Went into the location with a coupon for a El Diablo burger. At first the lady thar was behind the counter thought that I came in with an expired coupon, I corrected her and told her that it was not expired. She then handed the coupon over to another worker. That worker attempted to use the coupon code . She told me that she has never seen a coupon for the El Diablo . She attempted to put in the code, she told me that the coupon was not working, and that the computer was not taking the coupon. She then took a picture of the coupon and supposedly sent it to her manager. She then proceeds to call the manager, the manager did not answer. I truly felt that my intelligence was insulted. Couple months ago I drove past the Foodsco parking lot up on Foothill and saw a new Carl's Jr had opened. Made a note as I do occasionally do enjoy a Western Bacon Cheese Burger. Today was driving back into town from north, was hungry, remembered the new carl's and went there for the burger, BIG FRICKEN MISTAKE, BEWARE !!!! Apparently the youthful staff there were unhappy working and decided to sabotage the customer's meal. CONGRATULATIONS, got my order, drove home, ate my burger, drank my drink and then discovered a large piece of hairy, solid mucous (snot) in my drink cup. WOW, enough said, obviously it has upset my stomach and has set me on a course to do damage to this joint. I am quick to praise and hold a grudge. Therefore be forewarned, I will do everything in my power to honestly stop anyone from patronizing this business. The food is good. It's the service that gets one star. I don't know how they do it, but they can't seem to get a 5 item order right. It's quite amazing really. The order prints up on the drive thru display, then again on the receipt. It goes through the person taking the order, the chef, the person bagging the order, and, again - supposedly - through the person at the window. That's 4 people. Each with a display in their face with 5 ITEMS LISTED! What's the excuse! There was one person in line ahead of me! No one was rushed! How do you omit one out of five items? That 20%! I have no idea what is wrong with the management for not paying or training people enough to do simple due diligence and double check a 5 item order, but, from now on, if and when I might go back, now I have to double check my own order. Apparently, their super high priced items don't afford them the luxury of hiring and training a competent staff, so, if you go there be forewarned and prepared to do your own due diligence, and, to do it for free at no discount. Oh, and for reference, this is the second time they screwed up in one month. I just went there tonight ordered a Super with extra cheese and a large coke. $15.00. A little expensive but I have always liked Carls Jr burgers (when they are cooked properly). The order came out lightening speed, so I was a little concerned. I open the bag in the parking lot and out the burger. The meat was completely dry. What a majorly disappointment. I took it back to the drive window, because the inside was closed. I told the person about the burger and asked for my money back because I just don't trust someone I returned a burger to. Well the worker dumped the money in my hand and slammed the window like I did something wrong. What is wrong with fast food restaurants these days, and for customer service everywhere for that matter. I worked at CJs as a kid and would have been fired for behavior like that. New Carl's Jr. nearby. When I go to In-N-Out I always get Pup Burgers for my dogs for about $1.20 each. Just plain hamburger patties with no bun or condiments. Just plain burger. Other places offer them too. I asked the girl at drive through if I could get just hamburger patties. She didn't understand. Explained a few more times and finally I thought she got it. As I approach cashier kept thinking I know she got it wrong. Guess what? They got it wrong. While my receipt has 2 Big Hamburgers it also says No Onion, No Mustard, No Catsup, No Pickle. I didn't even look to see what was in bag until I got home. Instead of two beef patties there were 2 Hamburgers with Onion, Mustard, Catsup and Pickle. Ugggg! And instead of about $2.20 I would have paid at In-N-Out she charged me $4.26. Oh and my Western Bacon.... overcooked, dry, not good at all. I hadn't been to a Carl's Jr. in a few years and thought it was great we got one nearby. Not many fast food in the area. I think in the future I'll go the extra miles to an In-N-Out. I love Carl's Jr., but this location sucks. The first time I went I believe it was the 2nd day it was open and everything was missing! I ordered 4 burgers and 4 fries, he repeated everything correct, but the receipt only had 3 of the fries and I only got 2 fries and 2 burgers....than the guy cashier was trying to make me feel stupid when he not doing his job. I waited for like 30 minutes when there was only 2 cars in front...the employees work slow and fool around. It was just a guy there and a young Hispanic girl who don't even speak English...she told me my total was $90 than laughed and said "oops I mean $25". Bitch how you get 90 & 25 mixed up? I ordered a beyond burger at this location and they gave me a regular burger with bacon in it. When I returned to the window, I asked if I could give the original order to a homeless person instead of throwing it away, but she took it and threw it away anyway and told me they couldn't give it back. This was alarming to me for a number of reasons: not only is it unethical and (bad PR) to do this, but it's also very unsafe to do this during a pandemic when they are taking customer orders back out of their cars and bringing food back into their restaurant, potentially exposing everyone in the building to COVID-19 infection. I don't know if this is the manager's call or company policy, but if it's the latter, that is a HUGE issue that needs to be addressed with corporate. If they're doing this with my order, I'd imagine they're taking dozens of returned orders every day in each location and that's a scary thought. Needless to say, I've lost my appetite and will be going someplace else for dinner, and will not be returning to any Carl's Jr. until I've found an answer to this question. Yikes! read more

This is by far the best Carl's Jr I've ever been too! The restrooms were some of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a long time. The dining room was clean as well. An employee by the name of Emanuel who I believe was the manager took my order. He was very polite and made my experience a good one. I ordered a Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken sandwich combination with fried zucchini. Emanuel brought me my order shortly after I sat down and asked me if I needed any condiments and politely told me to enjoy my meal and thanked me for coming. My zucchini was hot and fresh and my sandwich was very delightful. I look forward to stopping at this location again and again ! They kept saying they didn't charge me but yet my account said different the girl in the drive thru charged me the order and gave me the receipt and when confronted you the manager she said idk how we got it. This location had the worst food ever! I like Carl's Jr. and was happy that this one just opened. I was surprised when I saw no one inside, or at the drive thru. But, now I know why. The burgers were totally overcooked and dry. French fries were greasy and cold, and onion rings were chewy and cold. Nothing was edible, so I asked for a complete refund. I had tried a couple of fries and one onion ring, and the cashier took them and put them back under the heat lamp to serve to someone else!!!! Other than I took too long waiting for my food at the window, when I ordered the girl managing the drive thru didn't give me all the options, did not ask if I wanted a 1/3 or 1/2 patty which I forgot to mention 1/3, then asked medium or large...uuh small? And didn't even speak to me when I pulled up, her way of talking was just giving me the drink after I gave her $20 then waited longer than usual for food.
