This is the absolute worst car dealership I've ever dealt with. AVOID at all costs, especially the salesman Gary Buffington, they sold me a Cadillac Escalade FULL OF ISSUES and hid them intentionally until I drove it off the lot. First red flag was Gary said I could take the vehicle to MY mechanic but would only give me one hour from leaving the lot (the mechanics shop was 45 mins away) The engine mount was broken on one side WHEN it came off the lot and we could feel it when driving, & there was an airbag warning. I called Gary Buffington and he said and I quote: "you need to wait to submit it to the warranty company so it's not a red flag to them" LOL We fought tooth & nail to get them to take in the vehicle to inspect it, once they FINALLY did, they said they test drove it and nothing was wrong. We proved to them there was an issue & they finally repaired the ONE engine mount after running us around for days. But never touched the LOST of other major problems. I have only used my vehicle for a WEEK out of the months I've had it because it's been in the shop the rest of the time. Air bag problems, electrical issues, my car is getting towed right now because it won't start after coming out of the shop for the third time. Gary Buffington had the NERVE to call me on my birthday to "wish me a happy birthday" after completely screwing me over financially with this vehicle. I would NEVER EVER buy from another Penske dealership or recommend this location. They are just like EVERY OTHER scammy dealership. read more

Penske has seriously deteriorated the Audi brand. Brought my Q 7 in for routine maintenance and they did not want to give me a loaner. I even had pre-arranged the loaner with my appt. After complaining to the service manager, they finally relented. They should not be near any luxury brand. read more

Almost my entire experience at this dealership two Sundays ago (4/6) was really off putting. I initially stopped in to see a vehicle I had seen on the website. Myself along with a friend dropped in to test drive it and get a better look. I understand I dropped by without an appointment so unfortunately it wasn't ready to be shown so that's not my issue or what got me about this visit. It's the rest of the visit that I take issue with. From nobody being at the desk or greeting us for several minutes eventually having to ask for assistance from a salesman, to over hearing a different salesman basically go off and berate a customer at his desk over wasting his time and being on commission, along with just the overall attitude from other representatives. All that being said it's hard to want to go back or even recommend them when I had a completely opposite experience at a sister dealership. read more

After not receiving a call back from my service advisor, I called the general service line to schedule an appointment for my Q5 TDI. I was told twice that I could reserve and rent a loaner while the service was done. I arrived at the dealership and was told by Matthew, my service advisor, that loaners are not available if your "car is older than 2016". I asked several questions bc I was clearly told otherwise. Matthew told me that was the "rule". (What does the age of my vehicle have to do with a loaner?) I left knowing that I needed a loaner vehicle. Came home and called back to the service department and explained what happened. I was routed to the service manager (an indication that the alleged "rule" clearly was not correct). I also found these two statements online about loaners at Audi North Scottsdale - see screenshots. I've spent lots of $$$ at this dealership's service dept and am perplexed by the randomness of this arbitrary "rule". What gives? read more

Caution When Buying Used from Audi North Scottsdale We recently bought a used Lexus RX from Audi North Scottsdale. While we could overlook the cracked windshield, what we weren't told was that the car also needed a transmission service, had a cracked torque mount, worn brake pads, and other mechanical issues , all discovered just weeks after purchase. I found a 123k car I liked online, and my wife and I stopped by on our way to work. Did a quick test drive, and told them we wanted to lease it. Since we had to run to work they said we could work it all from home. Agreed to a deal and ran credit. Drove to the dealership to sign and drive and of course the deal was totally upside down. I texted them to not fumble the handoff and they said they wouldn't. Avoid like the plague. They play games. Shawn promised we had a deal, and we did not. Update. My call to schedule a service appointment was answered by an automated female voice named "Willow" that asks a few questions to arrange a time. Immediately afterward, "Willow" unexpectedly transferred me to an automated female voice named "Brooke" that asked the identical questions. Except "Brooke" couldn't understand me answering yes to the final question. So I was transferred to an actual employee who asked me the same questions once more. Someone there must believe it is impressive for synthetic attendants to have names. What would have been efficient and satisfying is not answering the same questions 3 times. This is the most bizarre system I've ever experienced. When you call the general number for service, You are processed through recordings when you attempt to ask for a human. Purchased a Audi sq5 with this company April 2024 called to schedule routine maintenance and resolution to a sensor issue which is under warranty service agent on phone was totally condescending , do to the issue the car would need to be left overnight I ask for a loaner since I'm 45 mins away was told would be $30 a day and would need to have the car dropped off by 8am or the rental probably would already be gone, seriously isn't that why to reserve the rental which by the way why does this do called luxury dealership charge for that anyhow no one else does needless to say I took my business elsewhere after not getting a callback after several messages left to Chris Powell the GM apparently poor customer service does start at the top and run downhill. Jake Korthals the service advisor was great! Ive worked at a few dealerships in town and understand there's a level of distrust when it comes to sales as well as the service department. Mostly everyone by now understands that a majority of a dealerships profits come from parts and service but I never felt pressured. When you get a video of your vehicle from the technician going over the summary of your inspection, there's a level of trust that comes along with it. Reputation is huge in any business and so far North Scottsdale Audi will get my recommendation to my friends and family. I will only be bringing my vehicle here for service and maintenance. A few weeks passes and the salesman reaches out to see if I have any interest in the car. I told them they had my offer. Then a sales manager gets involved (Caelen Amrijo) and wants to chat. I tell him my offer is what it is and then he questions how I arrived at the offer. I tell him they have my offer and can either take it or not. I am not going back and forth. Then he feels the need to "scold" me about how I should do business. He wanted to play the stereotypical car salesman game of back and forth. I was not interested and his feelings got hurt. Most car dealership experiences are negative, I want to dispel that myth with a great buying transaction. Recently I purchased an SUV from Audi N Scottsdale. I have to say that Nelson & Tony, the sales associates, made this an extremely easy and good experience. I drove the SUV and wanted to think about it. There was absolutely no pressure to complete the transaction at that time. I asked for a breakdown of all the fees and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't load the contract with a bunch of garbage fees, like other dealerships. While signing all the documents, I was expecting a high pressure sales pitch on why I needed an extended warranty and other services they offer, but they didn't. I felt like I got a good deal on the car and the follow through was fantastic. Highly recommend giving them a chance when you are looking for a car. read more

