For fast food this was a solid four star. I just rated Mcdonald's as an 3 to four, but this one is easily better. It is a typical franchise, but the food quality is better than the other place. I rarely give a five, so this is it. The place is clean, and everything is fresh. The people that work behind the register are always in a decent mood, that can be tricky with the terrible job. Yet they trudge on. They have a nice condiment bar. With many additions that you can add. I like to drop a few pickled jalapenos onto part of my burger once and while, or extra onions. So this extra little bar is nice. Clean, a play area where a person can watch their kids. Stay away from the chicken stars, they are absolutely terrible. They would be better used to thow at people. I went to grab a lemon for my drink and all that was left in the bucket was a rotten one. It was pretty gross. The table I was at hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I was able the etch markings on it by just dragging my paper cup across it. It felt sticky to the touch. Not a place I'd ever eat from again. Food took about 5 minutes to come out. Every time I go to this location I am let down even more than the last time! First time I went was last year around Christmas. It was late and my boyfriend and I were both hungry. We decided on burgers and Carl's Jr. was one of very few places open. We ordered, waited 10 flipping minutes for our food and when we got home they had forgotten my burrito. I called and informed them of the situation and they asked me to drive back. Desperate for food I did. A few months later, I ordered a guacamole six dollar burger, I got home and they had given me a low cal burger! What the heck?! I called, a kid picked up and I informed him of the situation. All he said was "yeah? Okay." Then I started to get angry. I asked him what he was going to do about it and he said "we could give you free desert." That was not what I wanted. Never went back to get it. A month after that, I ordered two six dollar burgers and got home, they gave me 1 six dollar burger and a western burger. Not only did I not get what I asked for, I paid more for Western burger than it was worth. I am NEVER going back to this location again. The managerial staff are hard working and always bend over backwards to make sure customers get great service. The workers in general have a great work ethic. This location has extremely slow service no matter when you go! Also they get my order wrong over half the time. I rarely go because of this, but was craving their spicy chicken sandwich with cheese added. I spent forever in the drive through line, and didn't get my cheese added (which I paid extra for!) If you are the owners or managers of this Carl's Jr., PLEASE READ: This restaurant has the potential to be a good fast food place. But, it is far from it!! I don't even want to give 1 star. When the drive thru is slammed, there is NO EXCUSE for warm/cold STALE fries or hash browns. Another thing was the burgers use to look like it was put together with a little care, but slowly started getting globs of guac or mayo in one bite and the rest of the burger without. Another thing is half the time it's hard to understand what the workers are saying. So PLEASE have your BEST ENGLISH SPEAKING WORKER taking orders. Sometimes I think it causes problems when ordering and getting wrong food. I recently decided to come back after 2-3 years of not coming, I have been twice, it's the same as before. Exactly what I always expect from a Carl's Jr. I came here on Mother's Day as every restaurant was back up with 30-60 minute waits. But not here. 60 seconds to order, and about 5-6 minutes to get my food. While I was eating I happened to look around and realized that Carl's Jr is a real mans fast food restaurant. I can on 7-15 to get dinner. 2 meals with plain burgers, spicy chickens with no mayo and 4 extra cookies. When we pulled away from the parking lot we realized our order was wrong. We flipped around and went back and explained it was wrong. The guy at the window had a hard time understanding what a plain cheeseburger was. After clarifying we wanted meat cheese and bun and no mayo on the chicken sandwiches we got our order and checked one of the boxes. It was right. When we got home, the other order was wrong again. My wife called he manager and explained we can't drive back because our 3 kids were already tired and didn't want to be in the car for another 20 minutes. He said he would write our name down and we could get them the next day. I just went after work to get them and he lady at he window said the manager I talked with isn't there and she could not honor what he said he day before. I couldn't believe it. They would rather loose a customer that $1.50 worth of food their cost. She recommended calling the manager again tomorrow morning and talking to him again, since obviously talking to him yesterday wasn't at all helpful. I love their food. I've noticed a lot of bad reviews here. This location is hot and cold. One time it's great the next it's not. The franchise as a whole is one of my favorites. I love their char grilled burgers wrapped in lettuce! I wish this location kept the dining room cleaner. It's never really full, but most of the tables need to be cleaned whenever I eat here.
