    Pistachio latte

The pistachio latte was a bit sweet to my liking and I couldn't really taste the pistachio but it was pretty good and there were open tables inside so it was nice to study in. My friend ordered the blueberry matcha but it was not good. It was super syrupy that puts a weird coat in the mouth and could not taste the matcha at all over the sweetness of the blueberry. The workers were nice though and they had milk on the side that we added a bit to my friends drink but then it just tasted like blueberry milk.

Great addition to the area! I had never had Jo's before, but was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was very good and the service was very fast. The staff was very nice and informative about the company and all things coffee! This place has a drive through, outside seating area, and is dog friendly! Definitely worth stopping by!

Excited to try out Austin's import of Java. Plenty of parking in lot and dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Iced Turbo was like a hazelnut Vietnamese coffee and the hot Bungalow has a kick with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Saw folks trying out the breakfast tacos it's of families today. Service is friendly and they just opened. Ambiance is Austin chic. Highly recommended for coffee!

Was so happy to see an Austin business make its way into Houston. Loved the iced turbo & a quick breakfast taco. Service was great & the staff was friendly. Vibes inside were great on a Saturday morning solo coffee date. Ample parking space behind the building which is HUGE for the heights!!!

In a part of town that seems to have coffee shops at every corner, Jo's coffee is unique in offering a large parking lot with drive through and breakfast tacos. I was in the area and wanted to check out a new coffee shop since I'm rarely in the heights. I stopped by another place first but couldn't find a parking spot so I was excited to see so many parking spots here. It was a chilly day so I chose to go through the drive thru instead. It's nice they have the option. I got an iced turbo drink. I always try drinks from special menu at coffee shops. From the description of the drink I was expecting something to be a little more unique. It was good, just not as unique as I had hoped. It also seemed small for $6. I would come back to check out the inside and try something else.

Originating in Austin, Jo's coffee opened a location in the Heights. The floor to ceiling windows offered a lot of sunlight to the light industrial/ Austin chic interior. I ordered the Belgium on tap (which is Iced Turbo mixed with cold brew) just in case the signature Iced Turbo would be too sweet. The coffee was decent but nothing special. Given Heights has so many other boutique coffee shops that offer better tasting coffee, I won't be a regular here.

Finally stopped by Jo's to give it a try. Have passed by this place numerous times. It didn't disappoint. Really cute interior with good amount of seating inside & outside. Plenty of natural light which is a plus. Had a Winter Berry Matcha (from winter special menu) and a cheddar/jalapeno scone, which were both really good. Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff. They even had a drive thru which is not too common for the area. Will definitely return when in the area!

Super clean and quiet place to do work or grab a quick bite or drink. There is a drive-through option if you are in a rush. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were for the quality and ambience. My drink was super refreshing and I will definitely return to try their tacos when available!

Heard this place was in town and decided to give it a try while waiting for my dog to get groomed down the street. The Jo's special is tasty. Period. Can't wait to get that again. My taco from Taco Deli and no fault of Jo's had a tortilla that wasn't cooked all the way. I was able to trade it out and had a cooked tortilla on my next one. There was a group of people who seemed to be waiting a while for something but wasn't sure what was happening. Drive thru was rolling along but overall they seemed really busy but the place wasn't even packed. Probably just a new business ironing out its kinks per usual.

Tried Jo's coffee and I was pleasantly surprised. I got their signature turbo coffee and I really liked it. I think another review said it tasted like Vietnamese coffee with a hint of hazelnut. Thats honestly the perfect description! To my surprise, the parking lot was pretty spacious as well. The service was great and overall, I think it's a great addition to the heights

Overall the staff the coffee the croissants were great. Just the place itself was small. We traveled 25 mins to this location due to its great reviews on coffee and were hoping to stay. All the tables were taken (really limited tables and chairs) so we tried to sit outside in 38 degree weather, you can guess what happened, we ended up leaving. Either way what I really liked was how they greet you and the coffee was delicious. Still wish it was bigger, I don't think I would travel 25 mins again for coffee though unless I can sit and drink it there.

This place is super awesome. Very easy and convenient. The Heights needed something like this. They also are dog-friendly.

THIS IS THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD…read more Day 6 has been on my list for quite some. Upon arrival, I was met with excellent music and a warm greeting. Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

A couple of friends and I wandered in early on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the scrambled‑egg and turkey‑bacon tacos with a flat white, one friend had the chilaquiles (he thought they could've used a bit more flavor and some avocado), and my other friend went for the French toast with an iced coffee. We had a great conversation over a delicious meal and solid coffee, and the steady stream of adorable dogs around us was the perfect bonus. I'd read some reviews complaining about the service, but ours was totally fine--especially for an early Sunday morning. It probably helps to be patient if they're short‑staffed, but we had no issues at all.

I love that Tout Suite makes several tasty vegan baked goods along with their full selection of regular treats which can be hard to find in Houston (their vegan brookie - brownie/cookie - is my favorite). Outside of baked goods, Tout Suite has a large selection of breakfast items, soups, sandwiches, bowls, and appetizers with several gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. This location has a fairly spacious interior to sit and work or enjoy a bite to eat and is just a block off of the MetroRail red line (Bell Station stop). They also have rotating daily specials and half off of cocktails every day after 5pm for happy hour ($4 espresso martini, yes please!) Ok, sounds great, right? Since I used to frequent their EaDo location quite a bit, I have several gift cards that I have collected over the years. These were purchased online on their website however when I tried to use them at this location, they said that I could not. They have three locations under their brand - Tout Suite (the former EaDo and Trebly) and Sweet, however apparently each has a separate payment system from Square to Toast, etc and they do not overlap. The gentleman behind the counter did offer to make me a complementary beverage for the inconvenience but this was definitely disappointing. I recall specifically that there was not an option to select the location when purchasing the gift cards online.

Anyway, I finally got a chance to stop by on a Sunday late morning recently. Parking can be difficult, but there are dedicated Koffeteria spots in front of the business as well as surrounding paid curbside parking. I believe Instagram helped many others discover this business recently, as it was pretty packed and there was a line, but this gave us ample opportunity to peruse the menu and pastry display. Ultimately, we opted for the: Cambodian iced coffee (kayfe dahkoh) made with sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk - tasted very similar but weaker than Vietnamese coffee. As I'm Viet and have never had Cambodian coffee, this was my only frame of reference, and I didn't love it. I'm excited to try more Cambodian coffees to get a better understanding of their unique flavor profile! Black sesame mochi - sweet and perfectly sesame flavored with salted yolk at the bottom, delicious, my partner's favorite pastry Beef pho kolache - the bun was so soft and complemented the soft but flavorful brisket meat. wow. truly a brisket pho in a kolache. We got extremely lucky and got a table almost immediately after ordering, as someone left just in time. The interior is full of vintage furniture, which added so much character. As a vintage lover, I felt so at home! I could see how others might prefer a more neat, chic interior, but to me this was absolutely perfect and added so much warmth, homeliness, and character to the shop.
