I work nearby and have been coming here almost every day for lunch. The food tastes good, and the prices are reasonable--not expensive at all. However, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. One staff member in particular gives me a hard time every time I tap Apple Pay--he intentionally avoids reaching out to assist or bringing the machine closer, which feels passive-aggressive. Several other staff members also seem unfriendly, rarely smiling or greeting customers. I often feel like I'm the one who has to initiate a "hello," which is awkward, especially when they act condescending, almost like they're doing you a favor. Other than the hash browns being a little on the mushy side, it was a pretty food breakfast burrito. I liked the sausage and ham, but was not a fan of the bacon bits. I wish they would just stick either a couple strips of bacon or chopped the bacon into good side pieces. The scrambled eggs and the flour tortilla was warm and soft. I was not a fan of the pico de gallo they put in the burrito. It did not taste as fresh as it should of. The tomatoes had a sour taste to them. The coffee was pretty good. At this point I started recording because it was obvious she was trying to evade a complaint being made on her. I got her name, which was Leslie. Once I was pulling off from the drive thru window, she thought her mic was off as she called me stupid, but it wasn't. I confronted her about it because this was completely rude and unprofessional. It made me more angry because I frequent Carl's Jr., but now that I'm worried about my food being contaminated or possibly spit in, I no longer feel comfortable going to the location right next to my house. Leslie needs to me fired. She is immature and sets no example. She's a horrible candidate for a shift lead or any type of authoritative position. As I continue my love/hate affair with Carl's Jr., I need to include this one. Although not prone to eat here based on my recent experiences at other Carl's Jr. restaurants, my brother-in-law was buying lunch and said that he liked this place and the food was always good. Turned out that he was right. We were here on the 4th of July at lunch time, burgering up before heading over to his place for a late afternoon BBQ and fireworks fest. We entered and the place was only slightly busy, not surprising because of the holiday. The place was clean and even smelled so. We were greeted right away by a pleasant employee who took our order and offered up-sell items which we declined. We took a seat and waited as we were dining in. My burger came quickly and was fresh and tasty. The onion rings were cooked just right (I never have their fries since they do not peel them). I was pleasantly surprised as I have seen Carl's steadily decline in quality and service since Carl Karcher passed away. The customer service here is terrible. I haven't written a review in a few years for this place but 80% of the time I've been here it's horrible. The last time I went to the drive through was about 5 months ago. It took 30 minutes to get my order and there was no one in front of me or in the restaurant. All I order was a western bacon cheeseburger. Prior to that I went through the drive and I ask for condiments and they gave me zero. I tried to go in and get condiments but was told by the girl that was making out with her bf in their car, that I had to go through the drive again. I said really but after her bs excuse she gave me the condiments. I've live her for 13 years and it's pretty much the same. Occasionally there is good service but for the majority it's been horrible.
