Great service. Went in for what I thought was a major tire issue. The guys were able to do the repair on the tire of my BMW for under $11. I was quote $1500 from private lots and dealerships. So great full these gentlemen didn't just try and take money from a female who doesn't know cars. read more

These guys are such whiny babies. 5 visits to this Auto Tire location. Two other certified mechanics told me that the car needed a new water pump. They never discovered that. And their idea of a diagnostic is to just reset the engine light. Dishonest and they actually harassed my family over a review I left. I'm not sure how they stay in business. If these guys can't handle an honest review, they're not going to accept responsibility for screwing up. read more

I am from out of town and noticed I needed an alignment on my car. Went to store on Emerson in Indianapolis. Got there at 1030 and stood at desk until 1055 waiting for attendant. When I asked for an alignment the young man replied "not today!" A reminder that you close at 1430 . That is 4 hours before closing. You need to post when you can do alignments and if you cannot preform a service that day, put out a sign so people do not have to stand around for a half hour to be turned away. I'm visiting my daughter and her family in Indianapolis. Before driving my son-in-law's vehicle, I noticed extreme wear on the outside edge of the driver's front tire. I searched on the internet for a local tire store and found high ratings on Auto Tire Car Care Center. I called them early in the morning and the representative explained that the tires needed were not in stock. However, they would be able to get them from their warehouse in few hours. Upon arrival, I was told they were busy but would fit me in. The tires were installed and I was informed a free alignment check indicated a 4 wheel alignment was needed. Perhaps that may have been the problem with the fast wearing tire. The vehicle is done! Fast professional service with happy employees. I highly recommend this place for tire service. read more

These guys are great! I was out of town and had a flat tire dropped my tire off with this gentleman so that I could pick it up patched the next day. The technician cleared my computer tire pressure monitor system and patched my tire from the inside and did not charge me a dime. Next time I need tires I may drive to Indianapolis! read more

REAL GOOD GUYS... Mark and Kevin are the best guys in town to take care your car to and get it done the same day.... No messing around , they are fast and dependable and normally it can be done fast.... I have a fleet of box trucks that cannot be sitting idle for too long and they always jump on my problems and get me out the door and back to work............................................. .. I have read great reviews about this place and they were quick to get the car in BUT, they charged me $50 to take a look at my window (~15 min job), and then told me it would be $400 to fix the job. It can be done for LESS THAN $100. It was ridiculous. To put it into perspective it costs $40 to get an oil and filter change but $50 to look at my window... Very underwhelming. read more

They are always on time and have been honest about what is wrong with my car and what my options are. When I am in a pinch for time, they always figure out a way to meet my needs. We bought tires there because it was near my wife's work (SFH). She since has retired and we live in Martinsville now not so convenient. Somewhere along the line she picked up a nail and loosing air daily. Since we had 'guaranteed road hazard' we took it back to ATCCC for repair. The only thing they could offer was wait for hours or make an appointment to come back next week. I asked what happens when my wife is in Broad Ripple and her tire goes flat. The response was " I guess she should put the spare on and bring it in" which of course works great with elderly woman with their infant grandchild in the car. What happens when we 'bring it in"? Wait for hours? Make an appointment for next week and walk home? This company has no ability to triage their customers. Its simply one after another, I took it to Center Grove Tire at SR 37 and Fairview and they welcomed me into the shop, plugged the tire and I was out in 20 minutes...even though I didn't buy the tires there, they did so at no charge. I called early in the morning and they were able to set up a tire repair the same day. I showed up and they immediately started working on the car, they have a nice waiting area and free wifi. My wife's vehicle needed a new transmission. I took it to Auto Tire in Indianapolis. I was given an estimate which was acceptable and approved the work to be started. Two weeks later my wife and I found her car in a parking lot in Franklin, IN (25 minutes away). I called Auto Tire and asked the status of my wife's vehicle and was told it was still being worked on. We waited for whoever was driving our vehicle to come out of the store and caught him off guard and questioned what was going on. This gentleman, who was of Puerto Rican decent, didn't even work for Auto Tire. He worked for a company in downtown Indianapolis called ETE Transmissions. Without our knowledge or consent, Auto Tire let another company, which I found out has numerous complaints with the Better Business Bureau work on our vehicle. I called Auto Tire back in disgust, and questioned them about the incident and they said they had someone else working on it. This man was driving our car and using it personally, and was 30 miles away from the place that he worked. He even admitted that he was on his lunch break. A week later we got a voice mail that the car was ready to be picked up. No apology, just "your car is ready". When we went to pick up the vehicle, I spoke with the general manager, Mark Fink. I let him know how upset we were at what happened. Mark told me not to pay the bill in full because he was going to give me a discount for out trouble and for being upset. I had to leave for an appointment and told Mark we would discuss it the following week. The following week he rescinded his offer of a discount and offered 4 free oil changes instead. I informed him that this was not acceptable to me after going to see the place where the vehicle was worked on and their complaint history with the BBB. I told him that I wanted to speak with the owner of the Auto Tire. I got a call from Mark later that day and he told me that the owner, who is Kevin Vaught, had nothing to say to me, and if they didn't get their money that they would turn it over to their attorneys. I paid the $5,700.00 bill, and NOW THE TRANSMISSION IS OUT AGAIN (February 2010), and Mr. Fink is being very standoffish. I am forced to go there due to it still being under warranty. I asked for a rental vehicle since they have had our car for 3 weeks the first time and couldn't get it right the first time, and he is refusing. This is the worst service I have ever received at any establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more
