Wonderful place, friend's family took me here for a dinner. Perfect night, they have foodies pick from all over the world, great variety of food and wine; surprised to see a pretty extensive tea selection. We had silver needles jasmine

We visited Caribou Club for dinner after a long day of skiing and we all absolutely loved the dishes. They have a really comfortable area to enjoy drinks and socializing. I had the evenings special which was superb paired with a merlot.

First things First.....it was snowing ,so I had on a jacket and a beanie, and the first thing you are told as you walk in the front door...welcome to caribou club...I need your coats....club policy.... you must coat-check to get in.... We proceeded to go inside as I was told "sir take your beanie off!!!!"I found that annoying and alil Standoff-ish Due to the freezing weather...... I see why people wrote bad reviews about that...... but that's where I was wrong, It's a exclusive members only club.....people pay a lot of money for the membership.... so patrons should respect club rules.......now....entering the doors really helps makes you understand.......... What a beautiful establishment, and a very wonderful staff, from the moment you walk-in , you get coat check in, and seated promptly(if you go early)the atmosphere gives you the classic rustic feel, and very classy ......... From the server, to the wine guy, very professional and knowledgeable....The recommended Russian River Pinot noir was just OK, but the pairing of the sweet wine with the foie gras was phenomenal , They have one of the biggest and best wine cellars I've ever seen, And I'm a big wine guy..(no I don't have a drinking problem, I just luv drinking ).... Onto the foods.....from the chessy garlic bread (yum) to the one bite crab salad (so good)...the foie gras was a tad too sweet, the baked scallops was great, as was the fried mixed seafood , I liked the baked oysters better, the bigeye tuna was phenomenal, as was the giant prawn, The halibut was exquisite.....the rack of lamb was delicious, but my favorite had to be the seared scallops (yummmmmm)......as for all the deserts was phenomenal and I'm not really a sweets fan, but the blood orange sorbet?!?!so yummy!!!!!!! I would go back just for that!!! Overall first time experience was phenomenal if I have a chance I would definitely be back!!!!

The Caribou Club is a members only club in Aspen. The vibe is perfection, the service is literally white glove & the food is phenomenal. The garlic cheese bread is what dreams are made of. The tuna crudo was so tasty. It was unlike anything we had ever tried and was presented super cute. We also ordered the halibut Bangkok and the black angus filet. Both incredible with a ton of flavor. The halibut had the perfect amount of spice. The club itself is stunning. The art is immaculate and the service is probably the best I have very experienced. It was our first time visiting and they knew exactly who we were and made us feel like we were old friends! Absolutely loved this experience and we will be back

Our second time in Aspen. We tried all the go to places to dine and this was tops. Lovely attentive service, and fantastic meal. All of it near perfection. Thank you to the Caribou Club for a wonderful evening.

I came with my flight crew (just a couple of pilots in addition) and we just sat at the bar. I had the kale rotisserie chicken salad. The peanut dressing does have soy sauce so it is not gluten free, so they brought me a champagne vinaigrette instead. It was delicious. I got this during the cyclospora outbreak, because I'm a wild person now lol but they assured me they only get quality ingredients and super clean all veggies and fruit coming in. My pilots got the meatballs, creamed corn, and deviled eggs and they LOVED them.

They are pet friendly and have outdoor seating! Servers were very friendly although the serving can take a bit longer, depending on how busy they are. The French Dip came with lots of prime rib and a cup of Au jus, with horseradish to cut down on the heaviness. Crispy chicken sandwich was my favorite! It came sliced in three so the portion was massive. The chicken had more of a Japanese katsu style breading on it so it was super crispy. The burger was also a solid choice. Great bun to filling ratio and the spicy slaw was a complemented the burger well. The fries were pricey and I didn't realize that they weren't a side but an appetizer, but these fries were super crispy and delicious. You could tell that they were fried freshly on the spot. The creamy sauce it came with paired well with them! Deviled eggs were savory and had a kick from the pickle relish. This was my first time eating creamed corn and I liked it! It was warm and creamy, with a slight kick from the jalapeño slices.

I got the Above Zero cocktail [patron blanco and reposado tequila, grove street cranberry, ancho reyes verde, cointreau lime, cardamom bitters] -- it's a great sipper over an evening chat with the gals. The place has plenty of history and has been a social spot in Aspen for generations. The Old West vibe is still very much alive, which is rare in a city that has more hipster spots than anything else. My partner and I both enjoyed our cocktails. We sat at the bar, but there were plenty of tables too. Service was decent, if a little inconsistent. Our first server was fine but seemed somewhat checked out, while the second one randomly brought us bar snacks around our second drink (nuts, and they were delicious). Left me wondering why the first server didn't do the same. The cocktails are pricey, $20+ with a 22% gratuity automatically added to the check, but it IS Aspen after all. The local beers were fairly priced, which was a nice surprise.

Our experience at Meat & Cheese in Aspen was disappointing from beginning to end…read more To start with, the food was mediocre in every sense. The quality did not justify the prices, the flavors were forgettable, and nothing we ordered stood out. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was far worse. My wife accidentally left behind a shopping bag containing a brand new pair of sunglasses she had purchased earlier that day. When she returned to retrieve them, our interaction with a server named Carson was deeply disappointing. Instead of simply confirming ownership in a courteous and professional manner, Carson repeatedly questioned whether the sunglasses were actually hers. He kept emphasizing that they were brand new and worth around $600, making it clear that he found it difficult to believe they belonged to her. It was impossible not to feel that she was being judged based solely on her appearance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with verifying ownership of a valuable item. In fact, we appreciate businesses that take lost property seriously. What is unacceptable is allowing assumptions and stereotypes to influence how customers are treated. One lesson worth remembering is that genuine elegance and long established wealth rarely need to announce themselves. Those who have had the privilege of success across generations often feel no need to advertise it with designer logos or outward displays. True class is reflected in education, humility, confidence, and, above all, in the way people treat others. Ironically, Carson's assumptions said far more about his own judgment than they did about my wife. No customer should ever be made to feel that they need to "look wealthy" in order to be treated with respect. We hope management addresses this issue seriously. The mediocre food was forgettable. Being judged and treated with prejudice is not. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and dignity, regardless of how they are dressed or what assumptions someone chooses to make about them.
