These guys are extremely knowledgeable and more importantly, honest and transparent! Nuron took the time to explain the issues with my vehicle in a way that was easy to understand, and never push for unnecessary repairs or upsell services like some shops do. In fact, he did the exact opposite- after diagnosing my car and doing some research, he found that the failing parts should be covered under BMW warranty. He even went above and beyond of taking my car to the dealership service center, explaining the issue to them, and ensuring it would get covered under warranty. All thanks to his effort and honesty, I ended up getting my entire turbocharger replaced along with the adjacent components under warranty--something I never would have gotten if I had gone directly to the dealership. Additionally, there was a separate issue with my engine mounts that they did for a fraction of what the dealer quoted me for. Now my car drives like new! However in this case I feel a great review is warranted. Our 2011 Subaru was making an awful noise whenever I stepped on the gas pedal. A local service mechanic said that the catalytic converter needs looking at and he recommended a local muffler shop that I won't name in this review. The technician there spent about five minutes with the car and then told me that the catalytic converters were worn out and would need replacing at a cost of somewhere between $2000 and $3000. Thankfully at the time we weren't in hurry to get it fixed as we had another vehicle we could use and so I waited a few weeks. I'm so glad that I did as I used the time to research all muffler repair shops in the local area, and Noubar at Colorado Muffler kept coming up as highly recommended. This week I took our Subaru in and the technicians there spent time checking out the exhaust system. Noubar explained that Subarus have a lot of metal plates to protect the catalytic converters and the noise was most likely that the plates had worked loose over the years- a very common issue with older Subarus, but he would do a full inspection just to be sure. It turned out he was right. Instead of dropping thousands of dollars replacing the exhaust system that was not even needed, the work on the metal plates only cost $150 and our Subaru no longer makes an awful noise any more. It's that kind of honesty and customer care that means I will be back should our car need any of the kind of services Colorado Auto provides.

That's exactly why I brought my car to a professional in the first place--to figure out which factor is actually causing the problem. He then told me to take it to the Toyota dealership, where they would "charge me an arm and a leg." YES, I KNOW THAT TOO! That's precisely why I went to an independent shop instead of the dealership. I came here because I was willing to pay someone to properly diagnose and fix my car, but instead I felt like I was being discouraged from having the work done. At this point, it honestly seems like they don't want to take my money. His shop is called "Prius HYBRID Repair Shop," which is why I specifically took my Prius there--I assumed the name meant he specialized in diagnosing and repairing Priuses. However, based on my experience, I found the name somewhat misleading. When I brought my car in for a diagnosis, he repeatedly told me that the issue "could be many factors" without actually narrowing down or identifying the cause. I got a full refresh on my 2018 340i. car was overheating and misfiring last minute before i got here. i had to changed oil filter housing ,valve cover, old pipes, new inner cooler and many more. their were able to tackled all in within 1month or so and top of that parts was the longest wait. Note; their shop was insanely filled with other cars and insanely busy. Andy and the crew was friendly and informative what i need to be done before things get hectic with the old pipes, so i pulled the triggered and did everything for future headaches. got the Car back and it feels super healthy and way more alive. Of all the places, I called, this guy was the cheapest and only charged me $40 for the housing cover. Other places were charging more than double, and if I went through a Toyota dealer, I would've paid around $400 just for the parts. Anyway, when I went there, I noticed he also had a repair shop in the back, so I asked him how much he'd charge to install it. He gave me a very, very fair price. He also noticed my air filter sensor was damaged, and even repaired that for a nominal fee. After looking around his yard, he fortunately found one, so I opted to also get that fixed at the same time. Anyway, service was great and prices were more than fair for the parts. He's only had the shop for 5 years, although the shop has been around for a much longer time. If you read bad reviews before the 5 year mark, it probably wasn't this guy. I'm glad I found him and will definitely use him again if I need parts for my 2002 Toyota Camry.
