    Has to come in to get my front license plate attached to my car, even though it took longer than expected, Brian kept me updated throughout the whole process. A nice surprise was that they filled my gas tank on full (1/4 tank) which was much appreciated!

    I want to sincerely recognize Alex, one of the store managers, for the exceptional way he handled a very complicated situation I was dealing with. He was thoughtful, calm, patient, and genuinely took the time to listen and understand everything that had happened. He didn't rush through it or make assumptions -- he heard me out fully, and addressed the issue clearly, respectfully, and in line with the company's policies. I had been prepared to escalate the matter further, but Alex resolved it professionally and thoroughly. His approach is exactly what you hope for when dealing with any customer service issue, especially one that's already been stressful. He truly went above and beyond. I also want to acknowledge Josh, who did his best to assist before I was able to speak to a store manager. He was courteous and made a solid effort to help. Before Alex stepped in, I spoke with Trish, the other store manager, and unfortunately, that experience was very different. From the beginning, she came across as dismissive and unwilling to engage. I had taken the time to write out the situation -- because it was complex -- and asked her if she would read it. She refused. Instead, she said something like, "We'll just call the other store," even after I explained that the other store had already failed to follow through and that I couldn't rely on them to resolve the problem. I had to return my car and arrange another loaner vehicle -- it had become a major inconvenience. When I asked if someone else like a regional manager I could speak with me, she said "Yeah, I'll find someone else to talk" and just walked away mid-conversation. The interaction felt cold, negative, and rushed. Even my children commented afterward on how unwelcoming her attitude was. It should not take a second store manager being called in to receive basic respect, listening, and problem-solving. Store leadership should reflect professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to actually support the customer. Alex embodied all of that -- and I'm very grateful he stepped in.

    My work schedule is extremely demanding and fluctuating. When most establishments would disconnect, Amanda Santiago is great at communicating promptly with me via text and email to schedule or reschedule my vehicle service appointments. I truly appreciate Amanda's willingness to assist in resolving and overcoming hurdles, rather than pass me off to another department or person. Whenever I interact with her in person, I'm greeted with a smile and we laugh and chat about whatever issues my car may be having. I have less anxiety due to her customer service skills. I'd like to acknowledge her hard work on a public platform and request this note be forwarded to her manager please. Thank you, Anthony Rodriguez

    So I randomly went on the Carmax app and started browsing range rovers. Since this is the car I have wanted forever. I saw a black Range Rover on the app and my heart went pitter patter pitter patter lol I reserved a test drive online. And a sales person reached out to me to ask questions and get me pre approved over the phone. Lomax was my sales guy once I got to the Carmax facility in Norco. This guys job was incredibly easy lol Numbers were already run beforehand and I was pre-qualified for the Rover. The only thing left to do was test drive. Lomax checked my DL and insurance, and sent me on my 20 minute test drive. I loved how she drove instantly! I was a little intimidated about all of the buttons and functions, since I didn't know how to use any of them lol (My boyfriend helped out with that later). After the test drive, I signed my life away. And I am a happy customer. I love my new rover!!!! I named her Raven.

    Review based on service and how easy the trade in process was. First of all, I want to shout out RJ he was so helpful in explaining the process of trading my car in and what the reports meant and even sharing his knowledge and opinion on different cars I had some interest in. At the end I just traded my car in but if I do go back to further look into a car I liked I will absolutely want to work with RJ again. As for the place it's big and clean and stocked and I would recommend you check it out to buy or sell.

    I went to the CarMax in riverside and left disappointed but when I came to this one it was the total opposite. Their customer service was excellent, 3 people were helping me with the process and they were all wonderful. Shoutout to Ryan,Nathan, & Joshua for assisting me. After being in a total loss and looking for a new car with a reasonable payment CarMax did have great options, the vehicle itself was taken care of & I appreciate them for washing it & putting gas on it before we took it. The only downside of the process was that they needed my physical social and I was not prepared for that, had to drive back home (mind you I live two hrs away) So just make sure you have documents ready so you don't have to go back & forth. Only reason for coming here was because my parents live in this area and my dad was helping me co-sign. Either way Nathan was able to take us right away after I had my information and I appreciate that so much. Overall , I am happy with my purchase and for their warm service.

