Mauna Loa is the heritage macadamia brand from Hawai'i, and it was an honor for us to work with Aaron to give back to the community that we are both a part of. Aaron is from Hilo, and worked with the local schools that he went to- Kamehameha Schools in creating the mural. We threw a Mauna Loa x Aaron Kai community event that was extremely well received, and our staff have commented on how the mural has lifted morale at the plant, as it is such a beautiful piece that everyone sees on their way to work. We had some very specific interior design styling that inspired certain hues of blues, grays and black. The interior designer came in and added most of our pieces, but we left the conference room wall and my office wall empty for these pieces to be commissioned by Joseph. We had an initial call, scoped out the proposed design and color scheme settled on a price and moved forward with the work. I have to say I'm very impressed with the final outcome and through the many Microsoft teams meetings I set on daily.... I'm complemented multiple times by the artwork behind my shoulder. Amy is so lovely and kind which made my decision easier to pick her to come to my event. I ordered pre-printed paper for our drawings and it was just perfect. Amy sent me different fonts and styles of my nieces name on the paper and I appreciated the time she took to make it perfect for me! My husband and daughter were at a different event and my pups and cat were at home :) I haven't had one of these done since my daughter was 6. I had some family photos in my phone and he was able to draw my family just based off photos I had :) It came out SO incredible!! Sean is very talented and AWESOME!! I want to say that the quality of his art skills is comparable to someone working at Disney but maybe even better but on a smaller piece of paper. It's almost like anime/ cartoon like! Very impressed !!! Everyone turned out so cute and perfect! What an awesome party favor to take home and save forever ! So worth it. Def will want to hire Sean for an upcoming event.
