We went here on a whim about 2:30pm on a Sunday. To my surprise, there was a decent line. The place was decorated with trendy colors and bright designs. I don't claim to be a boba connoisseur, but prices were about the equivalent to your regular chain coffee place. The staff was kind when I had some extra questions, and the bathroom seemed clean enough. Parking was hit or miss in the mall (?) area. At this time it was full and NOT a super easy in and easy out. I tried this spot for the first time although a family member frequents it. I was thoroughly impressed. The flavor options here were far more unique than most boba places I've visited. I opted for the Banana Milk Tea with Coconut Jellies and 0% sugar. It was positively delightful! It was creamy, the jellies were sweet, and the flavor combination was on point. The staff was pleasant and the service was incredibly quick. I will absolutely be coming back. read more

The location is a lot more organized compared to before and staffs are being trained better. Every time I order at this location I can trust the quality as it tastes the same every time! Inside has been renovated and looks more like a chill hangout spot. I'm glad to see this is close to me and I don't have to worry about it tasting different each time! read more

I don't know what's wrong with this place. The last two times I've come here the boba tea was not very good. They do not put enough matcha in their drinks. My milk still looks white and not green. This is probably the worst place in MN to get any matcha flavor boba tea. My fiance got the strawberry milk tea. That one was okay but probably the least flavorful strawberry milk tea we've ever gotten. Would not recommend this place for boba tea. They do have cute stickers for sale and the interior design is nice. No issues with the staff either. read more

Located in the Woodbury lakes outdoor mall but there's plenty of street parking all around. During covid they didn't have any seating inside but they did have a few tables set up outside. Ordered a Thai tea (0% sugar) with crystal boba. Thai tea is a black tea that has a little more warming spices (like cardamom and star anise) and comes in a beautiful orange color. I love that they have crystal boba! It's essentially like boba in terms of shape but it's white/clear in color and little crunchier versus gummier if that makes sense. It's like a lightly flavored firm gelatin. It's a healthier (lower carbs and calories) replacement to boba for sure! It costs a little bit more as a topping as well (85¢ versus 50¢). Even though I asked for no sugar added it was still plenty sweet for me. Note: For any of their standard milk teas they use a non dairy creamer that they said you can't substitute a milk for. Their other drinks it seems like you can though. read more

I'm usually pretty boring with my drinks; just had the american coffee (it was ok), but the flavored passion fruit tea was pretty good. friendly staff, cool hang out place, and great beverages! I LOVE Chatime! Their pearls are usually the best and their drinks are amazing! The baristas are usually pretty nice as well. To me, Chatime is the best place for boba in the Twin Cities. I drive 20 minutes and pass several other boba places to get to this Chatime. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is because this location's closing time is so inconsistent. Today was the 4th time I've gotten there before "closing time" and they were already closed. Once it was even 40 minutes before the posted closing time and still didn't make it in time. Today I made my way there with 20 minutes to spare and their doors were locked (even after their FB post said they're open regular hours today due to Memorial Day). So if you really want Chatime from this location make it there an hour before their posted closing time! read more

I ordered the pink guava black tea with boba (0% sugar). I'm not sure if the tea came already sweetened, if it's the boba, or if they just made a mistake -- it was super sweet. I love sugar, but am trying to limit it. So be careful if you need to avoid sugar for dietary issues, as it may not be the 0% you expected. Having said that, the boba is great! Excited to have more tea places in the east metro. The women handing the business were professional, kind, and friendly. Would definitely come again, but maybe ask questions to ensure I don't get too much sugar in my drink next time. I hope the business is super successful! read more

One more boba shop in Woodbury is great to have! No more driving to the Mall of America or St. Paul or even Minneapolis to get boba anymore when there is one less than 10 minutes away from home! Chatime is always a great place to get boba here in Woodbury; so many options, friendly staff, cute space in a shopping center. I usually get their Honey Milk Tea with 0-30% sugar since this drink is already so sweet with the pearls added to it! I actually asked a barista if it was possible to taste it and they were nice enough to give me a small sample. I also tried their Sakura milk tea and it was great as well! A lot of their drink are fairly sweet, so if you want something sweet but not overly sweet, reduce your sugar! My family is not a fan of boba, but my brother came with me a few times and we were able to get him a Hawaiian fruit tea I believe (something similar to it) and he really enjoyed it-- finished the drink even! My dad comes here for his Honeydew slushi with jelly and my sister loves their smoothies. The atmosphere of Chatime is relaxed and casual and kind of Instagram-like. The tables are usually sticky here, but super sweet drinks and what not so I can't complain. They have games and a cute chalk board for you and your friends and the staff is always super friendly which is a plus. Usually its pretty quiet here on a weekday whenever I come and study. Sometimes it's just the barista's and I in there and other times there may be a family or a group of friends sitting inside. read more

Terrible upper management. I went in to get a simple boba milk tea with pearls the other day, and not only did the drink taste very mediocre, I could not help but observe the crew team and shift lead run around with no support... as a fellow shift lead myself, I could not help but think of the poor workers with no support from whoever their management is... I consider myself a regular and to seeing these poor workers tired and stressed... it makes me wonder if these daily crew members and shift leads feel ANY support. They deserve better treatment.
