This is one of the very few fast food places open Christmas morning. We have eaten this every Christmas morning for 20 plus years. No one wants to cook or clean up after breakfast on a holiday. This is my favorite Carl's Jr in LB. The staff is so nice and professional. No matter what time of day I'm always greeted with a smile and welcoming attitude. The slowest service ever!!! It takes them 20min to take your order. Not welcoming when you come in, they just look at you and continue to take care of the drive thru. Sometimes, I will come in on a weekday morning to get myself some hash brown nuggets from the Carl's Jr. on the southeast corner of Del Amo and Paramount. Those days are now officially over. On a Wednesday morning, I came in at about 7:10 AM. I needed to wait a couple of minutes to order because the cashier at the time (I believe her name was Amanda) was hung up on serving customers at the Drive Thru. She then took my order of hash brown nuggets at 7:12 AM, and then I was waiting...waiting...waiting...and waiting...the customer in front of me had just ordered a minute before I did, and he was waiting...waiting...waiting...and waiting too. We both had such a difficult time waiting I'm not sure who won the patience contest between the two of us. He got his food at about 7:20 AM, and I was the only one in the restaurant. Still, it took an additional 7 minutes before I finally got my food! There were probably about 10 cars that passed by the Drive Thru before my hash brown nuggets were finally given to me. And guess what? They were cold! Unbelievable...you have one customer just waiting in front of the counter, and you serve the 10 others in the Drive Thru, yet you don't even take 10 seconds to put a small order in a small bag and give that bag to the customer? I felt like my zuchinnis were a bit soggy when I ate them as well as my fries.
