I've eaten at Egg N Bird thrice now. The first time I had the Egg n Bird sandwich and the past two times the Nashville Hot sandwich. The food here does not disappoint. The size of the chickens are honestly bigger than most other chicken places. I won't speak much on the Egg N Bird sandwich because I'm now hooked on the Nashville Hot sandwich which already packs some heat and a lot of flavor at the mild level. The fresher you eat this sandwich the better because of the coleslaw and crack sauce. While you run the risk of a soggy bun because of the coleslaw and crack sauce, the coleslaw really pull this sandwich together. One of the best coleslaws out there. However, I'd be wary of the services they offer. Today I decided to place a curbside order through their website. I parked in 1 out of 2 of their curbside parking spaces where customers are further instructed to call and notify the store once they've arrived. The online order provided me with an "I'm here" button which I proceeded to click. I arrived a few minutes earlier than the expected pick up and waited until a few minutes later before calling the store. The employee who answered the phone sounded confused, but told me they'd be right out with my order. When two employees finally brought out our food, we were handed empty drink cups notifying they "don't do curbside." The store should do better to rectify discrepancies between online and offline services. The island bird is actually my go to since I aim to be a tad healthier. It comes with crunchy chicken with a nice addition of rice, Mac salad and some pickled veggies. So I order the medium. She said hot. I was like whaaaa...... This is still juicy chicken in the inside but KFC crunchy on the outside. Then topped with all the seasoning in the slaw. I should have also asked for an egg too. Next time I am just going to ask for the sauce on the side. Asking for a friend, I mean, fries. Easy to see off the main road as it's on the corner of the strip mall. Parking lot provides ample park. Came in on a Friday during prime dinner hour and it was packed. All tables were occupied and there was a line for people waiting for their food.
