    French Toasts
    Marisol H.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a friend who works in the restaurant industry in Aspen and we decided to go here for brunch. We had to wait a little because we arrived at around 11:30 on a Saturday and of course it was full by then. However, since we were only three people, the wait wasn't too bad. The place is big and spacious, and even though it was full, it felt comfortable. We also had a four year-old with us and they had a nice kid menu for him. So each one of us ordered a dish and one of my friends also ordered an extra plate of french toasts to share. French toast here are made with brioche bread, so they were really yummy. I ordered one of their hash dishes and it was served with two eggs any style. I prefer mine over easy. One of my friends ordered the eggs Benedict and the other one, an egg sandwich. We were all happy with our food. Service was also very efficient and quick, even though the restaurant was completely full. I would definitely return here with my husband, who I know is going to enjoy it.

Really nice place. Service was excellent and the food SO good! I came with my sister and best friend I had not seen in almost 25 years. If I'm ever back in Grand Junction I would have brunch here again.

Came in early in a Saturday. There was 12 of us but luckily we only had to wait about 30 minutes. Service was fast and everything was delicious. Pumpkin pancake was the best I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday morning and had an enjoyable breakfast experience as we trekked toward Arches National Park near Moab, UT. The location of the restaurant was fairly convenient, looked nice on the outside in a nice strip mall, plenty of free parking in the mall parking lot, were greeted upon entering, seated immediately, the dining room was nicely decorated, clean, and relaxing, plenty of seating, were served very soon, our server was friendly and patient, the menu had many & varied breakfast & lunch choices, reasonably priced items, my Big Breakfast choice was served barely warm (not hot) within 10 minutes and was delicious (excellent bacon), and the restroom was clean and smelled nice, the free, pass-worded WiFi worked well.

The new seasonal drink, tangerine dream, when mixed together tastes like an orange creamsicle! Highly recommend! The service was so quick and our waiter was kind and speedy! Very attentive but didn't crowd the table. It got a little loud in there but that's to be expected when you get breakfast on a Saturday morning. The taste of the pancake was amazing and it's so huge! I love the chocolate chip pancakes!

We were in Grand Junction and for the breakfast we were looking for a place nearby. We decided to have breakfast at First Watch. First Watch is an amazing breakfast restaurant with lot of breakfast options available in the menu. We were greeted by the server along with the menus and water. After browsing through the menu for drinks we ordered Kale Juice, Mimosa and for breakfast we ordered Veggie Omelette, Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, Avocado, Fruit bowl and Blueberry muffin. The service for first watch was good and first we got the drinks. The juice was delicious with the fresh ingredients. The mimosa was amazing too. The power breakfast quinoa bowl was delicious and healthy breakfast. The veggie omelette was delicious and we loved the omelette. The fruits and avocado were delicious and we loved both of them. Definitely do try their blueberry muffin. It is must to have.

I hadn't been to a First Watch in years, but my memories were proven right--it's a tasty place to go! After waffling between a couple of awesome choices, I ended up getting the Trifecta with a waffle. The texture was wonderful. Not too doughy or heavy, but also not too airy. Oh, and that little dollop of butter is heaven. Definitely returning soon!

This was a great spot to have brunch. We are on a road trip and we searched best breakfast and we are glad that this please deliver the goods there was choices for everyone for breakfast and or lunch. The million dollar bacon was amazing thank God it only cost five dollars they had great smoothies. Everything seemed fresh, but the best part of all was our server Stella, she really made us feel welcome and made our day all the brighter!! Thanks Stella for making our transit thru your city memorable !! Love your energy !! Best of luck on your endeavors!! Thanks first watch !!

Anytime I see a Firstwatch near me when I'm traveling, It's almost guaranteed I'll be visiting. Food was excellent as always. I tried their new Shishito Brisket Hash. It was delicious. Coffee is always on point. The side sausage I could of done without. It was soft and mushy YUK! Flavor was good. Texture was awful. Service in this location was good and friendly. Location was a little wierd. Tucked in a corner, you really have to look for it if you ain't from these parts hēya.(I said that in my head with my best twang accent) not that that accent is from here. Anyways, I enjoyed my experience and will likely visit a few more times while I'm here.

The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

Lots of people had raved about the Massaman katsu curry so I had to try it! It did not disappoint! At first I was disappointed to see how full the bowl was but the amount was PLENTY! I spent most of my time out on the outdoor patio, which is very nice and was filled with lots of people hanging out, making for a really lively and fun environment. However, my biggest complaint about this place was that the food was pretty bad; while I understand that it's primarily just a brewery, I was still quite disappointed by the quality, especially since the menu items were not cheap. Come for the beers, skip the food and same yourself some dough figuratively and literally.

The avocado on top added nothing, the cabbage was cold, and the whole dish itself came out cold even though it should've been fresh from the fryer. The chips and queso ended up being the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and he described it as cold, soggy, and way too sweet. This is very much an American version of an Irish pub - basically an American bar with all sorts of green everywhere. The hostess was welcoming until she went to seat us at the table right next to the door when there was tons of open seating. So I asked for a different table and she seemed put off by the request. Our server was Brittney and she took our order. I ordered the Highlander Sliders and hubby ordered the Irish Stew and the Malted Vinegar Chips. I checked to be sure the sliders would be well done. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.
