We waited over 1.5 hours for an oil change after being told it would only take 30 minutes. Once we reached the bay, the technician drained the oil and then informed us they were out of oil filters. They had to get more from across the street, which caused an additional 30-40 minute delay on top of the supposed "15-minute" oil change. We paid full price, and while the technician did apologize, it would have been nice if they had checked if we had time to wait before starting the process. After our 2.5-hour oil change, my fiancé called the location to discuss our experience with the manager. He spoke with someone who is presumed to be the manager named, "AJ or DJ." The manager was extremely rude, interrupting and yelling at my fiancé while he was mid-sentence. What shocked us even more was when the manager laughed at him and blatantly ignored everything my fiancé said after explaining that people plan their day around estimated service times and that this delay caused him to miss most of his nephew's first birthday. He told him to call corporate to "complain" because they are owned by corporate. We weren't even complaining, just providing feedback from our experience, as we have done for both good and bad experiences. Most managers appreciate hearing both positive and negative feedback from customers, so they can improve their operations. This situation became LESS about the oil change and MORE about how the manager treated a customer. If he's treating customers this way, it makes us wonder how he treats and trains his employees. This is deeply disappointing because we know Valvoline doesn't stand for this in their business model, and we hope action is taken seriously. We've never encountered such poor treatment at any business and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I'd stopped by and got a scan at auto part store. It indicated my oil pump. I brought it in and originally asked to just replace the sensor as a starting point. When they went to do this they stated the issue was the oil cooler. I said alright got the quote and got the repair. I pick my car up and the check engine light is still on and still pulling the same error code we started with. Now I'm out 850 dollars and my car is right where I started. Someone else said save yourself some time and take it somewhere else. Believe them. If you need brakes or something easy - these are your guys. You have a check engine light on? They're not.
