They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. Some work was already completed on the rims of my car and now I am getting called by the USAA assigned salvage partner CoPart. I am being told by CoPart to release my vehicle for salvage. USAA is holding the estimate in a review status and being unresponsive as to next steps. The USAA adjuster is non responsive to Liability Coverage for their insured driver who they found at fault for impact damage to my car. This is a very confusing mess with no resolution and I am caught in the middle with no one to hold accountable.

He pretty much echoed all the tips my buddy had given me about navigating the repair process, so I decided to give the place a shot and took my vehicle to them.
