Drive thru: fast service! I've been to this Carl's Jr several times but mostly through drive thru. The service is better than usual. I only order their Charbroil BBQ Chicken Sandwich... love it! The only thing I dislike is that there have been a couple of times where they have me park my car and wait because my sandwich wasn't ready, reminds me of Jack in the Box. Ordered a Jalapeño double cheeseburger combo that comes with white cheese & I asked the cashier Mayra to please make the burger plain. Just cheese & meat only & to swap the white cheese for the American cheese. She said it's going to be .30 cents more. I said why???? I'm removing all the vegetables & just swapping the cheese. I love Carl's Jr. and I had just saw a advertisement for their new Western Fries. So I stopped at this location to try them out. 2 stars because I did enjoy the food, but upon arrival I went through the drive thru and was greeted with an unclear greeting. The speaker went quite so I waited a moment because usually at around 11:00 pm, I understand it can get busy because there is little staff so I thought they needed sometime. But it was literally just a mumble I've worked in the food Industry before so I try to be patient and understanding. But as I saw two cars in the other lane of the drive thru get served, I started to try to get some ones attention on the speaker. Finally was able to place my order after 10 mins. Order a medium size western bacon meal with the Medium western fries. I would of let the wait go but when I got my fries they weren't even half way full. I paid for medium fries and got value fries I was really excited to get a full batch of good medium western fries. I felt like I kid who just got a scoop of ice cream that falls to the floor after they get it. Recommend they work on their portion size. read more

In terms of Carl's Jr's Restaurants in the area this can do better. You constantly have to check your food at the drive through because it always is missing something. Some of the workers are not proficient in English which makes complicated orders to accommodate diets hard to do. The manager doesn't seem to care at least last time I went. I'd rate this at a 3 over all. Without the proper motivation, training, culture, and sophistication this place won't get that high of ratings. Could be worse. The Downey Carl's on Firestone Blvd/Ryerson is a bit better and they give out coupons when you have to wait and I mean nice 1 dollar off anything you want coupons. The manager there is far more friendly and professional than the ones I've gotten at the Bell Carl's. read more

We decided to try their prime rib burgers. OMG, the absolute worst burgers in the world! They had basically no taste, just a slight chemical taste. Also, 4 burgers - two single prime rib burgers, an angus monster burger, and a breakfast burger were $31. That is disgusting. We could have gotten real prime burgers at Flemings for that price. A $2.50 Whopper has a lot more taste. All of these tasted the same, no taste at all. Never, Never again. They have really gone downhill. read more

They had crushed my burger and my chicken stars weren't fully cooked! When I called the store to speak with a manager, the lady answered with an attitude saying she's the one in charge and she can't do anything about my order. This is by far the worst place I have been to the employees are always in a bad mood... very disrespectful... the area isn't nice either.. I'm very used to the food you can find in DTLA, but unfortunately I was heading to the highway and this was the only place before the entrance. Therefore, I came across this place. This review is about the Green Burrito, not Carl's Jr. So my GF never tried Green Burrito, since I love their taco salads. As we went in, we decided we'll both get the Green Burrito instead. We were attended by an incompetent lady who definitely hated her job. She greeted my GF in English with a Spanish accent (Since Latinos think she's white), and my GF responded to her in Spanish. She asked for the Green Burrito, and the lady said, in bad English, "This is the Green Burrito, what would you like?" So my GF then told her, in Spanish, "The Green Burrito, that's what I want." After that ordeal ended, I ordered a chicken Green Burrito. I went through the same ordeal, ordering in Spanish and her responding to me in broken English. The lady seemed to not even know the menu, and got so irritated, she literally walked away and told the manager, in Spanish, "I give up, I don't understand what they want", even though my GF and I told her what she wanted IN FLUENT SPANISH. The nice, patient manager then came, I told her what I wanted, and that was that. Once we got our receipt, we noticed that my GF got the wrong order. We went back to the manager, told her what happened, and she gave back the extra my GF payed and went up to the dumb lady that attended us. In Spanish, she told her that my GF ordered the Green Burrito, to which the dumb lady said, "I don't know what they wanted, I wouldn't understand what they were saying". She threw our food in out bags, the manager handed them to us, went back to our car, ate our burrito, and it tasted like shit. I don't wanna go back, especially after that ordeal. Honestly, how the hell did that lady even get hired? Speaks Spanish, tries way too hard to speak broken English, and when you talk to her in Spanish, she doesn't understand. But you know, if I DO go back, I'm gonna go troll the hell outta that lady or just find out what her name is and report her for her lousy service and attitude. Dang, the last couple people who've come before me probably came on a bad day or something haha. I came during the lunch hour, which is a good time to come in and see how they work when it's busy I ordered a regular famous star with fries and soda, and my dad ordered an avocado six dollar burger with fries and soda. The service was regular fast food service, just the talking, taking the order, and at carls jr, bringing the food to the table (which other places don't, but i don't think it matters really) I liked that they had the salsa bar there, cause i got some jalapenos and put them in my burger, while the jalapeno famous star is like a dollar more! hahahahah :D I wish they had ketchup out though, cause whenever they bring the ketchup packets to you, it's never enough -__- and they're not waiters so they don't come back to your table and you can't ask for some. so yeah, but overall, it was a prettys standard visit. nothing to complain about it really! read more

