This Caribou is amazing! The staff is so friendly and attentive and they make amazing drinks! I personally love the caramel high rise and shaken espresso. Their speciality lattes like the campfire or mint condition do come pretty sweet, but you can always just ask for less syrup or an extra shot of espresso to even that out. I visited to pick up a large order--10 gallons of coffee--for an event. When I noticed that one of the two insulated jugs appeared to be leaking, I asked the staff member about it. She inspected it and said it was likely just steam since the coffee was freshly brewed. The jug didn't seem too heavy, so I let her know I didn't need help and would make a few trips. However, once I stepped outside, I felt my leg getting warm. I set the jug down and realized it had leaked hot coffee all over my pants. I immediately returned to the store and asked the employee to take a look. She came outside, confirmed that the jug had been overfilled, and ended up pouring some out to prevent further leakage. Thankfully, I was wearing thick sweatpants--otherwise, I might have been burned. The situation could have been worse, but it definitely could have been avoided with a bit more attention during prep. read more

Walked in and right away loved the place. Set up and appearance were great. Plenty of room and great visit atmosphere. We were served quickly and the help seemed welcoming. I was in a group of 5 and four of us got drinks. Each one different. I got a fresh brew and raspberry/white chocolate scone. My drink lacked flavor and it was just black coffee-my normal order. The others got mixed drinks and felt the same. I did try a cold pumpkin spice latte which I liked but overall not a great drink experience. The store itself was real nice. Welp, well it looks like Starbucks AND Caribou are off the list for coffee now. We were in the parking lot debating whether to go in or drive thru, so we opted to place a mobile order via the Perks app. We ordered two combos, one with an energy drink and the other an iced craft press. There were no modifications. There were 7 cars in the slow moving line. When we finally got to the window, a confused looking boy awkwardly handed me the energy drink. My daughter indicated it was missing the cold foam, and the boy took the drink back and gave it to a middle aged white female who questioned the issue. She finally turned the cup to look at the sticker and sloppily put the cold foam in and the drink was handed back out with a loose lid. We received our sandwiches and then we asked if anything else was needed. I told the boy that I was still missing my coffee. He relayed that information to the woman who figured out my order, and rudely snapped at the boy saying "it's crafted press not coffee!" I told the poor kid working the drive-thru that I'm the one that said "coffee" (he was just repeating what I'd said) and wished him luck in the rest of his day. Before we went in the drive-through, we noticed a man and a woman dressed in polo shirts with the Caribou emblem on them, seemingly from corporate or other management. I don't know if the wheels came off the bus after they walked out or what the problem was, but I've never been treated so poorly at Caribou and the hostility in the drive thru could've been cut with a knife. Not only was the line long and the wait time excessive, when we got our drinks, we were both looking at each other with confused. Looks as they both tasted different than they should. We couldn't really pinpoint it, but one thing we both noticed was the ice in each of the beverages was very minimal, which normally I wouldn't mind. But the ice itself seemed not well formed, and either hollow or melted. Maybe this location is having issues with their ice machine? No free drink, voucher or apology was offered at the window, which is fine but they could've made up for everything with good customer service. And it wasn't even like one vehicle was holding at the line and they got all of us through after they cleared, it was just all around slow. When we pulled out of the parking lot, we counted 16 cars in line in the drive-thru! This was an extremely disappointing breakfast and kind of put a damper in our morning. This caribou is a bit larger than most. It had a variety of tables and furniture, making it a great place to study. Sometimes it's a bit too noisy with other customers. Another bonus is the outdoor seating - metal patio furniture + umbrellas. The drinks are the usually caribou quality (good, especially the nitro), and are made in the same amount of time one would expect. All of the baristas seem to be friendly (sometimes overly friendly). My favorite barista is Amanda with their cool makeup and hair color! read more

A coffee place that has everything I look for if I'm just popping in and out for a brew. Efficient friendly baristas with two people working the counter. Efficient use of Covid-19 restrictions, which is why I'll just pop in and out. Mainly fresh brewed coffee the way it should be, piping hot, robust and the correct way to ask for a membership number. Some Caribou's ask up front, some I have to tell them as they sigh and roll their eyes for having to enter a few more keystrokes. If I were to hang around there is plenty of indoor seating in pleasant surroundings and appears to be a nice place to get some work done. read more

I certainly never thought I'd write a review on a Caribou, but when you get wonderful service and a clean place to study you have to! I've been there twice in the past couple weeks on a weekday to study. The tables are clean, they sanitize door knobs, bathrooms, etc at least every hour. The baristas are super friendly and seem to love their job, which is awesome! They have three tables open right now with covid and it's great to have a place you can actually sit down with your coffee! They're doing an outstanding job! read more

This is my choice for comfiest coffee shop in Woodbury. If I'm going to have coffee for the sole purpose of socializing, this is my pick. It's a small-ish location with typical Caribou 'up-North' decor. The store is set up well - there are three separate seating areas, so it doesn't feel as though you're surrounded by people, even when all the tables are full. There is also one fireplace in the corner, with a sofa and some armchairs, which is the prize seating location here. This location is connected to a Bruegger's. They don't sell newspapers inside, but do have machines outside where they sell NYTimes, Financial Times, etc. read more

This is quite the gem in Woodbury, MN. We're lucky to have Caribou here in the Midwest. (It doesn't exist in California!) I'll pass this on - I learned this today - their green tea lemonade has no green tea in it. It's merely a "green tea lemonade" syrup. Bummer. :( Be prepared to see local friends there! Love me some Caribou and Bagels! This location is great, convient in the middle of busy Woodbury with a nice drive through. The workers are usually friendly, and helpful and it's always nice and clean. I usually go out of my way for this Caribou and Einstein even though I have a Caribou near me since I love the Bagels and sandwiches. It can get a bit busy as the location is prime. They have outdoor seating too if the temp outside is between sweltering and freezing. Located in Woodbury's City Center, Caribou is always a convenient stop for a coffee break. Also a great place to get some work done (free WiFi) or meet a client. The staff is always friendly, prompt, and most importantly, attentive to your specific drink order. Drive through. Ordered a mint snowdrift no whip. Pulled up and got a oreo snowdrift with whip. Told them it was the wrong one and they got rude when I told them to make what I ordered. I got a white chocolate turtle mocha, hubby got a mango orange key - lime smoothie, and we both got two chocolate croissants. First of all, there was a fly in the bakery display case, and it landed on the croissants. After we brought this to the staff's attention, she said "oh, I'll get it out for you" why not give us some new croissants? She seemed stuck-up. The croissants were hard and seemed stale, not fluffy and buttery like croissants are supposed to be. The coffee wasn't able to make up for the bad service.
