First off, let me start by saying I love 5 Guys but this time we ordered for a delivery at 6:00. Unfortunately they gave the driver multiple stops and our food was the last delivery. It arrived over 30 minutes after the driver picked it up and was stone cold! There are too many other great burger places in La Quinta that appreciate their customers. If I could give zero stars I would. This burger made me actually go to the er for food poisoning. The wait was 20 mins after I got my burger I started to eat until I realized the meat that's usually cooked wasn't it was mushy at first I thought it was the mushrooms but than I actually looked at the meat and realized some of the burger was actually not cooked all the way through I immediately threw it away but after I consumed half of it. The fries were soggy and smother in oil. I'm not going to bother calling to Complain I will though send all photos I have and send it to my local health department. Don't buy the fries. This location charges $5 for a regular size fry and unlike other locations they DO NOT overfill the cup making it worth $5. The plus side here there is plenty of parking. The burgers are just like you would expect from other Five Guys locations. I was surprised by the prices at this location, maybe I haven't been to Five Guys in a while but a little hamburger are $6 and the little cheeseburgers are $7.25 I ordered 4 burgers and one regular fry ($4.50) which is my usual family order, again being used to actually getting my money's worth on the fries. When I got the bag and saw the small amount of fries I asked the employee if that was the correct amount. He condescendingly raised up the small and regular size cups to show me the sizes. I was really disappointed. I asked another employee if this was the correct portion for $5? They again showed me the cups. Alrighty!!! $34 for 4 burgers and 1 fry! I will never visit this location again. I like good quality and don't mind paying extra for it, but there is surely nothing special about their fries, let alone paying $5 for them. This was my first time trying Five Guys burgers and it lived up to the hype. The bacon cheeseburger was tremendous even though I burned my lips off with those jalapeños(worth it)! They hooked it up with seemed like bottomless Cajun fries which was much appreciated. But this post is not about the food but about the amazing service provided by the two associates I interacted with. I apologize for not mentioning names specifically but the two were courteous, welcoming and genuinely sincere. They accommodated my dog with a puppuccino and encouraged me to take literally every peanut in the box at the counter. Their hospitality goes a long way for me and my family and left a very positive impression on our family. Five guys in my opinion is better than In-N-Out. However there is some Pros and Cons Pros: There is free peanuts. They have quality service. The burgers is outrageously good. You can choose anything you want on the burger (Condiments). They have a soda machine. Meaning, you can taste a lot more drinks than usual. Line goes by quick, Often times. Fries are tasty, like McDonald's fries, but homemade. Cons: Their isn't a lot of downsides. One is however, the bathroom stinks inside. The bathroom is never cleaned. The tables are some what dirty.