5 STARS! I have became a regular at this location. Karla always provides a phenomenal customer service. She is very friendly and kind over the drive thru and she always suggests new items to try - which I love. I noticed that she always checks and makes sure everything is correct in the bag. I have two carls location closer to home the one on ALAMEDA & the one on FIRESTONE, but I do not mind driving that extra 20 minutes for great customer service. I love Carl's Jr's Big country breakfast burrito, but today I was beyond disappointed. The "Big & Country" waa missing from my burrito. It was the size of something you'd purchase at am pm for 99 cents and has absolutely NO country gravy. Not to mention i found french fries instead of hashbrowns in my burrito. Remodeled with a dual drive thru for what really? Was the slowest Carl's jr ever! I feel like they only did that to move and work slower. Shake ordered was already melted had them fix it. As i went up to pay i presented my coupon for the omelette and then Marie what i assume was the manager came to the window and said in a very rude lecturing tone "you need to tell us next time if you have a coupon" "i know you didn't know this time, but next time you need to let us know". I brushed it off and just handed over the payment and then she says "oh you're paying with a 20?" I mean obviously thats why im handing it to you! Not going back so i can be lectured. I always let them know i have a coupon and this time the order taker cut me off short due to the line so i do t see what the big deal is that she had to do it at the window. I would give it a NEGATIVE 10 if I could. EVERY single time they get my order wrong, short change me or jip me one way or another. Last time, they gave me scraps of the bottom off the broiler when I ordered chicken tenders order of 6; you know the one that's like $7dlls.? This time, the guy in front of me was getting his order corrected (should taken it as a sign), & then the manager gave attitude. Our order had a double charge & they promptly invited us OUT at 11pm to boot! Aside from that, they had already turned off the soda machine pressure and then got annoyed that we complained it wasn't working. & That was AFTER they ignored my husband. I have previously called corporate on them and service STILL has not improved. The common practice is to demean the customers and man-handle them; manager oozes ATTITUDE. Should I go on?!?! YUCK! If you want food poising go ahead eat here one of the team members was in the bathroom and while I was drying my hands they had just walked out WITHOUT WASHING THIER HANDS. So I followed her out and she disappeared in the kitchen so I asked another team member for the manger and they gave me the supervisor I let her know and she seemed not to care talking about how many team members she has here. Don't like this location very much. I came one night after work through the drive thru. I wanted to try to all natural Burger for the first time. They asked me the single or the double. I said the double. At the end, she read back my order, which I liked because usually when there's order mix ups from my experience, its because they misunderstood or something. So the cashier read back my order and said "Double " for the all natural burger. I got home and it was the single and I check my receipt and was charged for the double. Not a great experience and didn't wanna go back to complain for a meat patty. It wasn't worth the drive back. And mistakes happen so I let it go. I just went again about ten minutes ago, and I tell the cashier that I had a coupon for $1 off a shake. There was a little pause and then the lady said that there not serving shakes right now but she sounded kind of hesitant. So I get home about 4 minutes later and call and just ask how much a chocolate shake would be and the woman on the phone gave me the price. And I asked if they were serving shakes right now, so I could head over now. And the lady said that yeah they're serving shakes... -__- I thanked the lady and hung up. I understand if the cashier might not have known how to apply a coupon or something but to lie and say they weren't serving something when they actually are, just to not go through the hassle. Was excited to try the all new natural burger at carls jr. Ordered all natural burger at this particular location and the burger itself was non-pleasing in every sense; burger was flavorless. Most importantly, I ended up with Campylobacter Infection (bad case of food poisoning) with symptoms lasting over a week. No plans of ever returning to this location again. read more

Waited 30 minutes in drive thru, Driver in front of me got out and yelled at staff. My turn at the window girl with highlights was very rude acted like i was in the wrong, asked for the manager and said no MOD, threw back my change gave me my order which was very sloppy. Next day returned and spoke to general manager expressed my frustration found out there was a manager on duty at the time of incident. General manager tried to give me free items which didn't care for. Returned a month later no improvement at all. Food was missing sauces fry's were soggie burgers weren't cooked all the way and of course rude staff. Corp is being called and I highly recommend new staff members including new general manager.
