She made me feel like family and set me at ease right away. The doctor then entered, introduced himself, and visited a moment before beginning the exam. The place was extremely upscale and all his staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Trettenero was very pleasant, friendly, and made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. He then asked the assistant to get the X-rays needed. This office was equipped with what seemed to be the most updated technology necessary for any situation. The X-ray machine was amazing, like nothing I had ever seen. It only took moments and we were done, back into the room for review. Dr. Trettenero sat with me, explaining what we saw on the monitor. There were 3-dimensional rotating views, and views showing layers of each upper and lower. And all turned out better than I imagined. No cavities, I just needed an adjustment to align my bite. Afterward, Dr. Trettenero cleaned my teeth and said all looked good, I'd been doing a good job. He was very gentle while doing the work, and cleaning was the easiest I ever experienced, anywhere. When I arrived, I again said I was there for a dental cleaning only, No xrays and No exam. The receptionist said yes, barely speaking English. I then went into the back and they insisted I had to get xrays, I hesitantly said OK, Again, almost no English. Then they inspected my teeth which I did not ask for. Right after that, ok you can leave now. I replied no I am here for a dental cleaning. I talked to the manager and she said that is not how it works. I asked them to at least email me the xrays and the manager replied we don't have email, my manager will email them in 3 days. She then sarcastically said to the other receptionists, I guess he will be finding another dentist. I lost several hours of pay and also lost the dental benefit for the year, is was a disaster.

I mention this because we selected another dental care agency and had made the initial visit. On the follow up visit (approx. 30 minutes before the appointment) they called to cancel. My wife and I were already here and would have wasted our day for nothing. Most importantly, she was in pain and needed to get things started with treatment. Lee Dental Care came to the rescue! We were lucky as they had an appointment for her that day and were able to start her treatment plan right away. Polite, professional, and compassionate would describe the whole team. The team of dentists, hygienists, and support/administrative staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, they are excellent at what they do. Honest and upfront not only about the price of treatment but also what they are capable of and their limits. For my wife they referred a specialist which made us feel good to know they would not just "try it" if they were not sure they could accomplish the treatment successfully. Immediately said the tooth will break when cleaning out decay. I told her I would think on it and get a 2nd opinion. Another dentist said he will put filling in cavity but warned me tooth may break. I will take the risk. I wish she would have at least tried to save the tooth and let me decide. She did put a filling in a deep cavity on tooth at gum line. She used laser to remove partial gum to get at the cavity. She did a great job. so far no root canal, since removing partial gum may have exposed the root. She has broken English. She calls a BONE a BUN.. Beware of this. She tends to say OH MY GOD when she sees a deep cavity. I didn't like that, since everyone can hear her. even guests in waiting room. Overly dramatic. Although I liked her and her work with my cavity. Not sure about her yet.
