Here is the Bait. Please Fine these Shysters. An entire afternoon flushed .

I hope the Attorney General closes this place down. The definition of bait and switch they sent me an offer for 29 grand I get into the store. They start writing me a check for 25 grand. They tell me without zero with zero articulation explaining why they offered four grand less when they said the offer was good for 7 days. I was on day two so $29,000 should have been paid as quoted in the vehicle appraisal.

I'm in the market for a new car and have my eyes set in the C300 Mercedes. Decided to go to CARMAX in Scottsdale since my current vehicle is through them. I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I entered. My sales representative Mike was super helpful and totally honest with me about my options. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing or jerked around as a woman shopping alone. They made me feel comfortable and explained my options in detail. Although I decided to hold off on buying at that time I will be coming back once I am. The staff cares and doesn't treat you like a dollar sign.

We have been looking for a car for our daughter for several months, and have been all over the valley to different dealerships. Not one of them was as smooth and friendly as CarMax! We went in on a Wednesday, they had exactly what she was looking for and it met all of our criteria. Kyle was our sales person. He was extremely helpful and kind. We didn't feel any pressure, and they held the car for us so my husband could return from work travel and be there during the purchase. It was a no haggle, no pressure, very transparent sale! And the best part is my daughter is thrilled!! Thank you Kyle!

Logan was our car salesman and helped narrow down the options in my budget for the Forester Hybrid. When we arrived for a test drive he had the car parked in the shade and ready to go. We had completed the credit application ahead of time so that made financing even easier since they had it pre approved when we got there for the test drive! Logan and Colton the sales manager worked really hard to make the numbers work. They were fast and efficient with the trade in value of my Ascent. Once we agreed on the pricing they got me over to Justin in finance who had all the paperwork ready to go. Overall this was an amazing car buying experience. I'm incredibly thankful to have a beautiful brand new Forester Hybrid today thanks to Logan, Colton, and Justin! Highly recommend this dealership if you're in AZ looking for a car!!

I purchased a vehicle here in mid-June. Right away we noticed the a/c wasn't adjusting properly…read more Level 3 out of 6 fan speeds was the highest it went. The lever to drop the 3rd row seat was also broken. Alignment was pulling to the right HARD. I took it to be serviced and they fixed the 3rd row seat lever, but said there was nothing wrong with the A/C or anything else on the 20-something point inspection. I took their word for it, trusting the professionals and hoping they were being straightforward, honest and servicing with integrity. 2 weeks later, I got an alert to service the batteries in the vehicle. I also tried the 3rd row seat lever for the first time since it was replaced, and it very easily snapped off again. I could not get it back in for a service appt right away as I work long hours, beyond their business hours, and work 2 jobs to keep food on the table in this trying economy. I made an appointment for Friday, 8/21, at a closer Autonation (Subaru Scottsdale is nearly an hour away from me), but was told they did not have loaner vehicles and I have to other means of transportation for myself and my 4 kids while my car is being serviced. I had to take my daughter to college at NAU that weekend, came back and made an appt for first thing Monday, 8/24. At that appointment, I was told my warranty expired ~300 miles ago (the distance to and from Flagstaff, ironically). I told them that the battery should not have died that quickly if it was truly "good" when I purchased it. I also advised them that the lever they just repaired broke again, and that the mechanism inside the handle is catching, and causing the plastic handle to snap every time you use it. I had to speak with the GM about it, because the invoice for the AUX and main battery, and the 3rd row seat repair, was over $1000! I'm sorry, but a single mom simply does not have to spend on a car she's had less than 90 days. I said, "You sold me a car with a battery on the end of its life, 2 months in it needs to be replaced, it feels wrong to make ME pay for this when i've only used the vehicle to commute to and from work and get my kids to and from school (all within a 5 mile radius), so I know it wasn't something I did. The battery was bad when I bought it. I also don't feel like I should have to pay for the seat repair when it was broken when I purchased the car, repaired and then broke again." The GM was rude, argued with me over the phone about it, and then hesitantly agreed to replace the batteries, "but YOU will have to pay for the 3rd row seat repair'. $140 for a $5 part and 1 screw to replace it (looked up after, I could've done this myself ), but whatever, I agreed to pay it. Overall, I feel like I was scammed. My A/C still maxes out at 3/6 fan speed, the alignment is still pulling to the right. And I'm afraid to put the 3rd row seat down in fear that they didn't fix the mechanism that is catching and breaking the handle, and it'll probably break again next time I try. This vehicle may not be a "lemon" in the sense that it is non-drivable. But as soon as my warranty expired, it feels like every little thing is falling apart. It is extremely discouraging as a consumer. A little empathy would've gone a long way. If the GM was kinder in our interaction, if he tried to relate on a basic human level and understand why I was so upset, I might feel differently about this interaction. I was told they "could not replicate" the A/C issue, but if you turn the vehicle on and try each fan speed, you can VERY CLEARLY see that it maxes out at 3. Level 4, 5 and "MAX a/c" are all the same as the 3rd fan speed. Sure, this doesn't affect the drivability of the car, but in AZ, when it's over 110, and my kids are sweating in the back seat of a car I purchased less than 90 days ago, it puts a bad taste in your mouth for sure. I thought this dealership was less "sharky" than others, but they sure fooled me. I will not be returning for services here, and frankly, I have buyers remorse now when I was SO EXCITED and happy with my purchase initially. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone who does NOT want to find a 10-point list of things wrong with your vehicle as soon as the warranty expires. Do better, Subaru Scottsdale.

I went in ready to purchase a vehicle -- not just browsing, but serious and ready to move forward. The salesman, Jake, ran my credit, which I agreed to because I trusted that meant they'd actually follow through and help me find the right car. Unfortunately, I was told I wasn't approved for the vehicle I initially had my eye on. That's fine -- these things happen. So I asked Jake to look into sourcing a Tesla Model 3 instead, which was well within the amount I was actually approved for. That's where things fell apart. After running my credit, I got completely ghosted. No follow-up call, no text, no email -- nothing. For a dealership to pull a hard inquiry on someone's credit and then just disappear when it's time to actually help them buy a car is unacceptable. I don't take having my credit run lightly, and I expect a basic level of follow-through when a dealership does so. Needless to say, I didn't wait around. I went to another dealership just a couple of days later and drove away with a car. If you're looking for a dealership that actually respects your time and your credit, I'd think twice before working with Jake at Auto Boom.

Being based in California, I was also pretty hesitant about buying a car out of state from Bell Lexus in Arizona, but David Jensen completely changed my mind. Right from the start, David never made me feel pressured. He took the time to listen to what features and packages actually mattered to me, and he was completely transparent about both the car and the pricing. Finding a 2026 Lexus RX 450h+ locally was a nightmare--dealerships across Northern and Southern CA (and even NV) acted like they were doing me a favor just talking to me. Half of them didn't reply to emails, took days to return calls, or refused to give a written quote. David, on the other hand, was lightning-fast with his responses over text, phone, and email. What stood out the most was that he didn't disappear after the deal was signed. He kept me updated while finance finished up, walked me through the shipping process from Arizona, and even made sure I knew exactly what to do for California DMV registration. After buying several cars in CA over the years, this was by far the smoothest and most stress-free experience. If you're looking for a Lexus, do yourself a favor and reach out to David Jensen at Bell Lexus. He's as genuine as they come, and he's definitely my go-to guy for any future purchases.
