It seems like Carmax is catering to desperate individuals? $71-$600 for a 2015 VW CC in good condition runs well no issues etc. Get the F ck outta here.... I will either trade it in or sell privately.

What a great experience we had!! I liked it because: Easy and quick inspection process. Covid friendly. They took so many precautions. Excellent customer service. Impecable location inside. Huge variety of used cars.

My new Hyundai Tucson from CarMax!

Just wrapped up hands down the BEST car-buying experience I've ever had--huge shoutout to Jeremiah…read moreat HGreg From the jump, he was straight-up, no games, no pressure, and actually listened to what I wanted (rare these days). He made the whole process smooth, fast, and honestly... enjoyable. Every question I had, he answered. Every detail, handled. No runaround, no surprises--just solid, professional service the whole way through. If you're tired of the typical dealership nonsense and want someone who actually has your back, go see Jeremiah at HGreg. Dude sets the standard. 10/10 experience--would absolutely buy from him again.

Arrived at the time of appointment and greeted with a sales reps that didn't know the meaning of a smile. Then only to find out the car we came to see wasn't available at the dealer and it was at the west palm beach location going through an inspection! Why??? Why confirm appointments and why post the vehicle being available at Doral when it wasn't. False advertisement and bait and switch tactic likely. However, luckily my son was also interested in other vehicles at the location so it kinda worked out. Another issue as well was their key management system as they seem to have a hard time finding keys for the car we where interested in and when found and ready for a test drive, they had trouble finding keys for cars that were blocking us in. Advice to call the dealer directly to confirm availability compared to dealing with the online customer service. And be prepared to wait! Everything else is also true about other reviews with the high dealer fees of $1299 and a mandatory protection plan that's $1699 which along with sales tax and title and tag fees will likely add $4000-$5000 extra for your out the door price. Although it's all extra fluff, it's common with many dealers so continuing your search for a car anywhere else you may encounter similar outrageous fees.

I cannot believe I am writing this, but I actually had a great experience here. I was in the market…read morefor a used car, and via CarGurus.com, I found a current model year Honda CRV with very, very low miles here. I called ahead and confirmed they had it. When we arrived, Simon was ready to show us the car. We took a quick test drive and then returned to the dealership to engage in the usual song and dance. Simon returned from the manager's office with the typical BS stuff tacked on, and we had other cars to look at, so we departed. After looking at all of our options, we thought the CRV here was the best. I texted with Simon the following day and asked for the add ons to be removed and negotiated the dealer fee down a little. Much to my surprise, we were able to quickly agree and come to a deal. The only catch was that I needed to finance the car to get the advertised low price, but they said I could pay it off before the first payment. Juan, the finance manager, was great - no BS, no games. I ran all of the documents through Claude AI and confirmed that there were no tricks, no secrets, no "gotchas". We were able to e-sign the documents from home. I ubered to the dealership and arrived at 12:30. I was in the car exiting the lot at 12:54! It seriously could not have been easier. Please be advised that they keep the dealership refrigerated to arctic levels, so if you need to spend anytime there for negotiation or credit approval, bring a sweater! And a coat! And maybe some gloves! Kudos to Simon and Juan for not being the stereotypical vultures! This was a really relaxed and stress free process.

Modesto, "Mo" the sales manager has been very accommodating with an issue I had. I have a lot of faith and confidence and recommend them to anyone looking for an Alfa Romeo. I believe I was treated with respect and fairly.

Where do I even begin…read more I'm not someone who typically writes reviews, but my recent experience absolutely warrants one due to the unethical and deceptive practices surrounding my purchase of a 2023 Chevrolet pickup truck. In December 2025, I was searching for a very specific vehicle. This dealership had exactly what I was looking for -- a truck that was reasonably priced, essentially brand new, with extremely low mileage (around 100 miles). I was told the vehicle had never been sold and had been sitting on the lot. The truck itself was in excellent condition. The only issue was that it was missing two basic items: an interior plastic dashboard side panel and floor mats. Our salesperson, Francisco, explicitly assured us that both items would be ordered and provided after the purchase. Based on that assurance, I moved forward with the transaction. I completed all paperwork, signed all documents, and before leaving the dealership, Francisco again reassured me that the missing parts would be ordered for pickup. Fast forward three weeks -- I receive a call from Francisco stating that because I did not use their in-house financing and instead used a pre-approved Bank of America loan (which is how I purchase my commercial vehicles), the dealership would no longer honor providing the missing parts. His justification was that the vehicle was already "discounted." Let that sink in. After directly asking if this was truly their final position -- refusing to honor a promise over parts worth no more than $150 -- the answer was yes. This is a textbook example of unfair and unethical business practices. Promises were made to close a deal, then conveniently walked back once the transaction was complete. That behavior speaks volumes about how this dealership operates and how little they value integrity or customer trust. As a result, this matter will be escalated and addressed formally. What could have been resolved easily is now something that will cost them far more due to their own actions. Buyers beware. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this dealership.