    My son visited this store after having a car shipped for review. He ended up purchasing the car and if it wasn't for the great customer service by RJ, Oscar and the team at Carmax my wife and I would have probably gone to another store. We came to the Norco location tonight hoping to have the same experience and we were not let down. We met Nick and he took such good care of us. He did everything we asked and made sure we were well informed and had an opportunity to see all the cars we were interested in. Nick also made some suggestions to compare with which made the experience so much better. This location is new but they sure run with a great team and act like they have been doing this for years. The store appears small when you look at it but be ready to be surprised and bring your walking shoes because they have a large lot with a big variety of vehicles with all different trims. Thank You Nick and Norco Carmax...

    Carmax Norco proved me wrong on so many levels. A few weeks ago I was involved in a hit & run with my car totaled. My husband and I are very busy and can't be without a car. Once we found out my car was being totaled the very same day we went searching and hunting for our next car. I wanted an Acura. Went to the dealer in Riverside no one assisted or approached us. We looked broke I guess ( although my down payment was going to be half of the car price) went over to Honda of Riverside with 6 sales people standing outside not a single one greeted us for about 15 minutes. Only as I started to leave did someone approach us. But it was to late customer service is so important to me I was over it. Started calling Acura dealers in other counties. Did you know there's a covid "accessory fee" that dealerships are adding? Between $2500-$5000 per car additional over MSRP? I had heard about but it's very real and they're all doing it. So go ahead and look up car prices online and add that fee to it. Then they'll add taxes and registration. Some dealerships are also getting sued for this fee and taking advantage. Another story another time. My mother had used Carmax about 5 years ago. I wasn't all excited about it but I knew how nice they were. So I decided to head over to the Norco location because they had a nice selection and I thought if I could find a used one that's fairly new why not give that a try. I was assigned Ryan. Ryan was sooo patient and pleasant with me. I must have dragged him around for a few hours trying to find a car. He understood how urgent it was for me to get a car and he knew I was picky. Yes some cars on the lots weren't great but they were older ones. Ryan searched other carmax's for me with my criteria's. Also out of the blue comes a spunky lady named Trish wanting to know how we were and if we were being treated right. She gave my son some coloring books and offered us drinks and started hanging out with us. I was floored we hadn't even picked out a car or said we were going with carmax and we were treated well. I instantly loved and Ryan. Ryan wasn't phony cheesy car sales man Ryan would also be honest with the cars I had questions about and give an honest opinion. Like we could find a better car or this model will cost this much for maintenance in the future. He found one at another location my husband and i decided to drive to that location and check it. It was perfect. I immediately text Ryan and within 10 minutes our car was being transferred to the Norco location. Easy peasy. We pre financed over the app and then started the financing process over the phone. My car was ready a few days later. Also what I do like better about CarMax is their MaxCare program. My car is covered up to 100,000 miles or 5 years if ANYTHING goes wrong take it in and my deductible is $50. My mother bought an older older car from carmax 9 year old car and MaxCare NEVER gave her a hard time when something went wrong with her car. They took it in and gave her a rental car no stress or questions asked and they would fix her car like nothing. I'm eating my words. Carmax is the BEST. Definitely ask for Ryan. You'll thank me later Ryan has world class customer service. I'm gonna drop a photo of them. LOL

    I called to schedule an appointment and the service agent was rude. She said she would transfer me and just hung up the phone :(

They lure you in with "deals" on their website, but the reality is much darker. My monthly payment was DOUBLE what their calculator promised. Without my consent, they padded the loan with $6,500 in hidden fees ($4k for GPS and $2.5k for a warranty). To make matters worse, they charged me for emissions testing but never did the smog check--I had to pay for it myself months later! It is unjust and predatory. When we decided to talk numbers all this sudden it was told to me the car was $9,950.. I said no wait the car is $8695 and I proceeded to show the image of the car on these site. Tony got louder and more intense tone saying something that made no sense and then said "look I'm not going to go back and forth with you on numbers" Still being interested and I don't like to argue I sat silent. Then AFTER running my credit which I NEVER approved of!!! They presented me with numbers. A random KBB page (not official) because we ran the car too and it didn't line up with his page here. Also, being concerned with the random $1,999 fee with no explanation I asked. Turns out it's the "protective tape" Placed along the door edges and behind where the door handle is. This has a "lifetime" warranty and there because those areas get "scratched" more often. For $2k?!? No, no thank you! I bet you it cost them maybe $25. I don't care I don't want to spend $2k on that. Then... once going to my bank and getting all the details knowing we are about to be squeezed for $3k for nothing - Tony calls me and wants to now be put on the phone with my bank to argue the value of the car to be what he states and not what kBB actually shows.