I made an appointment to check out an Audi A3 that they were offering. I had two in mind that I was really excited to see. When I arrived, the salesperson (Nelson) I was supposed to meet passed us off to a woman named, Debby. She had let us know that the one car I wanted was currently being sold by the original salesperson I was supposed to meet, to another person. And that the next car I wanted had been sold for "quite some time". This isn't what upset me. Debby had no solutions. She didn't offer that we look at another car and essentially turned us away. I came to the Audi dealership with ideas of what I wanted, but overall an open mind. My family and I have bought two cars here, so I assumed that I would be treated better. I felt as if she was treating me like I couldn't afford the car. Little did she know, I had everything they needed upfront. We had told her that we were disappointed because Nelson had my information and hoped that he would have let me know before my appointment that it had been sold. She said to us "We don't hold cars here", and continued to repeat this to us. That wasn't what we were saying, just letting her know that it wasn't the best situation for us as buyers to be in. Really disappointed in my experience and will be looking for another dealership to help me find my next car. Do not recommend working with Debby, she will not help with solutions and honestly felt like she didn't want to work to help us. I also would not recommend Nelson, although minimal interaction, it would have been nice for him to let us know that both cars had been sold already. Honestly, I never thought I would be reviewing an auto dealership with anything positive to say but those are the old days, pre-internet. I started looking for a secondhand 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Platinum in October of 2023. I owned one several years ago and absolutely loved it. Only a handful were showing up online and one of the ones that caught my eye was from Audi North Scottsdale. From that point until the end of the transaction my experience with this dealership was nothing short of top-notch. The staff (in particular Mark, Doug & Lucas) was readily available. Information I needed was given to me immediately and I never had to wait for anyone to return any phone calls or emails. The price they sold it to me for was more than fair as well. The Fusion I got from them was in excellent condition & was well looked after. I have never purchased a secondhand vehicle in this sort of pristine condition There was a small issue with the car I noticed shortly after receiving it that needed to be fixed, and they had no problem reimbursing me for that. How many dealerships can you say would do that for you? The overall experience was truly a pleasurable one & I couldn't recommend them more to anyone that is looking for a new or secondhand vehicle. read more

You are warned. Do not do business with Audi North Scottsdale. They do not stand behind their cars. All the they try to do is get money out of you. They say: "Our goal is to provide you with a personal, unique and responsive Audi experience." This is a total lie!!! I brought in a car with a broken oil level indicator light/sensor. I know it is the light because I manually checked the oil and it is 100% at the right level. The car only has 35,000 miles and just got out of warranty. Instead of trying to fix the light, they said I had to pay $220 for a diagnostic check and they they will give an estimate of what it will take to fix a light/sensor (that they agreed should have lasted longer than 35,000 miles. Since it just got out of warranty and it is a low mileage car, I asked if they would cover the repair for something that should not break soon. A big resounding NO. All they are about is getting money out of you. They do not stand behind their cars. This leads to the conclusions that Audi's are crap!! Don't buy an Audi and do not go to Audi of North Scottsdale! read more

We stopped in and met with JAKE KORTHALS to see what could be done about this. Within 6 hours of dropping off our car JAKE and his team troubleshooted the problem and fixed our a/c (it was a blown switch). They washed our car and we were able to make the graduation no problem.
