOOD!! The inside is so cute and very clean and homey feeling. They have some to/go meals, banana pudding, salad and delicious looking croissants on display (I wish I could've gotten one, but was too full). We had the shrimp and grits, the better BLT with a salad, and the Whistler (bacon, cheese, fried egg, lemony arugula sandwich). The Whistler came with some fruit and cheese grits that you could tell were fresh and carefully made. For a coffee addict like myself, my favourite was the vanilla latte which wasn't too sweet and was amazing. They also allowed my small Havanese puppy inside which sat on the floor next to me. They allow dogs that are well behaved or lap dogs, otherwise they have a couple of outdoor tables you can sit at in front of the store. If you're in the area, I recommend here for brunch! read more

I love brunch. We went to multiple brunch places throughout Myrtle Beach, and Winna's Kitchen was by far my favorite. It was a really cute place with simplistic decor and ocean vibes, and the service was great too our waiter was really nice and recommended us his favorite dishes. I started with a strawberry milk tea which was good because the drink itself wasn't too sweet but I wasn't a huge fan of the sugar rim. As for food, we ordered the shrimp and grits, omelet skillet, seasonal summer corn and tomato soup, and the cinnamon croissant skillet. All the dishes were plated beautifully. My favorite had to be the summer corn and tomato soup it was well seasoned and had a good balance of flavor. The guy who waited on us was super nice and helpful. He gave good advice. For as few tables that where currently in there, it took quite awhile for the food. The food was great but the staff was even greater! We were looking for somewhere to eat lunch that wasn't a chain and found this spot while looking on Tik Tok. The owner was the sweetest and the waitress who served us was just as sweet we felt like family honesty which is normally hard to pull off in such a touristy city. I had the BLT which I am still thinking about now the sweet jam and the savory bacon was delicious and everything was so fresh. My mom had the ham and cheese croissant which was HUGE and you could tell that is was freshly made. They brought out two different jams for her to try when she asked for some and they were both delicious. My aunt got the potato dish which was so well cooked and so good. The sharp cheddar, the crispy bacon and the perfectly cooked potatoes were so savory and delicious. My aunt had also asked us they had cheese danishes and they did not but later the owner brought over a morning bun with a favor they had been testing and let us try for free. It was a pina colada like flavor and was fluffy, just sweet enough and still warm from the oven. Okay. First off... there is one sever. Service was 4/10. Both cups I received were dirty. The water cup was covered in stains, then I received a cup with sweet tea that had a pink lipstick stain on it. Apparently they ran out of straw, so I barely wanted to drink anything. When you walk in the first thing you smell is mothballs not food. The server was very mono tone and I get it sometimes your day just isn't your day, but the service was terrible. Now onto the food. The shrimp and grits weren't horrible but they weren't good. I would give it a 5.5/10 my fiancé had the rest of the food, and she rated both of her meals an average of eight out of 10. Because of her, I redacted the two star rating, and gave an extra star. Overall, I would not come back. When I first read the reviews and looked inside, I thought this place was going to be absolutely delicious. I got nothing but average or below average. The total for that meal was $55. In all reality I should've only paid maybe $30. On a more positive note, the sweet tea was the best sweet tea I've had in a long time. This has been a place that I have been wanting to check out for a while. Finally, my wife and I were struggling for where to eat breakfast today and remembered that we had not tried it yet. It was definitely a treat! It's gets harder and harder to find some inspiring breakfast spots in a touristy town like Myrtle Beach but Winna's has an inspiring menu. And their execution is equally inspiring. My wife tried the Shooked which is their take on Shakshouka and a recipe I have been looking forward to making one day but have never tried. I will now be looking up recipes to make it at home. It was delicious, different, and is a menu item that we will both be enjoying again. I enjoyed the bacon and egg fried rice. Again not something I would have even thought of for breakfast but very delicious. Again an inspiring breakfast that still for the most part had many of the average breakfast components.....eggs, a protein, and bread. The ambiance and service were excellent as well. The prices were extremely competitive with the local pancake houses but the ambiance and food were several levels above! This is one of those places that I hope does well during the downtown renovations and in fact I hope it flourishes and expands! Defiantly a do not miss place to eat breakfast. Wow. I went to this place for a while, but then there was a flood that they had no control over from the apartment upstairs. They remodeled and are open now better than ever!! They are like the Phoenix !!! I'm slightly concerned now, because they had another flood recently :( I know the mayor of Myrtle Beach owns this building... So can we please take care of that? Madame Mayor... Can you please make sure that this wonderful business is not in danger?!?! Thank you so much. Anyyway, They have a new chef, new servers, new things all things all things all things.
