Spring salad with blue cheese, crumbles, and grilled salmon.

Awesome waitress, only took five minutes to get a delicious spring salad with grilled salmon and a perfect old-fashioned.

Some friends and I tried out True Legends. When we walked through the front door, we found a wall in front of us with apparent hallways on each side. We weren't sure which way to go, so went to the right. We did figure out that had we gone to the left, the only option was the bar. By going to the right, we had both the bar and restaurant options. We were there at 5 PM and there was only one other table sat in the restaurant and the bar was busy. So we decided to sit in the restaurant. It was fine for a little bit, then people started coming. A family with littles let their kids run around the dining room, which was annoying. There was also a very big echo in the restaurant, so it seemed a lot louder than it should have. We did get some drinks and food though. For drinks, we started with a Filthy Vodka Martini, Lime Margarita on the rocks, and a blended Strawberry Margarita. The drinks were fine, but lacked alcohol. The prices were pretty good though. The Martini was the most expensive at $9.50. I had heard great things about their mozzarella sticks, so we got an order for us to share. They were large and decent. They weren't what I was expecting though. For entrees I ordered the "Mexican Shrimp Gyro" which is described as Pita bread filled with Mexican seasoned fried shrimp, cabbage, cilantro lime sauce, and pico. I asked for a cup of French Onion soup instead of the other sides available (seasoned fries, coleslaw, or homemade chips). For $1.50 you could upgrade your side to Soup, Salad, onion rings, or tots. I completely missed the "fried" information regarding the shrimp. But instead of a cup of French Onion I did end up with a bowl (so that was nice). My favorite thing on the plate was actually the spicy pickled red onions. Both of my friends got the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. One with fries and the other with tots. There isn't a picture of their sandwiches, but they did like them. I was told that chicken had great crunch and flavor. One thing that we decided tonight is that if there's a bar option, we'll be choosing the bar.

My margarita tasted good but didn't look that great upon arrival.

Food: We ordered a medium-well steak, Ceasar salad, mousse cake, a cocktail and a beer between the two of us. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular. I wouldn't come again based on the food that's for sure. Service: Our server seemed brand new or something. For example, she brought out the beer ten minutes before the cocktail. She was running around like it was very busy but there were only a few tables filled. She was nice but we wouldn't go back for the service either. Ambience: We sat outside and really enjoyed their patio. That was probably the best part of the experience. All in all I would choose somewhere else.

Expectations met. We went to the grill recently with friends on a weekday afternoon. It wasn't special get together; it was just lunch. True Legends was the first place that popped into our heads. We were greeted by the typical cheerful staff in a moderately busy restaurant. The menu offers typical fare that you would expect from a Grill/Pub/Bar. I think its portion sizes are bigger than some of its competitors. The food was enjoyable, everyone's lunch looked great. Our server was very attentive and prompt with our requests. The restaurant and bar areas are clean and are in good shape. The restrooms are, well, just restrooms. Why 4 instead of 5? Expectations met. True Legends is solid, offering a solid product coupled with solid service. Nothing was exceptional, noteworthy, or over the top. Yes, I will return. Yes, I recommend.....if you are looking for a solid place for lunch, dinner, and drinks.

Caesar w/Salmon upgrade...

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch here. The menu is classic fare for all types of appetites, with the sports bar Americano lean that we expected. I give them a ton of credit for making a decent pie in a sports bar. Crust was nice and chewy, sauce was sweet & tangy, and I could actually taste the flavors of the toppings. Wifey gave them high marks for being able to upgrade salmon to her Caesar Salad. Our server was a sweetie, the beers were cold, and the prices were certainly 2022--yet were also on par with similar places we have visited in this category over the last few years. Nice place...

Thai pizza

Solid local spot! I haven't dined in yet, but every takeout order has been really good. I've tried the veggie calzone, fish and chips, and Thai pizza. The calzones are loaded and their dough is great. The batter on the fish is super crispy. The peanut sauce on the Thai pizza? Outstanding! We'll definitely take advantage of their large outdoor patio this summer.

Raw soft to touch smell bad uncooked Chicken wing.. Dangerously uncooked. I can't believe it

Had dinner there with a group of fiends with separate bills and the waitress was great about it. Delicious food as always

Good food, the server was friendly and polite without being overbearing. Pricing is fair for the quality of the meal.

Been coming here sporadically since they opened years ago and it seems that every time I leave more…read moredisappointed. Prices continue to increase rapidly. $18 for a 1/3lb cheeseburger, $16 for grilled cheese? After tax you're looking at $40 for lunch for two before even considering drinks. And after paying that price, you're not even waited on. You order at the counter and go and pick up your food, fill and refill your own fountain drinks, and dispense your own sauces before bussing your own table. The final straw that'll stop me from coming back was the tater tots. They've always been really good but this most recent trip were the plainest tater tots I've ever had. It seemed like they were air fried or something, completely flavorless and not a single gram of salt on them. This place has gone from awesome hangout, to "it's expensive, but the food is still solid" to "never again" prices and food quality.

In summer, the outdoor seating is great for happy hour. Service is the DIY kind. Order at the counter, grab your food from the kitchen window, and bus your own table. Nothing fancy, but it works fine for what it is. Gluten-free folks, you'll be happy here. They've got lots options of things we can't normally eat (fish and chips, chicken fingers) plus rotating gluten-free cheesecakes. Can't say much this way or that about the cider since ciders is always a little too sweet for me, but the menu is huge, so I'm sure most people can find a favorite. My last visit ran me about $25 for a kids' grilled cheese, a tiny cup of soup, and one cider -- which made me blink twice, but maybe that's just 2025 dining. Reminds me I'll probably just come for the drinks and the company. Still, it's a solid go-to for casual meetups and big groups that don't want to think too hard about logistics.
