    Iced turbo

This place is a great coffee spot! I've only had their iced lattes but they are always very good with lots of flavor. They have a specialty drink on draft which is my favorite - the Iced Turbo (hazelnut and chocolate). Lavender latte is also good! The tacos and kolaches are good as well, but always always sell out early so they can be hard to get. They have a drive through and plenty of parking. It's a nice quiet place too to study inside. Service is quick.

The pistachio latte was a bit sweet to my liking and I couldn't really taste the pistachio but it was pretty good and there were open tables inside so it was nice to study in. My friend ordered the blueberry matcha but it was not good. It was super syrupy that puts a weird coat in the mouth and could not taste the matcha at all over the sweetness of the blueberry. The workers were nice though and they had milk on the side that we added a bit to my friends drink but then it just tasted like blueberry milk.

Great addition to the area! I had never had Jo's before, but was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was very good and the service was very fast. The staff was very nice and informative about the company and all things coffee! This place has a drive through, outside seating area, and is dog friendly! Definitely worth stopping by!

Excited to try out Austin's import of Java. Plenty of parking in lot and dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Iced Turbo was like a hazelnut Vietnamese coffee and the hot Bungalow has a kick with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Saw folks trying out the breakfast tacos it's of families today. Service is friendly and they just opened. Ambiance is Austin chic. Highly recommended for coffee!

Was so happy to see an Austin business make its way into Houston. Loved the iced turbo & a quick breakfast taco. Service was great & the staff was friendly. Vibes inside were great on a Saturday morning solo coffee date. Ample parking space behind the building which is HUGE for the heights!!!

In a part of town that seems to have coffee shops at every corner, Jo's coffee is unique in offering a large parking lot with drive through and breakfast tacos. I was in the area and wanted to check out a new coffee shop since I'm rarely in the heights. I stopped by another place first but couldn't find a parking spot so I was excited to see so many parking spots here. It was a chilly day so I chose to go through the drive thru instead. It's nice they have the option. I got an iced turbo drink. I always try drinks from special menu at coffee shops. From the description of the drink I was expecting something to be a little more unique. It was good, just not as unique as I had hoped. It also seemed small for $6. I would come back to check out the inside and try something else.

Originating in Austin, Jo's coffee opened a location in the Heights. The floor to ceiling windows offered a lot of sunlight to the light industrial/ Austin chic interior. I ordered the Belgium on tap (which is Iced Turbo mixed with cold brew) just in case the signature Iced Turbo would be too sweet. The coffee was decent but nothing special. Given Heights has so many other boutique coffee shops that offer better tasting coffee, I won't be a regular here.

Super clean and quiet place to do work or grab a quick bite or drink. There is a drive-through option if you are in a rush. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were for the quality and ambience. My drink was super refreshing and I will definitely return to try their tacos when available!

Finally stopped by Jo's to give it a try. Have passed by this place numerous times. It didn't disappoint. Really cute interior with good amount of seating inside & outside. Plenty of natural light which is a plus. Had a Winter Berry Matcha (from winter special menu) and a cheddar/jalapeno scone, which were both really good. Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff. They even had a drive thru which is not too common for the area. Will definitely return when in the area!

Heard this place was in town and decided to give it a try while waiting for my dog to get groomed down the street. The Jo's special is tasty. Period. Can't wait to get that again. My taco from Taco Deli and no fault of Jo's had a tortilla that wasn't cooked all the way. I was able to trade it out and had a cooked tortilla on my next one. There was a group of people who seemed to be waiting a while for something but wasn't sure what was happening. Drive thru was rolling along but overall they seemed really busy but the place wasn't even packed. Probably just a new business ironing out its kinks per usual.

Tried Jo's coffee and I was pleasantly surprised. I got their signature turbo coffee and I really liked it. I think another review said it tasted like Vietnamese coffee with a hint of hazelnut. Thats honestly the perfect description! To my surprise, the parking lot was pretty spacious as well. The service was great and overall, I think it's a great addition to the heights

Overall the staff the coffee the croissants were great. Just the place itself was small. We traveled 25 mins to this location due to its great reviews on coffee and were hoping to stay. All the tables were taken (really limited tables and chairs) so we tried to sit outside in 38 degree weather, you can guess what happened, we ended up leaving. Either way what I really liked was how they greet you and the coffee was delicious. Still wish it was bigger, I don't think I would travel 25 mins again for coffee though unless I can sit and drink it there.

This place is super awesome. Very easy and convenient. The Heights needed something like this. They also are dog-friendly.

A couple of friends and I wandered in early on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the scrambled‑egg and turkey‑bacon tacos with a flat white, one friend had the chilaquiles (he thought they could've used a bit more flavor and some avocado), and my other friend went for the French toast with an iced coffee. We had a great conversation over a delicious meal and solid coffee, and the steady stream of adorable dogs around us was the perfect bonus. I'd read some reviews complaining about the service, but ours was totally fine--especially for an early Sunday morning. It probably helps to be patient if they're short‑staffed, but we had no issues at all.

The avocado toast was good, they used fresh avocado. The toast was very crispy because of the type of bread but I enjoyed it. They also have yummy fresh pressed juice. Also, the pastries were what I was mainly hoping for, but didn't see much, just cake and some packaged cookies. I ended up only ordering the only hot food available on the menu, the beef pho kolache, which was actually really really tasty. The $8 price point is a little hard to swallow, but worth trying at least once! Milk bread is soft and the brisket goes really great with sriracha. The hoisin was a tad too salty for me; I think it would work best if it had, in theme, the aromatics from actual pho, otherwise it's too heavy. The yuzu lemonade was citrusy and refreshing, definitely hits the spot during the summer. There's a bit of space in the back, and there's a patio area (though I'm not sure if it's 100% Koffeteria's, but it was set up for World Cup watching. I'll have to keep an eye on when's the best time to swing by again for their bakery items.
