Pretty crappy experience here today. I came to grab some sandwiches for a group of friends for lunch. First of all, they didn't put the avocado on my #12! Avocado was legitimately the reason I picked that sub, so that was really disappointing. I also asked if I could swap out ranch for mayo on my sandwich. The girl told me that they aren't allowed to put ranch on their sandwiches. ???? What's up with that? When I questioned her on it, she said they had some corporate policy that doesn't allow them to put ranch on their sandwiches. What did ranch dressing ever do to you, Jimmy John's?? She said that she could leave the mayo off of the sandwich and give me some ranch on the side. Still weird to me, but I said it was ok. I checked the receipt when I met up with my friends and THEY HAD CHARGED ME FOR THE RANCH. So lame! The sandwiches weren't even that good. And definitely not worth the experience I had. I will stick to Subway or something like that next time I need a quick sub. At least I will actually get what I want on my sandwich. read more

Long time fan. Jimmy john's has always had excellent service and food. I have always been able to rely on them to get me delicious food in a short amount of time. In fact it is usually faster for me to have them deliver than for me to go out and get food. They're usually here within 15 min of me placing my order. I love it. I love this place for when I want something a little healthier than your typical drive-thru food. The employees greet you as you walk in the door or pull up to the drive-they speaker. And they will customize your sandwich to your liking. My favorite is a #11 no cheese, add cucumbers, pickles & Dijon mustard...I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! read more

Good timing for pickup, but pretty sloppy sandwiches. I've ordered here several times recently, and it's disappointing to say the least. I usually order from the favorites menu and the sandwiches have been mayo-soaked wonders. As you try and take a bite, Mayo squishes out the sides of the very saturated bun. There's also a poor ratio of meat/cheese to bun. I'm not a huge fan of greasy fatty foods that's why I've tried ordering from jimmy Johns. But, as it turns out, this place isn't the exception. The sandwiches here are pretty simple for the most part, not a lot of extra trimmings. However, we always enjoy the bread and many of the sandwiches have a generous dose of mayo, which we like. My go-to is the #4 which is a pretty basic turkey sandwich. They also have a Gargantuan sandwich which basically has a little of everything on it if you're really hungry. The bread is a traditional french roll and they bake them throughout the day. They also source their produce locally so the sandwiches generally taste quite fresh. They do not pile on a lot of meat and other toppings (unless you get the Gargantuan) so if that's the type of sandwich you prefer this may not be the place for you. You can almost always expect exceptionally fast service, it's one of the things they pride themselves on. read more

Here is what I can't help but wonder when I walk into a place like Jimmy Johns. The owner obviously put effort into the restaurant's decor. How does that improve the quality of the food? Am I paying $5.50 for a $3.00 sandwich because you bought a bunch of signs and hung them around your restaurant? Maybe I'm paying for the five employees who were standing around watching an empty restaurant when I walked in at 6:00 p.m.? The sandwich was good, but not great. Having five employees waiting eagerly for me to order my sandwich so they could have something to do was more than silly. The oatmeal raisin cookie they sold me was a disgrace. The environment of the restaurant was cool. Here, fellow Yelpers, is the bottom line; Jimmy Johns did not win me over and I doubt I'll be back anytime soon. read more

I think these sandwhiches are great. I've never tried the multi grain bread, but the regular french bread they provide is the perfect amount of crispiness to softness. It is usually hard to find good rolls in Utah for a sandwhich, but Jimmy Johns' works well. I like their variety and how you can order by number. I would say it's worth the money since all the other sandwhich places around are just as much, but not as good. I don't think the cookies are any good, however. They are very processed. Other than that, everything else is good. As for the amount of employees working, I think it's great. It allows the line to move quickly. More than likely if you go in during the typical lunch or dinner hour you'll find it busy, but fast due to the "assembly line" they have set up. read more

I ordered the veggie sandwich through the drive-thru and once I opened it up to eat it, I noticed that there was one slice of tomato, one slice of cucumber, and a few shreds of lettuce and that's all. I turned around and brought the sandwich back, telling them it was a very sad looking sandwich with basically nothing in it. They opened up the sandwich, using their bare hands to look at it, and proceeded to argue with me saying "well this is all that comes in the veggie sandwich". My frustration was the quantity of veggies - I was essentially eating straight bread. They then proceeded to tell me that they can't take food back and that they can give me extra veggies on the side to put on myself. Why would I want a sandwich back that I just witnessed 3 of your staff members poke through with their bare hands? I asked for a new sandwich (I even said I would pay extra for the additional condiments) and I was told that the wait was going to be a while because they were "backed up". Overall TERRIBLE customer service and they clearly have no desire to make their customers happy. Will not be returning. read more

I love Jimmy Johns I even have worked at a a couple locations but I have been to this location a few times and I have always left unimpressed. They not only have got my order wrong but they took like 5 mins for two sandwiches. I could have dealt with the subs not being so fast I freaked but I got to my house and the sandwich for my daughter (slim 4 add cheese) was a #4 add cheese. AND when I got it opened it was full of lettuce and no cheese! She ate the turkey and that was it -- so I am sad to say I was not happy with this service read more

Good sandwiches with quick delivery, I like the 1 sandwich delivery limit, I don't often use it, but when I'm at work in a pinch it's nice to get the food so fast. The manager of this Provo jimmy johns is on the ball, real good service. If you haven't been here before, be ready for a slightly heavier than average helping of mayo, ask for less if you don't like that idea, also ask to add peppers to everything!
