Sure, Hulu's work may be sound, but we will not be working with this company as there are better options out there if communication and service are important to you.

Each time, everything about the process was FANTASTIC. Steve and Kristin were so accommodating, comforting, and communicative. The walls are absolutely stunning--we get comments about how nice they are all the time. Steve is a really nice guy--he is genuine, knowledgeable, honest, and he had an understanding that the work he is doing is a significant financial investment for us and so concerns are handled compassionately, with utmost patience. Steve's crew is full of respectful, considerate individuals who leave the worksite in excellent condition each time (and I have high standards!). Kristin's prompt communication was excellent (as was Steve's) and we were very pleased that with each project, the quote was accurate. When there was dump fees (I think for soil--but not sure--they had to hire trucks), we were informed well ahead of time and told why, and even then, we prepared for the fees, and they came in under budget. Victor and his team really came to the rescue in our driveway project. We wanted to widen our…read moredriveway but there is a gas line and massive tree roots in the area that needed to be excavated. Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! To follow up, we realized we needed more excavation at the apron of the driveway and Victor again came to the rescue and excavated that for us a week later. I sincerely appreciate the time efficiency and skill that Victor and his team have in getting our excavation needs completed. They installed artificial turf as well. Ground lighting in the turf, and recessed lighting in our pergola ceiling completed the project. They also brainstormed with us on a couple problem areas like poor drainage under a downspout, and moving a water faucet to a better location. I think the thing I appreciated about them the most was the communication from Michael. He let us know when the crew would be out and visited our yard frequently while the job was underway. His quote was accurate, and I was VERY happy not to get change ordered to death. And Cesar - his lead for this project - was BRILLIANT! He seemed to know everything and gave great advice and ideas. No shortcuts were taken, only high quality products were used, and I know it will last decades. Should we have another project, we will definitely use Westcoast Hardscape again.

Oct 13 update: Our site is still having debris…read more(construction leftover piles), broken damaged fences, constant reminders to fix pool wires and tiles ,no updates or estimate for gate on time, so. basically we are stalled once again. Drainage work got done/permitted with him getting workers while we paid for big bobcats and now moratorium needs immediate engagement, which he promises and delays by week as before. We have at this point no update of contract/money overpayment returning by bank loan while we keep getting told liars on text when we resist non stop delays. Great design and installation of tasteful spotlights, mushroom lights, and some custom lights in the paver patterns. The Black Diamond team workers were fast, clean, organized, courteous, and their craftsmanship was excellent and the finished front of the house was a very custom and professional job. They were also flexible, which is probably most important. It now has a very modern, Tuscan look. What a transformation from cracked concrete! When I began my search for a security door install company, it was quite difficult, because I live in Vallejo, and I didn't see many reputable options. I eventually stumbled upon Den Defenders during my search, and after doing some research on them, and seeing lots of positive reviews, I decided to call, and schedule an appointment with them. For my initial consultation appointment, I was set up with their awesome employee Mike Carson. Mike was the best to work with, as he was a very professional individual, who seemed quite knowledgeable about the products, and services that Den Defenders offered. Mike helped me find the perfect solution for my home, and family's needs, as we needed a door that would allow more airflow into Our home for the hot summers, while keeping out insects, and also being very secure, so that we can sleep without worry of any intruders entering our home. Mike recommended the Viewguard security door, as it appeared to meet all of my family's needs. After Mike educated us on the door, its quality, and its features, We were sold, so we ordered one, and set up an appointment for the install date. When it was install day, My family was very excited, because when we first seen the door, it looked like a very high-quality, and sturdy unit. The install took about a few hours, as my home needed some stucco modification for the door to fit, but the Den Defenders crew had all of the tools/ equipment to get the job done, and they even kept the area clean as they worked, which was a huge relief, and very professional on their part. BDC Landscape did an incredible job on my backyard! My house was a new build and the backyard was…read morenothing but dirt and weeds when my family moved in. BDC Landscape came out and responded to my inquiry very quickly and were able to provide an estimate within 1 day. We did not have a design in place, however, the team was able to put together a simple, yet effective design of what my wife and I had envisioned. What was once just dirt, soon became a beautiful mix of pavers, artificial grass, lighting and retaining wall.  The team worked quickly and efficiently and made sure to go over every detail to ensure it was to our liking. Andy was very knowledgeable and made sure our plan came to life. We now have a large paver area and concrete pad which fit our firepit and backyard furniture. Our kids now have a large area to grow into and play in for years to come.  BDC Landscape was able to complete my backyard in such a quick turnaround that they were able to accomodate the front of the house as well.
