Today was my first time getting breakfast from this chain in a few years. I pulled up and a pretty long drive thru line but service was great. They kept both lines moving. While I didn't get to eat inside, I saw plenty of people smiling and seemed to be enjoying the holiday weekend. I got a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich, a spicy chicken and waffle breakfast sandwich, and hash browns. Both sandwiches were a bit small but had really great flavor. My complaint on the sausage biscuit was the biscuit was falling apart so it was hard to enjoy a bite that had all the ingredients. I'm mad irritated cuz I saved up points with my birthday redemption icecream for a meal and just eat it in the comfort of my own house. Their customer service gave me attitude for no reason when I picked up my food for carry-out. I got their Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich w/ Grilled Filet with Lettuce but Remove the Honey and Jalapeños. They didn't give me any of the Pimento cheese that I rightfully paid for and gave me a lot honey on the sandwich when I asked for NONE. You can report the issue on the app but it doesn't really make a difference. There were no issues with the frosted lemonade and ice cream, but imagine using your saved up points on a sandwich you really wanted and they mess it up entirely! My pleasure? Today, my nephew and I stopped by this Chick-fil-A for lunch. I've been to many Chick-fil-A locations over the years, and I've honestly never had a bad experience until today. Most Chick-fil-A employees are friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent customer service, but this location definitely needs a lot of improvement. During our visit, the customer service was noticeably lacking. While we were dining, I observed several employees, and it was clear that many of them could benefit from better training. Around 3:00 p.m., I also noticed several customers who appeared frustrated and were expressing concerns about the service they were receiving. What upset me the most was my milkshake order. Considering how hot it was outside, I ordered a milkshake to go and ended up waiting more than 10 minutes for it. It should not take that long to make a milkshake, and I certainly don't have all day to wait around. When I finally asked about my order, I discovered it had been sitting behind the counter the entire time. Another customer who had also ordered a milkshake experienced the exact same issue with their milkshake had been sitting behind the counter as well, waiting to be handed out. The young Hispanic cashier working around 3:00 p.m. came across as sassy, unprofessional, and unfriendly. She could definitely benefit from additional customer service training. Working with the public requires patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Customers should never feel like they are inconveniencing employees simply by placing an order. I genuinely hope management and corporate address the issues at this location. Chick-fil-A has built a reputation for outstanding customer service, but this restaurant did not live up to those standards. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience honestly pushed me to my limit. I had just come from a medical procedure and am currently struggling to walk due to pain. I ordered through the drive-thru and parked to eat, only to realize they forgot the buffalo sauce I requested. Because of this, I painfully walked up to the front door to ask for it, and an employee told me they were already closed. I explained that the sauce was missing from my order, and she told me to wait in my car and that she would bring it out. I placed my order at 4:52 PM. By 5:12 PM, I was still sitting there waiting for a single buffalo sauce. I eventually had to get out of my car again and limp toward the drive-thru attendants myself just to ask for it. At that point, I was genuinely close to crying because of how much pain I was in. Mistakes happen, but the lack of urgency, communication, and compassion was incredibly disappointing. Worst fast food experience ever! We just got home. We are missing all four of our sandwiches!!! Wtf? We ordered 4 bowls of chicken noodle soup. We only got 2! I also had a reward for a free 5 piece nugget. It was also missing! We paid 75 bucks and got 2 bowls of soup and 4 French fries. I called and they are already closed. I hate to do this because the Lakewood location is my favorite place. I ate at Chick fil-A and the lobby was NASTY. There was smashed food on the ground, the tables were filthy and the seats had food on them. We couldn't find a clean place to eat. This is the second time I've come here and it's looked like this. I guess Lakewood is going in the direction of the Cerritos location in terms of filth. It's unfortunate because Chick-fil-a has always maintained high standards. For a fast food franchise, Chick-fil-A serves up food with quality ingredients by a friendly staff. It may not be the best chicken sandwich you've ever had, but it is always satisfying. Packaging for to-go orders is done tastefully and effective for even a large group. Our entire medical office ordered lunch from here, and the orders were accurately fulfilled and ready on-time for our meeting. I also like their tongue-in-cheek advertisement on highway billboards. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Chick-fil-A. I placed an online pickup order for breakfast at 10:21 AM -- well before the 10:30 AM cutoff. I arrived at 10:36 AM like the app said, only to be told that breakfast was no longer being served. How is it acceptable for your app to allow breakfast orders after 10:30, but your team refuses to honor them even when the order was placed before the cutoff? If the policy is that breakfast ends strictly at 10:30 regardless of when the order is placed, that needs to be clearly communicated and enforced through the app. Otherwise, it feels like a bait-and-switch. I wasted time and left without the food I ordered and with no resolution or apology. This is my first time coming into the restaurant to have a meal, the line was not too long and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was pretty occupied but I was able to get a booth in the back close to the restroom. When I got to the booth I was disappointed at how the back part of the restaurant looked, there was food and sauce underneath multiple booths, dirty napkins, and some trash on the tables. Luckily I carry Lysol wipes so I was able to wipe down the booth I chose. This is the first time I come into to a chick-fil-a and it is not clean, nah e they were short staffed but who knows. The chicken bowl is small and can finish in 5 mins. 2 combo meal almost came out to be $25. Not worth it. They charge extra for ordering coffee and orange juice.
