Their yelp page says In N Out style burgers, & it's true! Not quite as much lettuce, still a choice of raw or grilled onions, & fries are better! Nowhere near as busy! At lunchtime on a Saturday there were maybe 5 customers; 2 waiting for food. Got the D.Lish Combo--two meat, two cheese, lettuce, tomato, spread-like sauce; fries & soft drink for a reasonable price. I stopped in on 4/24/26 for lunch. This was my first time here since the remodel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]LOOKS GREAT, BTW The tables, chairs and booths are far nicer than I remember.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've kinda avoided this place because I remember it being expensive, but I got a Triple burger ("D3L") and a large fry for $12. Nowadays, this seems like a real deal. The counter guy was super nice and snuck me an extra tartar, which I appreciate. I'm a cheapskate, and now I can't wait to come back here. I ordered 2 milkshakes, 2 fries well done, and two cheeseburgers, one a dbl and the other a triple. The burgers were pretty decent, as were the shakes. We didn't care for the fries so much as they were pretty greasy. A couple other things drawing down the rating were: No napkins included in the to go bag; no tarter as requested even though when I brought it up the gentlemen told me they were at the bottom of the bag (nope); one milkshake was a partial loss due to the lid not being snapped on. (Yes, I should have checked.) We'll give it another go at some point, as we prefer locally owned businesses and as I said, the burgers were good. read more

This place serves its purpose. It delivers a great In-N-Out style burger. There is nothing fancy about D Lish's, but the flavors speak for themselves while not costing an arm and a leg. I would recommend D Lish's to anyone seeking a piece of that Southern California flavor here in the PNW. read more

If i could give no stars i would. no flavor at all, mushy and oddly wet? the "secret sauce" has to just be mayo or something bc it added nothing to the burger. the fries weren't very crispy and their onions rings are little string onions, the only thing that was good was the milkshake and the ranch. better off going to a chain burger place read more

Had been wanting D. Lish's Hamburgers since I took my youngest child and their significant other there, back in December. Today, my Dad asked me where we should go to lunch, and I immediately suggested D.Lish's. Surprisingly, it was his first ever visit. He had said he had been wanting to try it, but it just never worked out. Today was the day it worked out. There were three of us and we ordered two D.Lish's Doubles, one single cheeseburger, and two regular fries. The burgers were fresh and just what I was craving. The melty cheese and fresh veggies (shredded lettuce, tomato, and fresh onions) make these burgers wonderful. Dad said their fries were his favorite style and they were exactly what he had hoped they would be. He liked their tartar sauce too. As expected though, only one fry was finished. Dad took the other one home for later. The restaurant wasn't too busy (inside) but we arrived after typical lunch time. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. read more

This place is a gem! My boyfriend lives for their burgers--he swears they're some of the best in Spokane, and honestly, I believe him based on how excited he gets every time we go. The drive-through is super convenient, and the service is always friendly and fast. I don't eat meat, so I usually go for their fries and a milkshake--and let me just say, the fries are delicious! Perfectly crispy and seasoned, and their fry sauce and ranch are both incredible. Seriously addicting. I've tried both the chocolate and the huckleberry milkshakes, and they're both amazing--thick, creamy, and full of flavor. We got fry sauce which is typically mayo/ketchup mix but not this one. I liked it better. Not bad for a hole in a wall burger spot. Service is pretty slow. If you're in a hurry, you might get annoyed. For some odd reason, everyone that works there moves so slow. Place is nice and busy! Walked up out of the car and went in to eat inside, the cashier greeted me and let me take my time. Got a Dave's Q meal which had crispy fried onion, with two Pattie's, bacon, cheese and bbq sauce! Burger was good size and full filling. Not greasy and loved their fries, nice and crispy, not too salty and paired nicely with their cream fry sauce! Place is nice and clean, always someone walking around cleaning. First timer. The double was really good. Came really close to In-n-Out. I could taste the grilled onions but could not actually see them. The burger looked nothing like the photo on their website. We always love coming here and it's always been a good experience. We always seem to get the same thing, too. Me a Monster 4x and my wife a chicken sandwich.
