Contacted the company and scheduled an appointment. The estimator told my husband "send a picture and I can see if it's worth me bothering". WOW,But appointment was scheduled and confirmed one hour before the time. Estimator was a no show, no call. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Carlos never showed up at his appointment and didn't even bother to call. When I called an hour later, first, they said yes, it is in the schedule, and let us check to see where the estimator and Carlos were. And later, they called back and said you are not in our system, and let's reschedule. When I told them how this was possible, I got a confirmation for an appointment this morning and an email from Carlos asking for a blueprint. I even emailed him my yard blueprint; how is it possible that he emailed me and asked for the blueprint, but he didn't have my information in the system? Carlos Pools: 1st and foremost, our backyard is spectacular! It came out to my wife's idea in her head, and we've been in the backyard, in February mind you, just because of the sheer beauty of how it was all constructed. Carlos himself, who was on the construction site numerous times being hands on, has put together a crew that was premier. There were no corners cut, there were no, "well, it's not in the budget." type conversations. His main contact, Freddy was always here, making sure the whole project looked right. Freddy was the 1st salesman on site, and was always at the forefront with questions, answers, and anything else we needed to know. The main foreman, Oliver, walked through each step with us. How its going to look, and timing, and anything else that popped up! ~As with any construction, there were minor issues, One of the concrete guys was very inappropriate, there were a couple of sprinklers hit. General construction stuff.....Carlos himself, was approachable, listened to your concerns and his staff were there sometimes within the hour to make it right. I AM a local business owner, and will put my name on this review, because Carlos and his staff are given high marks for the completion of our Oasis. Driving on Vasco hauling a tree in the back of his truck and he drives on the shoulder of the road to pass traffic & then trying to merge into the 2 cars in front of me, then myself. There were 3 car spaces open behind my car yet he tried to merge INTO myself and the 2 cars ahead of me when there was no space for his truck and large bed in the back to do so. Great service! I initially contacted Carlos on a sprinkler issue. He came to my house that same afternoon and fixed my sprinkler issue in minutes. We got talking about redoing the drip system in my backyard and planting some new plants. He presented me with a fair estimate and i said yes! We scheduled work to begin the following week. He showed up with all the plants, new control box for sprinkler system and tools ready to start my project. Completed work within 4 hrs and left everything clean and working order. Although, in the end we didn't go with his company - the service I received from beginning to end was always stellar. Freddy always heard my asks and came through with the information. He started by giving me a design, working with the interests I had, spent quality time to help me understand the process and confirmed he was being fair. If this project was in our price range - I would have loved to work with Freddy and company. I first met Carlos Munoz (owner of Carlos Landscape) over 10 years ago when we decided to redo our entire landscape (front, back and side yards) along with the driveway and all paths and patios. I was so impressed with the eye Carlos had as to what could become of our yard if we thought beyond the then-current layout. Carlos provided an amazing blueprint that maximized the space of our backyard by having six distinct areas all flow together. There was a bar/BBQ area, dining area, firepit, hillside waterfall, hot tub and grassy area for the kids to play. Additionally, the front walkway and driveway added an amazing amount of curb appeal. We also had some drainage issues that resulted in Carlos putting in a new drainage system and a regrading of the yard. Carlos brought his crew in to take on this monumental task, and there was no task or obstacle that they could not tackle. The final result was a yard that could be featured in a magazine. We have become a house that entertains constantly as a result of what Carlos created for us. From the time of completion to present day, Carlos will still stop by and provide customer service touches and repairs when required. I have referred him to a good number of friends who have all had equally great experiences with Carlos Landscape. Carlos and his team were great to work with. Very flexible on design, made changes that were always in our best interest. My yard is huge a 1/4 acre lot. My wife who for the most part ran the show loved working with him. His team came back numerous times with pictures from a CAD system showing what the yard would look like after completion. I would highly recommend Carlos and his team. He came in at the price quoted and did not nickel and dime us on mid course changes. I have used Carlos Landscape and Pool design company for many years. His company installed a new paver stone driveway and front porch many years ago. This driveway also has built in lights. It is a pleasure to come home and see the lights on at night. I recently had this company re-landscape my rear yard(wanted to get rid of the lawn). Their bid was w-as very competitive than my other bid. They removed an old aggregate and brick patio and installed new paver stone(same pavers as front driveway) patio and walkway, exterior lighting, new landscaping, dry creek bed, drainage, drip irrigation and bark. My wife liked the bark so much, we had Carlos install bark and install new lawn in the front yard. The entire job took over 1 month and he had guys working every day. He worked out a payment schedule for us. I would use this contractor again, but he has done almost all my landscaping and I don't have much left for him to do. read more
