I left my visit feeling violated and disregarded. I came for a full screening due to ongoing symptoms and was told that they would only run a test for yeast and bv because that's what the doctor wanted to do. The Doctor Stephanie gave me a bimanual exam where she shoved fingers in me without warning or telling me what she was doing while I was describing my issue. She knocked but rushed back in before I could finish dressing and sat there while I was naked talking to me. The front desk told me there would be options to reduce the price of my visit based on financial need since I didn't have insurance, but later charged me full price after because they found out that I have an insurance that they said they don't accept. Dr Stephanie said I only had a yeast infection and a urinary tract infection and prescribed me medicine that they made me buy on the spot. I went to a different doctor and found out I had ureaplasma, bv and a kidney stone. As a 22 yr old I hated my experience and will never come back. read more

TRULY great service. Helpful, knowledgeable, beyond patient with my plethora of questions. The new center is very nice, and booking appointments online is actually super fast and easy. They work with me being self pay as well, and offer assistance in more ways than one for the community. My "regular" gyno is great, but she takes weeks to get into, (which as we know, isn't practical in a vaginal emergency), I always feel like second rate clientele when seeking non-pregnancy related care (aka, always), they seem to rush me in and out (bc god forbid they stay past 3pm), and who doesn't love being surrounded with life-size ads suggesting I get Botox and lip fillers while naked in fluorescent lighting? Hi ‍ - Me. It's the complete opposite vibe at PP, almost as if they... care? Crazy, I know. I wish I would've given them a try years ago. I was hesitant about going to get new birth control due to me being a new patient and normally, being a new patient, Doctors will require various tests with unnecessary expenses. This location was efficient, private, and so beyond helpful, I cannot recommend this location enough. Even with being a new patient, I was able to get a new method the day of my appointment. The people that work at this location were sweet and made sure I was comfortable with my choices. The nurses were great and friendly. The nurse practitioner was great and friendly. Again, please use this location. Nothing but great thing to say, and I will be returning to this location in the future. read more

The staff are much more attentive and care about explaining everything compared to how the other locations are in Fort Worth, Lewisville , and Plano. The women here are absolutely wonderful. It was my first time and i was nervous about getting an IUD and they explained my options and allowed me to decide which one would be best. Stephanie was the one who did my procedure and she was amazing. She was very nice and answered all my questions and joked with me. Another nurse, Maddie, stood by my head the whole process and talked to me about college and where i was going to school, and she even offered to hold my hand during the IUD insertion. They made the whole experience very pleasant and i almost want to go back just to talk to them!!! Very thankful i went here. :) read more

I've been going to this clinic for the last few years because I didn't have insurance. I just figured they would be cheaper than an actual doctor but by the time you pay for your visit and all of the unnecessary exams they pressure you to take... It's about the same. Last year I went in for a specific issue that the nurse/doctor couldn't really answer any questions about and decided that just changing the brand of medication I was on would solve the problem. Didn't really bother to give me any kind of insight into what may be happening to my body. Fast forward to this year... I'm out of refills and didn't have $250+ to throw away on unnecessary exams. I called their office because my pharmacy said they put a hold on my BC pills. The first day they gave me the run around and kept stating that it was the pharmacy's fault and I should be able to pick up my prescription the next day. I called the pharmacy the next day and the tech at the pharmacy stated that they sent over a request to get my prescription filled but Planned Parenthood kept declining the request. So I call the office back to figure out what's going on and they again tell me they have no clue what's going on and that the office manager would call the pharmacy and give me a call back once they resolve the issue. The office manager calls me back and demands that I come into the office for my exams and if I didn't come in for my exams... she wouldn't fill my birth control prescription. I told her I didn't have money to do that and if she could fill it for the month... I could come in next month and get all of the necessary exams done. She then decided to question me as if I was addicted to birth control pills or something and told me she couldn't do anything for me until I can afford to come in and to "stack up on pads". If you are in need of a decent medical provider... these are not the people to turn to! They don't care about your well being. They only care about the money. I ended up going to a doctor and received the best care... finally got some answers and ended up spending less money. read more

I have never had cause to use the services of Planned Parenthood myself, but I have accompanied several close friends who needed support for their visit. I have to say that each time I went my friends received incredible, professional and sensitive attention. Only once was the visit for a pregnancy termination and my friend was completely distraught at having to have made that decision. If there had been any way she could have avoided it she would have, but a baby at that time would simply have been wrong for reasons which are nobody's business but hers. The only negative and truly repulsive experience we had at Planned Parentood began as we parked the car. There were protesters who met us at the door screaming terrible things, calling both of us horrible names and shoving posters and pamphlets with unimaginable images on them in our faces until we reached the property line. Some of the other, visibly shaken people in the waiting room were just there for birth control purposes. One young couple was crying. Another time I went to a clinic in Dallas with a friend for a small non-pregnancy related procedure. Again the staff was wonderful and with their help and services she felt she was able to conceive and now has an amazing little child. I have recommended Planned Parenthood's services for pregnancy prevention to many many other girls and women who need a place to get birth control information and services but for lots of reasons are not able to go to either a family doctor or an expensive OBGyn. Planned Parenthood is essential to every community both in practice and the organization that promotes it. Women of all walks of life and all faiths will at some time need both the advice and the options of birth control and to terrify them into avoiding a safe place to get that help by using horribly manipulated propaganda is inhumane and shows no kindness or generosity of spirit whatsoever. I was very hesitant to go to a PP, I just didn't know what to expect. However, I'm so happy that there's finally a location in my area and that I went to it. The staff is always very friendly and kind to me. They make me feel very comfortable and unlike some doctors, they really listen to me and seem to care about me as a patient. DO NOT GO HERE !!! This place deserves 0 stars!. I was so disappointed with the entire staff. I went in to get the Nexplanon removed because of horrible side effects. They charge $150 to REMOVE the implant. The doc or who ever she was is so incompetent. She numbed me in the exact spot for the incision with slot of anesthetic which makes your tissues inflame a little. She made a huge incision on my arm, was digging at the implant with 2 instruments and couldn't get it out. I had to go to the E.R which they said she dislodged the implant and thus it being "lost" in my arm. Now I have to wait because my arm is so swollen from her and because the huge incision won't stop bleeding. I have to now get a sonogram and possibly a more in depth surgery. Oh by the way they still made me pay the $150 for doing NOTHING but making my situation worse with not a care or a bit of compassion in the world. This place is absolutely horrible. read more
