    Actual Big Char Chile Burger
    J M.

Their Big Char Chile Burger is somewhat tasty but not big. Nothing like the tv commercial. It was warm and the bun was dry. Burgers are no longer grilled fresh like the old days. Definitely not worth the $9.xx price for the angus. Annoying music doesn't help.

Waiting over 3 hours for tire repair, decided to get a bite to eat at Carl's Jr. Super friendly employees. Ordered a Double with mayo and extra pickles only, fresh off grill. It was not fresh off grill, patties weren't even warm, and there was enough mayo to fill a swimming pool. My husband took it back, and next one was hot, but with no mayo, and just ketchup (which I hate), and mustard. Awesome manager (Shelia) said please let me make this right, even gave us free cookies, and a little chocolate cake to go. Fries were great, right out of the fryer, and burger was spot on, hot, freshly cooked and delicious! Thanks again Sheila!

Pitiful excuse for "chicken tenders" Completely over cooked and shriveled up skinny puny things. It's not rocket science.

Why in the world would a "fast food" joint have the cable TV in the dining area tuned to C-SPAN??? What mindless drool! Makes you just want to run and eat your puny chicken tenders on the curb out front.

This is typical truck stop carl's jr. Reason I say this cause truck stop and airport usually are expensive. Other than that service was good . Fast service and ok food. I didn't see anything spacial for me to give them 5 star. Will stop here again.

Definitely a five star experience *chefs kiss*…read more They do service by name here so you know that it is personable and that you're not getting someone else's order. The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

She never told us her name , approached us 2 minutes after we got there asking if we were ready to order and then again another 2 minutes later. Then she had the audacity to say to my fiancee that she had a hard time deciding? We were seated for about 5 minutes at this point. I ordered a medium well burger, came completely charred on both sides with no pink whatsoever. To top it all off, before she even knew our payment type we were given the receipt and there is a SERVICE FEE? That 1 single night will make me never return again.

My wife and I were passing through town for the night and just looking for somewhere near the Colorado National Monument to kill an hour. Handlebar Tap House turned out to be exactly what we needed. A lot of places claim to have a great beer selection, but end up pouring the same tired distribution kegs week after week. Not here. They run 24 rotating handles, and whoever is doing the ordering actually gives a damn about curating a balanced board. I was stoked to see they had a special local collaboration beer on tap called The Ocho. They brewed it up with the folks over at WestCo Brewing to celebrate their eighth anniversary, and it is a phenomenal, juicy IPA. The pour was absolutely spot on, complete with a perfect two-finger head that left thick lacing all the way down the glass. The hop profile was incredibly bold and fruit-forward. We were really only planning on grabbing that quick beer, but we caved and ordered the beer-battered cheese curds. I can be pretty picky about bar snacks, especially when trying to save room for a big meal later. Most of the time, fried cheese is just a heavy, greasy mess where the breading completely overwhelms the actual dairy. These were a massive surprise. The beer batter is light and super crisp, practically shattering right when you bite into it. It gives way to a perfect, hot, melty pull while somehow still keeping a bit of that authentic cheese curd squeak. We polished off the entire basket in minutes. The atmosphere hits that sweet spot between a lively local joint and a relaxed gastropub. The service was fast, which is crucial when you are watching the clock for dinner reservations, and the bartender actually knew the tap list inside and out. The whole vibe is completely unpretentious. It is just a proper pub doing exactly what it should. If our travels ever bring us back through Grand Junction, I will definitely be stopping in again.
