Absolutely delicious Peruvian food every time we visit! We usually order the lomo saltado the meat is tender with the perfect amount of sauce. The chaufa fried rice is bomb, super flavorful and always hits the spot. Their sauces are life! Lol Their ceviche is incredibly fresh and refreshing. And we can't forget the drinks! I usually go for the passion fruit pisco, which never disappoints and is such a beautiful drink. The service is always top tier. I would absolutely recommend this place! read more

I came here for lunch today. Some tables were dirty, and upon my request the waitress, Suzette, promptly cleaned them. I ordered a half of chicken with yucca fries and a side salad. The chicken skin was tasty, but the meat was relatively dry. The yucca fries were cut large. They were just okay. I have had better salad elsewhere. I ordered a side of "yellow"rice, which was interspersed with white rice. Suzette explained that the cooks make the white rice first and "then add color to it". I prefer yellow rice, which gets its coloring solely from saffron. I also had a glass of sangria, which was strong and tasty. I will never come back here again. For quality Spanish food, I prefer going to the Upper West Side's Flor del Mayo. I gave an outstanding review for that restaurant. I also like the Spanish food in Floridita, which is located in nearby Hamilton Heights. I was the only diner at Chicken Place. I could taste why. read more

The food and service were perfect. We never get disappointed. And the restaurant always seem full (because of their great food).

This place is always packed. Steak in the lomo saltado was very dry and over cooked. It included a ton of onions, about two slices of tomato. Green sauce is delicious, perfect amount of heat. Had to get the waitstaff's attention to get water and our bill at the end. Though everyone did seem to be working hard. Decor is basic - giant projector screen back near the bathrooms that they use to play music. read more

This review is based mostly on the food because I chose to do take out rather than dine in. Had the Chaufa rice and had to get 1/2 chicken being that this is the Chicken Palace. The rice is the best I have had in Medford. The chicken was perfectly cooked , flavorful and juicy. By far the best rice I have had in Medford. Portions are plentiful & basically for 2 people. You will have leftovers. Service was fine for take out. Couple of young ladies. Limited English. But I reverted to my Spanglish and it was fine. No explanation or guidance on their food so you are pretty limited to the menu. The location is in a strip mall off of 112 surrounded by empty stores. Almost looks abandoned. I have driven by her so many times and did not have a clue what type of food it was until I went to Yelp. Decor needs some serious work. Looks like they slapped a fresh coat of paint covering up whatever the old location had. Just looks sloppy. They had a bar with no liquor ( leftover from the old place ). They run the takeout from here but it's the first thing you see they should dress this up. The biggest problem it they had broken or stained drop ceiling tiles. This has always grossed me out. It's a shame I have seen a lot of these places open and close. They invest so much to open and then just sit there and wait for customers to come in. They need to advertise better, clean up and sell their product. And yes they have the product. On food alone I would give them a 5 star. read more

I've been here twice and the first time I didn't have an issue. The second time they acted very weird and it was a different waitress. I think they didn't like the fact that we spoke English and we kept getting weird stares. I didn't think anything of it. After two days it got a notification from my bank. My boyfriend and I love going here. Nice background music inside. The prices are fair and reasonable for all the food you get. We share everything we order : salad with their delicious dressing, yuca fries, rice , beans and a whole chicken. We usually end up bringing the rest home , enough for another meal. The rotisserie chicken is bangin!!! It comes out extra crispy, comes with a delicious green sauce . Everything they serve you is full of delicious flavor and so worth every bite! We used to go to the one in patchogue, as they have now relocated here in Medford and the food is just as good maybe even better!! We will definitely be back! It's a very casual place , so after you eat, you may have to stand up and pay at the counter. The green sauce was the best of 3 other Peruvian restaurants in the vicinity. The chicken was good, well seasoned as all Peruvian rotisserie chicken should be. The fries and fried yuca were crunchy and satisfying. Salad was fresh and the dressing was tasty. The jalea (fried shrimp, calamari, fish and give platter with a lime salsa of red onions, cilantro and tomatoes) was crunchy & tasty but for 18.50 portion should be bigger. The sweet plantains were not too sweet or ripe like most are used to. This is all I tasted thus far from this location. There is another Peruvian restaurant called chicken place on main Street in Patchogue and Los Andes on main Street and 112. Every restaurant has their strengths in what they offer. I think this Bistro opened up in my neighborhood about a year or so ago. As places come and go we wanted to make sure it was solid before we tried it out. It's Peruvian and I'd heard good things about the Patchogue location. The food was fantastic and we were kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner. I had the Arroz Chaufa De Pollo and it was delicious! They provide a creamy green sauce that was fantastic. All the food just had so many layers of flavors. My husband had the Lomo Saltado de Carne which came with fries (soaked in the beef marinade) and yellow rice. The grilled veggies were delicious. our little guy got the sausages and fries (which is like a deep fried hot dog). Everything was AMAZING. read more

Wow- this was the most flavorful chicken I have ever had. You could taste whatever they marinated it in in every bite. Fries were perfect and the green sauce was very tasty too. They didn't have anticucho or desserts but hopefully they will the next time. We will be back! read more
