So if you like the Smokiness of a dive bar, going home smelling like an ashtray, and hanging with older cool people is your thing than you're home here. I think there's better choices within walking distance. It would be nice if the owner didn't respond with a snarky comment and maybe took constructive criticism, fix your exhaust system and I would happily give you a 4 rating for an authentic dive bar. As you can tell by the owners response they don't care and not going to change. Staff are friendly, and at least the one bartender isn't asleep behind the bar (maybe they switched him out or I came on a day he wasn't there). I'll give it a 2 star rating because it looks like they're cleaning up and painting a bit, but it really should be a one. EP Listening Lounge is clean 1 block away Ryan's is a dive bar, a bit clampish for my taste but whatever Vassar Lounge has lots of parking and pool tables, but more than walking distance I think there's a new scene happening off 6th street or is that 4th, new changes down there. On multiple occasions, we've sat at the bar for 30-45 minutes with a sparse crowd, not asked once if we'd like a drink. When it's busy, I can understand waiting. Bartenders work hard and we prefer to tip in recognition of that. However, of all the bars we visited today, this was the only one we had to get pushy at for drinks. I don't want to have to shout at my bartender for their attention after I've been sitting to get a drink when literally no one else is ordering. I've spent months/years going to this place religiously. I likely won't be back. Please get your service to where it used to be. Not all your bartenders are this way. Their personal distaste for me (apparently) shouldn't be the reason you lose business. I used to talk this place up. Recommendations won't be coming from me anymore.

They have two pool tables, free popcorn with all different kinds of salt and seasonings and gaming at the bar. Being a huge dive bar fan, I truly enjoy coming here. My only complaint is that it does get smokey in there if the doors are closed. But, when the weather is nice the air movement keeps the smoke down. They also have outside seating and occasionally they have live music.

We all LOVED our drinks mine was like a boozy (honestly was there even booze in it lol) milkshake and I tried my friends, one was a special holiday drink "sugar plum fairy" which was sweeter and yummy and other friend got a baileys based martini also very yummy.
