While intimidating at 120 lbs when full grown, he captured the hearts of everyone who came to know him. My favorite story is when we were taking a walk in Washington DC along the Mall, when a little girl walked up behind him, and her mother asked if it was okay if she pet him. We had no hesitation about allowing it, as he was so gentle and had been raised in a household with my 4 kids. She pulled a tuft of shedding hair from his backside, looked at it in surprise, and then tried to put it back on him. He was healthy most of his life, with no real problems. But he had to be put down in 2019 due to cancer. I'm going back to this business now for my second shepherd, even though I now live multiple hundreds of miles away. That is how much I trust these people and their animals.

I boarded my dog at the NH location for 5 days. He is a 4 year old lab. He came out and he wasn't himself. I thought he was just tired until I noticed his paws were blood red. I realized he must have been so active on the turf that it caused such painful abrasions on his paw pads he could barely walk. I need to now take him to the vet for some help. I also noticed that he now has an ear infection and his gums are bleeding. I asked for him to be groomed the day I picked him up but the grooming was subpar. I feel like an awful dog mom taking him to a place that barely noticed him limping. My little boy is hurt from this place!

It had been 6 weeks and about 3000 miles since her last groom, and we were able to book an appointment for while were were staying in Bristol. Working from a single picture, Lisa did a spectacular job, including raising Eliza's topknot "eyeline" so we could see more of her face. It was obvious that Eliza enjoyed her time there. The add-ons on check-out were truly nauseating. At your appointment, they gave you maybe 15 minutes, there were so many more appointments after you to make the most profit out of each day. Did they care? When your pet was really sick, could you get-in to see them? No. When your beloved pet was dying, and you were trying to squeeze just a few more days, could you even talk to them on the phone? No. At Sandwich Animal hospital, you get none of this foolishness. I trusted this facility to care for my two family members while I took my children on vacation…read more Within three hours of being at the facility, my 2 year old Maltese was brought outside WITHOUT a leash. She got loose and was lost in the woods for two full days. My dog sustained injuries to her leg, paws, and belly. The owner claims my 6 lb. dog bit her husband, which resulted in him dropping her. If you look at the pictures of this man, you have to laugh. Again, my dog weighs 6 lbs. She is terrified of everything, which I'm sure her searchers can attest to. She has never bitten anyone before, and she certainly didn't bite any of the heroes who brought her home. Furthermore, I brought two leashes to this facility, and neither was used. Thanks to the kindness of strangers, my dog was found. The owner did not apologize once for putting my dog in extreme danger, ruining our vacation, and causing my family extreme stress. She also has not contacted me to find out how the dog is doing. If she disputes anything I have said above, I have the text messages to prove that everything I have written is true. This facility should be shut down. No one family should have to go through what we have experienced. The only good thing to come out of this is the realization that there are angels everywhere. Complete strangers worked relentlessly to bring my dog home. For that, I am eternally grateful.
