The best part of this bar is the regulars. People ordering drinks are friendly, welcoming, and kind. The bar owner is also this way- she is a joy and largely the reason this place became my favorite haunt. Over time, my desire to visit and spend money here has waned. On multiple occasions, we've sat at the bar for 30-45 minutes with a sparse crowd, not asked once if we'd like a drink. When it's busy, I can understand waiting. Bartenders work hard and we prefer to tip in recognition of that. However, of all the bars we visited today, this was the only one we had to get pushy at for drinks. I don't want to have to shout at my bartender for their attention after I've been sitting to get a drink when literally no one else is ordering. I've spent months/years going to this place religiously. I likely won't be back. Please get your service to where it used to be. Not all your bartenders are this way. Their personal distaste for me (apparently) shouldn't be the reason you lose business. I used to talk this place up. Recommendations won't be coming from me anymore. read more

My husband and I stopped into the Alibi for a quick drink after having dinner at Los 4 Vientos next door. What a cool vibe this place has! The crowd was diverse and bartender was super friendly. They have a huge selection of liquor, particularly bourbons (which made my husband happy). Fun songs were playing on the electronic jukebox thing (I don't know what it's called lol). They have a huge wooden Connect Four game and we played best of three (I proudly won). We will definitely be back for a rematch and a few more cocktails. read more

Probably the best little dive bar in town. I really do love this place and the bartenders are amazing. They take the time to learn your name and even remember your drink. Pricing is on point at about $5-$7 a drink! There is a juke box "touch tunes" and a giant connect 4 and even a large jenga game to play. a couple tables have the checkers/chess layout but I've never seen anyone play. There are a few televisions to watch whatever movie or game happens to be on. They do have some snacks (chips and the like). But you can take in food from outside no problem. There is a mexican place next door, but they close at 9/10pm. Parking out front can be a challenge, but there is also parking out back. Also a heads up, you are allowed to smoke indoors here, so be aware of that if you have a sensitivity. read more

Possibly the best bar in town. The bartenders are all amazing and easy to talk to. The crowd is pretty diverse in age/ style/ sobriety haha and have made my times there some of my favorite nights out. They have giant connect 4, jenga, chess, and slots, so you can have fun all night. Nice little neighborhood bar off of Wells. The place we were going to go was closed on this Sunday evening so we figured we would try this. Yelp said cash only so we were prepared but when we got there we found out they recenlty started accepting credit cards. Drinks were reasonably priced at $6 The bartender provided good service. When we walked in, we paused and found ourselves directly under a speaker so we moved to the end of the bar where we could hear each other. At one point I noticed a bottle of Galliano on the bar and asked him what it tasted like. I know we always had it around the house when I was a kid but couldn't remember what the flavor was. He happily and proactively poured a taste for me. At one point he changed the station on the TV and even asked if the show and the volume were okay. I would gladly go back. read more

I have been coming to the Alibi for almost 10 years. The night bar tenders have always been awesome, super friendly, funny, on point and mix amazing drinks. I have hardly ever seen a fight and it feels like my Cheers. The alibi is a "dive bar" however, it is one of the nicer "dives" this "bar fly" has had the pleasure of being a customer. I drove past this place a few times and thought it was closed well I went in for the first time and I gotta say I'm really feeling this place in a little corner of town Nick was my bartender on both nights I came in ,solid dude and the beers are fairly priced like how small and comfortable it is .I go to alot of bars and consider myself a "dive bar" connoisseur and I could see myself making this my go to drinking spot . Only thing I noticed is the joint is small and if everyone lights up a cig it can get smokey but oh well I can deal with it just because I don't smoke doesn't mean others can't. read more

Definitely a smoker's bar. But the customers and bartender were friendly on my visit here. I arrived and walked into this dark bar and couldn't find a comfortable place to sit. And then the stench of cigarette smoke really set in. I was going to walk out but a friendly customer invited me to sit at the bar. I stayed for one drink. The bartender went out of his way to be friendly. I looked around the bar and literally half the people in there were smoking.
