I see what this place is rated so shitty. 1 car in front of me and 20 minutes later I am writing this review still hungry.

I got the guacamole burger and it tastes very odd in spice almost sour in nature. The service was horrible the drive thru had no one working it. I was the only one there so it was not busy they just were not paying attention. I drove away and saw smoke coming out behind the bushes in the back and it smelled like weed these are the two different times I tried going here and they will be my last. Just go to yokes in the same parking lot and they will make you a much better burger in the deli section. read more

Incompetent and Rude The service at the drive-through was absolutely horrible. The only words the boy at the window spoke were, "What?!" and "Have a nice day." We ordered two combo meals. He handed us a bag and said, "Have a nice day. My husband told him we still needed our drinks and he asked, "What?!" and went back to look at the monitor. My husband called him back to the window to explain that we had been handed someone else's order. Again he queried, "What?!" My husband explained again and showed him our receipt. I want to the store on Hastings in North Spokane. I cannot believe they had no A1 sauce advertising burgers in the A1 burger, and to go up into order it and have NO .....A1 sauce available that is uncalled, for. I am greatly disappointed. I know they are just down the street from the store. If I was managing that store, I would send somebody to the store to get some A1 sauce. Went there on a Friday evening. The drive thru was packed and ONLY two people were running the show. Rachel and Josh are rockstars! Not only did they alone pump the entire line out but they also were friendly, kind, and accommodating to my food restrictions and did it all with great smiles on. Some people might say fast food is all the same, especially burgers. Well, I just don't agree. Carl's jr.'s first and foremost taste better than McDonald's or Burger King, and I would even argue better than Jack in the Box on some items. Carl's is also smart enough to make a burger like a Big Mac without the useless and annoying extra piece of bread that also tastes better. As for this particular location, the service is friendly and efficient, and the store and exterior are always kept up well. My only real gripe, like so many fast food places, they are kind of expensive. But that is sadly becoming the way of the world so I guess I just have to learn to accept it as the new norm. One final kudo for Carl's jr.'s. Sweet potato fries. Not because I am a health nut trying to fool myself that I am eating "healthier" fries. I think you lose that benefit once you deep fry anything. Sorry to say this maybe the worst Carl's Jr. in a 500 mile radius. We live down the street and been there many times. Now we just joke about what will be wrong. 4 out of 5 times our order will be wrong. They are always slow slow. The Mac Donald's and Taco Bell within sight handle 10x the volume and are fast and efficient. We like their biscuits and gravy and this morning went to get some for the kids and at 10:00 am said they had systems problems and could not take any orders. We just laughed and were not surprised. The first time was at 9:45 and this last time was at 8:45 a fully hour and 15 minutes before the listed close time on their website. Both visits were with in a month of each other. I have had multiple issues with this Carl's junior and it's unprofessionalism, but today it really took it to a new level when I realized that none of the employees were wearing masks when it is required at this time in Spokane County and Washington state. from the moment we ordered through the drive-thru the guy on the monitor seemed annoyed. got the order and one meal was incorrect and all 3 meals fries were cold. went inside the establishment and they were defensive about the burger order and then looked at the fries and one container was empty and said I already ate them anyways then I told him it was dumped in the bottom of the bag. Worst service ever! Got to Carls Jr. at 7:55am on Saturday, we were then told by a rude, tired sounding gentleman that on Saturdays they open at 8am and could not serve us yet, on their website it said they open at 6am. Left and came back on Sunday right at 8am, was told again by the same gentleman that they could not service us because they were still getting breakfast ready and that they opened at 7:30am but was not ready to serve breakfast. I don't usually write reviews on fast food places but this Carl's Jr was pretty good. They were super friendly and everything was fresh, the reason I am writing this one in particular is because my breakfast item of choice is the breakfast burger. Usually when I order it I have to get extra ketchup on the side cause the burger normally doesn't get much on it, well today I forgot to add the extra ketchup but when I took a bite I realized that I didn't even need it! Carl's Jr Cd'A on Appleway. When asking for fast food I do not expect much, but this place I would avoid and just go hungry instead. The poor service was so bad that the woman obviously resented being there or talking to anyone. We were the only ones in the restaurant and stated when asked that it was for dine in and then got 2 burgers in a bag for $20.00 and change. I said that it was for here and she said "I know" and I asked if they had any tray liners or paper plates and the woman said no and left a second time. I went up to ask if they had any napkins or catsup, as there is none available and she ignored us. BUT, the service was great compared to the food. The fries were COLD and grossly under cooked as if they did not use a fryer and the chicken sandwich resembled an insole only not as warm. Again, flat cold... remember, we are the only customer they have in the restaurant and this is about the 7pm hour. Carl's JR has recently changed their 1/3rd pound patty on their "Thickburger" into the thinnest patty I have ever seen and the burger came to the table cold after I waited 10 minutes for my food to come out, don't order the Thickburger as it has the same patty as the other burgers and a higher price tag. read more

This is the first review I've ever wrote, don't waist your time or money at this location. Pulled up to make our order, after every item we listed the lady taking the order asked us if "that's all", when we're finished she says she'll have our total at the window, we pull up to the window, the guy hands us our drink and then just stands there waiting for us to pay without telling us our total, we hand him our card and he hands us our bag of food, runs our card and doesn't say a word. We ordered a lettuce wrapped famous star, the burger wasn't even wrapped more like a few pieces of lettuce slapped on top of a burger, it was very messy and very hard to eat. We also ordered a chicken sandwich, the bottom bun was tore in two, the chicken was extremely dry and chewy, my boyfriend couldn't even make it through half said it made him sick to his stomach. But the thing that pissed me off the most, was we ordered their western fries with bbq sauce, and they forgot the freaking sauce!! We frequent Carl's junior often, you pay a little more but the food is usually better quality than say McDonald's or Burger King.
