Sadly.it seems all the photographers at this sight were not pleased with their meal. How sad. Maybe I'm from a different era, but I still enjoy my double western bacon burger no matter what you may think. And they have always got it right at this place. I guess it's the bacon. Or is it that fried onion ring. Or is it that sauce. I can say for sure, but I just know it's definitely a winning combination and has been for many a year. Stopped by this morning at 0653 on the drive thru for a quick burger. Definitely not the friendliest service. Girl at the window was rude and had a a b*tch face. I can only imagine the ambiance inside... Soda was disgusting as well and burger had a bit of a funny taste to it I decided not to eat it all, shame. Terrible customer service. We are on a long road trip and we came in to get some lunch and do use the restroom. Despite having seven people that we're going to order food and probably spend $60 the very rude girl who was working the front insisted that we order and pay before giving us the bathroom code. We literally are standing there looking at the menu ready to order but she was very rude and again insisted we ordered it before we got the bathroom code. This is unacceptable I spent tons of money at Carl's junior in the past and I don't know that I ever want to spend another dollar at any of the establishments again after this experience. These people are idiots. We ordered Door Dash, and one of the items we ordered was not available. Our dasher calls us to ask if we want a substitution so we tell him one. Instead of saying "we are so sorry we were out of what you ordered, here is something you want", they said "That is $2 more, you have to go online to Door Dash and reorder". We canceled the whole thing and got a $43.00 credit from Door Dash. $2.00 cost them a lot of future business, plus I think most of what I originally ordered was ready to go and had to get thrown away. I went in to buy a little container of barbecue sauce. I was told no. Not unless I order a five piece chicken tenders. Under no circumstances could I even pay her two dollars for one little container of barbecue sauce. She said for no amount of money could she sell me one only way I could get it is if I ordered chicken tenders. They only give out two for a five piece she informed me. Drove thru to get food for graveyard shift.....3 piece chicken fingers with o-rings and a soda.....I wondered why the little box o'fingers was so light . Well wonder no more once I opened it, this is their idea of a chicken finger, literally smaller than my tiny girl hand index finger. This will not get me through an entire shift. This used to be my favorite place to go for "FAST FOOD" I went there 7/3/2020 and the Hispanic mgr on duty who could hardly speak English took my order. I used 2 coupons one for a free small drink and small fry of you order any 1/3 burger. Wouldn't upcharge and I was ok with that. I just added another coupon. I ordered the 1/3 Jalapeno burger and used the other coupon which they had to charge separately. This has never happened before!! I get home and am half way through my burger to find out there are no JALIPENOS!! So I call and this mgr who is not fluent in english told me on hold only to tell me "oh ok they UNDERSTANDED ME" ( Helped me to understand") proper english. they now CHARGE FOR JALIPENOS!" Really? If I could give it negative stars I would. I am a vegan and I asked for. "Veg it" famous star. I came through the drive thru area and I explained it. The manager or whomever was the individual to supposedly know more than the person taking the orders. The person taking the orders instructed me to go to the window where again I restated what the "veg it" famous star was. I asked why they couldn't tell me that before so I could have just ordered zucchini and fries. Me and my fiancé ate here a few times being new to the desert. My fiancé went in to get a order to go. When he brought it home we ordered the big Carl meals around 8pm. They were so nasty looking. They put to much sauce on them and the burgers were just greasy all around and fell apart. The lettuce was wilted to nothing. Both meals were the same. So I called there to speak to a manager which was a Spanish lady. She said one word to me and just said we will replace your order to come in. So I hope it will be good the next time. I had this meal before and it was cooked ok the meat was Burnt some but it wasn't like this time. I hope they train there cooks better I understand it's fast food but the food shouldn't taste like that. You shouldn't serve bad food to anything! My order was simple. Chicken club combo with onion rings. Gave me criss cut fries. Order was placed through drive thru, so I had to get off to let them know they gave me the wrong item. When I got home the club sandwich looked different. The bread wasn't the wheat bread. Chicken wasn't fully cooked. Don't waste your time with this place. We went through the drive through to pick up a couple of meals before getting onto the freeway. After braving the terrible seasonal traffic, getting onto the freeway we discover the French Fries were cold! (AGAIN) The burger's were edible, but not the way you would like. Keep in mind we were in the drive through, it was 3;30PM...cold food. I got off of the freeway and immediately went back to the restaurant, wasting my time; I was livid. By the time I got to the store I was fuming. I walked into the store and in my loud voice asked for the manager. Miya/Maya said she was the manager and told me not to be so rude. I said my fries were cold and wanted hot ones. She asked for my receipt, I said it was in the car and explained the situation. She then said I had to wait 4 minutes for hot fries. I mentioned the others in the drive thro0ugh line getting cold fries...she had no reaction. Anyway, she said she would give me a refund in lieu of waiting; she then asked for my receipt. I could not believe it, the fries I gave her were in the bag they just gave me (probably the receipt was inside. Never the less, I said the receipt must be in my car. She said sorry, I said me too, asked for here store number and name. She told me her name and said there was not card or anything with her store number on it, but I could go on line. I left! While driving home I called Carl's Customer Service and filed a formal complaint. They are going to send me a coupon for a burger and said they were sorry for the cold fries...
